JW Marriott El Convento Cusco

This hotel was absolutely terrible. We were returning to Cusco from a day trip in the suburbs and were worried about missing our flight. We arranged with the hotel to have our luggage sent to the airport. They called me at least 5 times to confirm the $17 price and my details. The luggage was supposed to arrive at 6 PM sharp. The driver was half an hour late and immediately demanded $20 upon arrival, refusing to hand over the luggage until we paid. We were furious. In the end, we paid the $17, but the argument took a long time (the driver didn't speak English, and the Spanish translation app wasn't effective), and we almost missed our flight. For a hotel that charges three to four thousand soles a night, trying to extort an extra $3 from us is truly shameful and disgraceful.

The Marriott in Cusco truly lived up to our expectations. Its exquisite taste not only blends history and culture, but also shines through in its hotel management and customer-centric service philosophy. The hotel's location is also incredibly convenient, right in the city center, with all sorts of shops and restaurants just outside. It's a shame we didn't get to see the famous baby llamas due to time constraints... a small regret for sure. The hotel's breakfast buffet is also very rich and varied... definitely worth staying here!

The hotel's location is excellent, and the room size is just right. The ventilation system in the room provides oxygen, and oxygen masks are available upon request. All the staff are very friendly, and the breakfast offers a rich variety. I had a very comfortable stay!

This hotel has an ancient, monastery-like charm, which is really unique. The facilities are excellent, and it's definitely worth a stay.

I was a bit nervous about flying directly to a high-altitude area, but the room's diffused oxygen supply made me incredibly comfortable, and I didn't experience any symptoms of altitude sickness at all!

Our room was spacious, quiet, and extremely comfortable, allowing us to rest well while adjusting to Cusco’s altitude. The breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of dishes, and the hotel’s facilities contributed to a relaxing stay. The team was attentive, thoughtful, and consistently helpful throughout our visit. Its convenient location also made it easy to explore the historic centre before returning to the comfort of the hotel. Overall, JW Marriott El Convento Cusco delivered the service, comfort, and quality expected of a luxury hotel. It was one of the most relaxing parts of our Cusco experience, and we would gladly stay here again.

This is a local luxury hotel with unique characteristics. Both the service and the food were a pleasant surprise. I think the facilities here are slightly better than the JW Marriott next door.
