I only stayed one night and it was alright for the money I paid. Nice big bed and great location with lots of entertainment around - a short walk to the beach, 7eleven, restaurants, shops, etc. Also, it’s important to mention that the bed is comprised of two mattresses joined together, rather than a single large bed.

I reserved the deluxe suite, which was an exceptionally spacious and well-appointed accommodation measuring approximately 66 square meters. It was equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a king-size bed and a bathtub. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail shown by the staff in fulfilling my special request to decorate the bed. The two balconies in the room offered breathtaking views, adding to the overall luxurious experience. The staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism and friendliness throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was extensive and of high quality, while the swimming pool provided ample space for relaxation and enjoyment. I highly recommend this hitel to anyone seeking a memorable and comfortable stay. I intend to return in the future. I express my gratitude to the Deewana Hotel for their outstanding hospitality.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience were disappointing. Pros: • The air conditioning was cold enough, which was a plus. • Due to hotel room unavailability, we booked a twin bedroom, but the staff kindly offered to join the beds into a double bed upon our arrival, which we appreciated. Cons: • The bathroom was clogged, and water drained very slowly. When we reported it to the staff, they claimed it was due to an uneven bathroom floor, but this was not the case. • There was absolutely no soundproofing. Everyday from 7-8 AM, loud knocking sounds (as if renovation work was happening) could be heard, along with people opening and closing doors loudly, talking, and walking outside. It was impossible to get a good rest. • The ”Do Not Disturb” button in our room was broken, so we informed the receptionist that we did not need housekeeping for two days. However, despite this, housekeeping still entered and cleaned the room while we were out. • From the online pictures, the hotel appeared to have a beautiful lobby and pool area, but we didn't expect that our room type would be located in a separate building. This building was further from the lobby and pool area, and its overall appearance was not as nice as the main lobby area. Our balcony view was facing a building wall—definitely not what we expected. • The walkway in this separate building was dirty, and the housekeeping tray was always left outside, right next to our room door. Additionally, the staff’s housekeeping room was also right next to our room, which may explain why it was so noisy early in the morning. Overall, I would not recommend staying here if the room is located in the separate building without elevator access. Perhaps the rooms facing the pool and accessible by elevator offer a better experience.

Located 30 min away from aonang beach, hotel are new and clean. Service always as good as 5 star, room are little narrow. Breakfast are very good and full with varieties, no eateries nearby, so either u must pay for taxi to get to town or dine in resort. Price are expensive as u know it is 5 star resort, taste ok but not impresssive. However, I’d u plan to stay for vacation, highly recommended!

We booked a room here at the last minute, and the price was just crazy for a hotel of this level. The room was spacious and fairly clean. Cleaning was done every day, and towels were changed. However, the shower was in need of improvement. The broken shower head sprayed water all over the bathroom. The room door closes very loudly, and the sound echoes throughout the hotel. The breakfast wasn't very varied, but it was sufficient. Unfortunately, this is not the hotel we would want to stay at again.

A very pleasant hotel, a little out of the way of the hustle and bustle enough to hear the sounds of nature, just a few minutes away from bars and shops, a good 25 minute walk to beach. The hotel was clean with helpful staff who helped with booking our outings, a lovely view of the mountain and excellent room service. The only negative I could see was the bathroom was on the small side but lovely room and beautiful view from the balcony

The hotel has a very nice pool with poolside drinks and food service. There are early morning/early evening complimentary yoga and other wellness lessons. There is a child playground and indoor creche (presumably not complimentary). The lobby is up an elevated driveway from the street. To get to your building, there are more outside steps. So, this hotel is not for you if you have limited mobility. Having said that, there is a hotel 'golf cart' available to move you plus your luggage. Then there is the location. There is a wide choice of eating places, some with live music. Ao Nang beach is just 10min walk away. This is where you catch boat trips to the other islands. All in all, the hotel met all my expectations. The world is too big for me to return in the near future. But if i did, I would rebook the Holiday Inn.

number of people staying really matters to the hotel - upon checking in they will ask how many people are staying and they strictly wont allow more than 2 people in a room, its their policy - we came in a group of 3, so we need to pay additional 1000 baht per night. we stayed 3 nights so we need to pay 3000 baht upon checking in - its impossible to lie to them as their lobby is very open so they definitely can see how many of u guys coming once u drop out from your airport car - i dont mind and im not angry to the hotel because we need to respect their policy, plus the receptionist is kind and helpful, they talk to u nicely cleanliness - the room is very clean and well maintained, nothing to complain. i feel comfortable - pool is clean as well, i saw they clean the pool every morning location - the only downside of this hotel is the location. its not on the mainroad. its a bit far from the beach. - i book grab around 70baht one way to the beach and shopping streets. - i book grab around 90baht one way to aonang landmark night market - i book grab around 70baht one way to aonang muslim street food - if u’re planning to rent a motorbike then the location of this hotel doesnt really matter breakfast - all halal breakfast - variety choices of food - breakfast served from 6.30am - 11am - one male staff on duty name Music was really kind and pleasant. he always check on the guests to make sure we have a good breakfast experience in the hotel amenities - i love that this hotel uses an app for us to order additional amenities daily. its very easy and convenient - after u order from the app, the housekeeper will send the items to your room luggage storage and weighing scale - they provide luggage storage without additional service charge - and they have big weighing scale for u to weigh your luggage before going to the airport hotel lobby - the hotel lobby is open concept hence there is no aircond - so if your return flight is late at night like in my case, after checking out, we went to the nearest coffee shop to sit and relax with aircond overall experience - satisfied

Breakfast- smaller selection than usual five stars but it was high quality.  Activities- so much to do if you’re into fitness! Hyrox, Spartan, HITT, Muay Thai, rock climbing (some have surcharges- need to Check) Service- I found this lacking in terms of front desk service and phone as everything you are asked to dial 0. Maybe it’s the language barrier. Ten step onsen- only available 2 timings/day 11am and 5pm so you really have to plan your time around it which was annoying so we did not end up doing  Late check out- not available! Allowed to use facilities, only open shower available and change at the spa.  Beach club- free use of bean bags for hotel guest. But usage of pool is chargeable with minimum spend (depending where you choose to sit it’s a different price) free activities for hotel guest- kayak, paddle board, padel )  Pool- take note pool not allowed for kids below 12. I found the hotel very stingy with towels. Also lack service. Nobody comes to you to offer menu and ask what you’d like, I had to look high and low for attention.  As you walk out from Varana. there are some restaurant options (6-8 restaurants) very affordable.  Overall, we had a good time but lacked the magic somehow.
