PitOliveThe rooms are clean and spacious, with separate bathrooms and toilets. All amenities are provided. There's ample parking with security staff. There's also a swimming pool, and during my stay, they even had a foam party. The breakfast is a standard hotel buffet with a good variety of choices and delicious food. The staff are friendly and cheerful, offering great service. The hotel is conveniently located not far from Ao Nang Beach, with many shops and restaurants nearby.

MerveYThe hotel has a beautiful location and the beach is truly excellent. The room was also comfortable and nicely designed. The staff are generally friendly and polite.
However, this hotel definitely does not meet 5-star standards.
There was no security or lifeguard at the pool or the beach, which is very concerning, especially for families with children. The staff are kind, but there is almost no proactive service. You need to explain everything twice and personally find someone if you need assistance.
Housekeeping was also below expectations. Towels and tissues were not replenished unless we specifically requested them. Nothing in the room was refreshed automatically. Even more disappointing, the WiFi was cut off immediately after we checked out.
One particularly unpleasant experience happened at the restaurant by the beach. I briefly stepped inside in my swimsuit just to call my child. I explained that we were leaving immediately to change and would return for dinner properly dressed. Instead of a polite reminder, I was told in a harsh tone that I had to leave immediately and that proper clothing was required. The way it was handled felt unnecessarily rude and unprofessional.
Overall, the hotel is nice in terms of location and beach quality, but the service level and overall management do not justify a 5-star rating.

Anonymous UserThe staff were friendly and always smiling. The location is good, and the view of the mountains from the back is beautiful. The room was nice, but the only drawback is that it's not soundproof. There's a gap under the door, letting light in, and you can constantly hear noise when people walk by or when cleaning staff push their carts.

An incredibly smart choice, we loved this French-style hotel with huge gardens! The twin beds were super big and comfortable, and the room hygiene was spot-on – truly five-star worthy! It's worth mentioning that the Italian restaurant, both service and dishes, was top-notch; we enjoyed it so much we went twice. The White Lotus Thai restaurant was also delicious, and the service was very attentive! The hotel pool is massive, really fun, and great for families with kids! Every staff member we encountered had excellent service awareness and was very nice! It's only about a 20-minute drive to the meeting point for island-hopping in the morning, which is totally acceptable and very convenient. There's also a 7-Eleven within a 10-minute walk, so it's easy to grab drinks and snacks. All in all, our whole family loved it, a truly memorable hotel experience!

JanicejnI absolutely loved my stay at this hotel!
Room Upgrade & Design: I was upgraded to a newly renovated room, and it was stunning! The design is very beautiful, featuring a minimalist style with warm wooden tones. I was very impressed with the room itself. The only minor drawback for guests seeking absolute quiet is the soundproofing of the front door, which is a little thin. You can still hear some noise from people walking past in the hallway.
Exceptional Staff: The service from the staff was outstanding. Hardy, Kik, and Cream were all wonderful, providing excellent and very friendly service. A special mention also goes to Lusho at the breakfast restaurant. He took excellent care of me, always ready to recommend dishes and answer any questions we had about the food—just ask him anything you need!
Location: The location is superb! It's just a short 7-minute walk to Ao Nang beach and very close to the night market, restaurants, and a 7-Eleven.
Facilities:
• Spa: The hotel spa is fantastic! I had the aroma massage for 850 THB, and it was excellent—both muscle and mind felt completely relaxed. The calming natural sounds, especially with the rain falling during my session, made it incredibly soothing.
• Fitness & Pool: The fitness center is well-equipped, and the swimming pool is lovely.
Overall: This is the perfect place for a relaxing, no-stress vacation. The food is good, the location is excellent (close to the beach and nearby restaurants), and the facilities are comprehensive. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning!

TreeskyWe stayed here for our honeymoon. I mentioned it beforehand, and they decorated the bed for a honeymoon event, though there was no room upgrade.
The location is about a 15-minute walk from Ao Nang Beach. It's not super close. The shuttle bus only runs 3-4 times a day, so we mostly walked. However, many tours depart from Ao Nang, so the overall location wasn't bad.
There are many Indian and Muslim guests. Perhaps because of this, the breakfast and hotel food seemed to cater to their tastes. The Pad Thai at the hotel's Da Vino restaurant is truly delicious, so you must try it. However, the food takes a very long time to arrive. The prices are also a bit high; we ate there twice, and it cost 1,200 baht and 1,800 baht.
Upon check-in, they offer orange juice as a welcome drink. The female staff member at the front desk with long black hair tied in a low ponytail was incredibly friendly and proactive, which left a lasting impression. She seemed to work with a real sense of dedication.
The room is small. It's not large and the facilities are more akin to a 4-star rather than a 5-star hotel. The finishing touches and bathroom seemed a bit lacking. The bed was comfortable. Sandals and pool towels are provided. Basic amenities like toothbrushes and shower caps are simple. The hand wash is a bit far from the sink, which is an odd design. Crucially, the Wi-Fi worked well on my phone but I couldn't connect my laptop, which was inconvenient.
On our last day, after checking out, we visited Railay Beach. The hotel has separate shower rooms in the lobby, so we could shower even after checking out. I think this is a really big advantage of this hotel.
Also, a staff member named Mu was very kind.
Honestly, I'm not sure if I would stay here again if I came back. There are many other better places.
However, for a one-time experience, I think it's good.

