"This was our favourite hotel in Peru! The staff were amazing, always checking on us and making sure we were comfortable. They helped us with oxygen when one of us was sick from altitude. They have a laundry room, which was super convenient as a family. Laura at the front desk was incredible, she deserves a promotion! Such a lovely, and helpful front desk attendant!"

They discovered it was my birthday without telling them and received free delicious waffles for breakfast on my special day. The bed was super comfy with incredible views of the city. Breakfast was comprehensive and yummy. The towels were the softest ever! The location is great, it is easy to walk to squares, restaurants, etc. I would highly recommend this place when staying in Cuco!"

The room was uncomfortably dark and cold, the heating system was non-functional, and the electricity failed twice during my stay—a concerning reliability issue. The elegant public spaces and tranquil gardens create an atmosphere of timeless serenity. The classic, historic walls whisper stories of the past, while the dazzling golden chapel adds a breathtaking sense of grandeur. Every detail is a masterpiece. Yet, what truly sets Belmond Monasterio apart is its service. The staff are warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Their service attitude is impeccable—perhaps the best in South America. A prime example: when I lost my credit card, they found it and returned it promptly. Compared to the Los Cabos Waldorf (which I mention due to its premium pricing), this hotel’s service is on another level—infinitely more personal, thoughtful, and heartfelt. I would love to give special recognition to my butler, though unfortunately, I have forgotten his name. In short, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Endless love for Belmond Monasterio."

"The hotel converted into an ancient house is quite large inside and very local. There are many public rest areas and the courtyard landscape is beautiful. There are often surprises in corners, antique furniture decoration, and the atmosphere is full. The room is very spacious and the bathroom is large. There is a separate toilet and shower room. The independent balcony can rest and enjoy the street view. Luggage can be stored at the front desk and 2 minutes walk from the weapons square in the city center."

"Hotel Montecristo. The location is good. Just walking distance from the main plaza and with easy access to the main attractions. A short walk uphill and you are in the “acueducto” as well as a good spot for nice view and pictures of the city. There is a small grocery store and a pharmacy nearby. I was able to get any last minute items that I needed from there, like water, sunblock, insect repellent, etc. The rooms are comfortable. The breakfast was light but ok. And the internet can definitely be better, but based on the location (Cuzco) you can’t ask for much. Right? The staff people were friendly and helpful when needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city."

"They provide breakfast in the morning, it's clean and quiet, and it's really nice. There's a supermarket 20 minutes away on foot. It seems a little out of the way, but it's good. Highly recommended."

"The hotel is located 15 minutes by car from the center. My reservation indicated that breakfast was included, but when I got there, I was surprised by an additional fee of 20 soles per day per person. This was quite frustrating. Also, we faced issues with room facilities. In the first, the shower had constant temperature issues, swinging between hot and cold, making bathing an uncomfortable experience. In the second room, we were informed that we would only be able to use the jacuzzi once a day. This restriction was not mentioned during the reservation and severely limited my relaxation experience during the stay. Employees began sweeping the stairs at 7 a.m., resulting in an unwanted wake-up due to noise. Additionally, the presence of transparent parts at the top of the room doors and windows allowed external light from the hallways to illuminate my room, affecting proper rest."

It felt like a little home away from home. If you want a place with genuine kindness, helpful service, and cozy comforts in a beautiful setting, Andean Dreams is the perfect choice. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the region!"

"It was the best starting your day with a breakfast with the amazing views you were treated at the top floor. The restaurant made the best cocktails we had in Peru and their food was of good quality as well. Vegan option was also made off the menu out of request and it was lovely. The room was lovely with a great bathroom and nice hot shower. I would have liked a hairdryer which was not provided though. Bed was one of the best we had in Peru but there was some noise coming from the train line right next to the hotel. These are old diesel trains that blew the horn at night to cars going across the railway as there were no beams that went down when the trains passed. Also Friday night there was noise from the hotel bar until early hours. Other nights were more quiet."
