Novotel Cusco

Fantastic location! The road right outside is wide enough for even large tour buses to pull up to the entrance. The staff are incredibly kind and enthusiastic. I asked if they could pack me a breakfast since I had to leave before 5 AM, and they happily agreed. Even though it was a packed breakfast, there was so much food: yogurt, juice, sandwiches, ham, an apple, and more. I also saw an opera performance in the lobby one evening. Plus, it's only a ten-minute walk to the main square, and right next to a Marriott. Very satisfied!

Upon arrival, they offered us a room at the hotel across the street because they didn't have any available rooms, even though we had paid for our room in advance. The WiFi was very poor, and there were issues with the shower; my wife had to shower using the faucet in the bathtub because the showerhead wasn't working.

The value for money isn't great.

I stayed one night at Machu Picchu and left my luggage at the hotel. When I returned, I stayed at the same place again. It was very convenient, with a great location, a comfortable bed, and even a kettle. Excellent value for money.