Shamila BashirWe recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Holiday Inn Resort Krabi Ao Nang Beach by IHG, staying on a room package that included breakfast for five days.
Overall, we had a lovely stay, but there were a few things worth sharing—especially for fellow Muslim travellers.
We had assumed the breakfast buffet would be fully halal-friendly. While there were halal options available, pork was also served, so do keep that in mind if that’s important to you.
The biggest frustration was the breakfast package itself. Although we had prepaid for all five days, the hotel had no record of it. Every single morning we had to explain that breakfast was included, which became quite irritating. Thankfully, after raising the issue for the third time, the team finally resolved it. As a kind gesture, they treated us to drinks at one of their restaurants, which we appreciated.
A special anniversary touch was also a little confusing. Mr. Yah mentioned that a small cake would be delivered to our room, but it never arrived. On our final day, we received a brownie instead—perhaps that was the “small cake” he was referring to. That said, we absolutely loved the beautiful welcome message arranged on our bed when we arrived. It made us feel very special.
Our daughter, Ava, had the best time! She absolutely loved the Kids Club and the mini water park, which kept her entertained for hours and made the holiday even more enjoyable for the whole family. The resort’s layout took a little getting used to. It’s spread across multiple levels, so navigating around was slightly confusing on the first day. After that, it became much easier. However, families with strollers or anyone with mobility challenges should be aware that moving between the different levels can be a bit of a challenge.
Despite a few hiccups, we genuinely enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and tried to make things right when issues were raised, and the resort offers a great atmosphere for families. With a few improvements in communication and record-keeping, the experience would have been even better.

Guest UserSTUNNING ROOMS & ECO-EFFICIENCY VS. A FILTHY, DANGEROUS POOL NIGHTMARE! (2/5 Stars)There is a shocking, unbelievable contrast in this hotel! While the room quality, the housekeeping staff, and the eco-friendly room concept are absolutely outstanding, the resort management completely fails when you step outside, delivering a loud, highly dangerous, and unhygienic health hazard. The Room & Eco-Concept are absolute Perfection (10/5 Stars): To be completely fair, the room itself deserves 10 stars. It is very spacious, smells amazing, and was excellently clean. The beds are super comfortable, and the mattresses/pillows are top-notch. The bathroom is huge, and the balcony is very cute. What I highly respect and love is their environment-friendly concept: They completely avoid single-use plastic waste. Toiletries are in large, refillable dispensers, and complimentary daily water is provided in sustainable glass bottles. They even have a ”My Green Day” program to skip room cleaning to save water and chemicals. This eco-policy is fantastic and exactly what I support! The Disappointing Towel Double-Standard: While the room focuses on saving resources, the pool management destroys this philosophy. They enforce a tyrannical rule: pool towels MUST be returned before 9:00 PM daily, or you face a shocking 800 THB fine. Because of this bureaucratic madness, guests are forced to return completely dry, unused towels (due to constant rain), which the hotel then throws into the heavy laundry anyway just to track their numbers. A massive, hypocritical waste of water and detergent!Absolute Biohazard & Injury Risk Pool Zone (See Pictures): I have traveled to 68 countries—including remote areas of India and Africa—but this pool zone is the most neglected, unhygienic catastrophe I have ever seen. It is an absolute health hazard and a severe injury risk for children! The floor tiles are covered in a thick layer of years-old black grime and incredibly slippery, slimy green algae where anyone will instantly slip and fall. The photos prove total abandonment: multiple flattened geckos are decomposing on the wet tiles, alongside massive, dead cockroaches and giant beetles rotting in algae slime that are simply never cleaned up. Underneath the sun loungers, you find disgusting clumps of human hair, and gross hair strands are literally hanging down from the dirty steps. The entire area is littered with loose plastic bags, cables, sharp plastic straws, and discarded cigarette butts. A filthy, heavily stained towel is simply thrown on the ground as a mat. Even the sunbed metal tension ropes are heavily rusted, sharp, and stick out dangerously right where people walk.Deafening Construction Site: The hotel operates as an active, open construction site without warning. Ugly green safety nets cover balconies right above the pool area. The noise from non-stop metal-flexing and drilling is unbearable, causing severe headaches within an hour. They keep it open out of pure greed instead of renovating during a temporary closure.Broken Infrastructure & Degrading Smoking Policy (See Pictures): The pool restroom is permanently locked (”Out of Order”) and completely unusable. The outdoor showers cannot be used either; they are heavily stained, and the drains are totally clogged with rotting leaves and discarded plastic spoons, leaving the filthy water standing there.
Furthermore, smoking is strictly banned on private balconies, forcing guests down to a single trash can at the lobby entrance. There is absolutely NO roof or shelter over this spot! When it rains, guests are forced to stand completely unprotected under dripping trees in the absolute pouring rain next to a wet, stinking bin. There are no seats or tables, so you have to place your drinks directly onto the dirty, wet trash bin. Think twice before booking!

Anonymous UserThe location is great, not far from Ao Nang beach and within walking distance, with restaurants all along the way. The pool is large, and the room is spacious and clean with a bathtub. Overall, it's good, but I have to deduct points for the staff's service. I also work in a hotel. My male friend and I came here for a vacation, thinking this place was good. That night, we came back from outside a little past midnight, about to enter the hotel to rest. A large, female staff member spoke to us in a tone that was inappropriate for guests. She asked which room we were in. We told her the room number. Then she asked if we had an ID. We said we had a reservation. She just replied, ”Oh,” and walked away without apologizing. I told my friend, and he said it was very rude. I wasn't okay with it because I also work in customer service. I treat my customers well because I expect to receive good service from staff as well. I want to say that no matter who the customer is, you are a service staff member, and your words have an impact. We didn't report it to the front desk because we were in a hurry to check out and go somewhere else. Everything else was fine, but if I were to stay here again, I'd pass for now.
