Monasterio, A Belmond Hotel, Cusco
"Belmond Monasterio: The Best Hotel in Cusco, Beyond Any Comparison Without exaggeration, Belmond Monasterio is the best hotel in Cusco. Even after trying two other higher-priced Belmond properties and the JW Marriott, I still firmly believe this is the ultimate choice. The beauty of this hotel is beyond words. The elegant public spaces and tranquil gardens create an atmosphere of timeless serenity. The classic, historic walls whisper stories of the past, while the dazzling golden chapel adds a breathtaking sense of grandeur. Every detail is a masterpiece. Yet, what truly sets Belmond Monasterio apart is its service. The staff are warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Their service attitude is impeccable—perhaps the best in South America. A prime example: when I lost my credit card, they found it and returned it promptly. Compared to the Los Cabos Waldorf (which I mention due to its premium pricing), this hotel’s service is on another level—infinitely more personal, thoughtful, and heartfelt. I would love to give special recognition to my butler, though unfortunately, I have forgotten his name. In short, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Endless love for Belmond Monasterio."
Hilton Garden Inn Cusco
"A bit outdated hotel outside centre, cheap but not wow"

Hampton by Hilton Cusco
"The Hampton by Hilton staff are phenomenal. They are so welcoming and kind. My room was super clean and the atmosphere was chill. The breakfast buffet was delicious as well as lunch and dinner. Katherine, German and Gabriel as well as all of the other waitresses and waiters are incredible. They are always being of service with a genuine smile with a noble spirit. The are constantly caring for all visitors. So grateful to you."

Palacio Nazarenas, A Belmond Hotel, Cusco
"We had stayed at Monastario 15 yrs ago and tried this Belmond in Cusco and can not praise the staff and management enough. Wonderful and authentic experience and the food rooms be service were excellent. As for Belmond group as a whole/LVMH, their lack of response was very concerning. We tried to book our whole 2 wk Peru trip with Belmond for 8 people and never even heard back from the Lima office. We will question staying in other Belmonds going forward after another issue with the booking process but will always come back to this special place in Cusco."
Hotel Paradis Suite Cusco
"It isn't quite new but its a nice hotel, it feels very classy. The only downside is that our heater stopped working but that wasn't a big problem. I would recommend this hotel especially if they have a good deal."
Hotel Montecristo Cusco
"Hotel Montecristo. The location is good. Just walking distance from the main plaza and with easy access to the main attractions. A short walk uphill and you are in the “acueducto” as well as a good spot for nice view and pictures of the city. There is a small grocery store and a pharmacy nearby. I was able to get any last minute items that I needed from there, like water, sunblock, insect repellent, etc. The rooms are comfortable. The breakfast was light but ok. And the internet can definitely be better, but based on the location (Cuzco) you can’t ask for much. Right? The staff people were friendly and helpful when needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city."
Palacio Manco Capac by Ananay Hotels
"The room is very comfortable and clean. The design and furnishings of the hotel are very stylish. The hotel staff are also very welcoming and polite, from the front desk to the restaurant and room service."
Antigua Casona San Blas
"A charming small boutique hotel that truly exceeds expectations. The staff were excellent and very helpful throughout our stay, with only a minor issue related to room cleaning. The room was beautifully appointed with thoughtful touches such as special teas and warm water bottles in the bed. Breakfast was included and presented in a unique and enjoyable way, making it feel special compared to standard hotel breakfasts. We also enjoyed a very good dinner at the hotel. Exceptional value for money. The location is ideal—on a quiet, narrow side street with little traffic, away from tourist crowds yet close enough to walk to most attractions. Highly recommended."
Hotel Monasterio San Pedro
"Good attention and services from the staff. The architecture of the place is pleasant."
Hotel El Alamo Ejecutivo & Spa
"There are a lot of equipment but not many people use it. The spa bathtub has a thick layer of dust, so it's best to clean it yourself."
Imperial Cusco Hotel
"Basic, nothing na signal, gentle staff"
Casa Andina Standard Cusco Catedral
"Perfect breakfast in quality and service time( 5-10am), super convenient location!"
Hotel Polo Cusco Suites
"Beautiful hotel"
Tambo del Arriero Hotel Boutique
"The hotel is very beautiful and stylish, lots of antique furniture and utensils. It is located 10 minutes slow walk from Plaza de Arma. At the same time, we got a room without a window, and this greatly complicated the issue with ventilation. Cusco is at an altitude of 3500, and there is no oxygen there anyway. We had to sleep with the front door open, which is not very comfortable. One morning there was a mess with breakfast. A lot of companies came at once, and the kitchen could not cope, we had to wait 20 minutes for scrambled eggs, and the trays with food were not updated. But I think that this was a temporary phenomenon, otherwise the breakfast is good. Free oxygen at the reception."
Hotel Polo Corporativo San Sebastian
"It’s very far from the center and not in a safe area — I wouldn’t recommend it."
Kayara Cusco Hotel
"The stay at the hotel was very good. Room was big and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is well located"
