"The hotel's location is right in the city center, next to a mall, and there's a bustling food street right outside. The hotel's interior is excellent, and the front desk and service staff are very friendly. The indoor environment is clean, facilities are complete, and it's thoughtfully quiet. I'm very satisfied; some retired aunts and uncles even come here to visit. I'll definitely come again next time, absolutely delighted. Recommended!"

"The hotel's facilities are a bit dated, and the room size is just average. There was a minor incident on the day we checked in: the air conditioning in this executive room made a loud, whistling noise when it was on. Luckily, the weather wasn't too hot, so we could sleep without it. The shower drain was severely clogged; initially, I thought it was just hair and debris, but when I opened the drain cover, I realized the pipe itself was blocked. After running the shower for just two minutes, the entire shower stall would flood, enough to 'go boating,' and it took a long time for the water to drain. This also caused water to spill out onto the bathroom floor. We contacted housekeeping, and since we were very tired that day, they offered to give us a solution the next day and promptly switched us to a twin room. Overall, their attitude was good, and they handled the issue quite proactively. The hotel breakfast spread is decent for the price. The hot food at the lounge was just so-so, but given how hotels are currently cutting costs due to 'cost reduction and efficiency improvement' by their owners, it's good that the lounge is still operational at all. We drove ourselves, and that evening, we were told we couldn't park in the ground-level parking lot due to a bus, so we had to navigate to the very complicated underground garage. A doorman proactively asked if we needed a ride to guide us, which was a nice touch, as we wouldn't have found it otherwise. I suggest they update the hotel's underground parking entrance/exit location on navigation apps."

"If you are concerned about the security of your belongings, think carefully before staying at this hotel. I want to state first that the receptionists and front desk staff are excellent and professional. Unfortunately, there is a serious issue with room security and unauthorized entry. I am a returning guest. First stay: 10–14 December, Room 3031 Second stay: 22–24 December, Room 3003 During my first stay, I informed the cleaning supervisor that I did not want housekeeping until 14 December. When my room ran out of bottled water, I spoke to a cleaning staff member who said she would place the water in my room later after I went out. During our conversation, my room door accidentally shut, and she used a master key card to open it. Looking back, she could have simply handed the water to me as her cart was in the hallway. On 12 or 13 December, the same cleaning staff mentioned that they “cannot earn if they do not clean my room.” Feeling pressured, I agreed to allow floor cleaning only. I stood outside the room while two cleaners mopped the toilet, changed towels, and vacuumed the carpet. On 14 December early checkout, I reached for a pair of black slack pants that had been hanging in the closet since 10 December but it was not there. At that time, I assumed the pants may have been accidentally packed into the two bags for the hotel’s luggage storage. I then traveled to other parts of China with light luggage and did no shopping. I returned to the hotel on the night of 22 December and collected my stored bags. The black slack pants were not in them. During second stay at the hotel I did no shopping. After 24th Dec flying home, I discovered something even more alarming. A bundle of newly purchased jeans for my sister and mother during my first stay—packed together in a plastic bag—was missing. At the airport on 24th Dec, my bags were shrink-wrapped and sealed, and is no wander the total weight was at least 1.3 kg lighter than expected. This suggests that someone entered my room when the room was vacant and removed items from my packed luggage. Hotel staff would have known my checkout date, and I had not opened my bags after packing. This experience has caused me great distress. While the front desk service is commendable, the lack of room security and the disappearance of personal belongings is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I strongly urge management to investigate this matter seriously."

"Hygiene: The room was clean and well-maintained. When I checked in around noon, I noticed that both checked-out and not-yet-checked-out rooms had their doors open, and they all looked very neatly tidied. Environment: I chose this hotel for its proximity to the high-speed rail station for convenient travel. It's just past a bus station, and the walking distance is acceptable. It was raining on the day I checked in; some parts of the walk were covered, while others required an umbrella. Service: The hotel staff were very welcoming. It was very convenient that food deliveries could be brought directly to the room door. The invoicing service after checkout was also very prompt. Facilities: The double bed was very comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling windows made the room bright. Towels and disposable amenities were well-stocked, though the disposable slippers were a bit thin. I'd suggest pairing them with plastic slippers. I didn't take any pictures of the room, so I'll just share some travel photos I took during my stay."

"This hotel is a hidden gem, absolutely amazing value for money! The hygiene was top-notch with no missed spots, and the bedding was clean and odorless. The service was efficient and prompt; they even helped us with a late check-out. The environment was quiet and tidy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. "The Shangri-La was hands down the most unforgettable hotel of our New Year's trip to Guangxi in 2026. Neither the Hyatt in Liuzhou nor the Wyndham in Fangchenggang came close – the Shangri-La was ten times better! From the magnificent lobby and the elegant, tasteful public areas, to the breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views from the 68-meter-high sky lobby, and the meticulous room service – every staff member was warm, friendly, and efficient. Staying at the hotel itself felt like a vacation; there was no need to visit other attractions. It was an experience of art and culture. I highly recommend booking a package that includes afternoon tea. The themed afternoon tea setup was incredibly impressive, making us want to linger forever, as if we had stepped into a fairy tale. The breakfast was equally outstanding. The variety and exquisite quality of the Shangri-La's dining can't be matched by other hotels. I was particularly impressed by the local Guangxi lemon duck and the grilled pork (Mei Rou). The duck was served warm, and the moment it was opened, all the delicious oil flowed out. I couldn't stop at just two or three pieces each time! I even wanted to ask the hotel what brand they use so I could buy some to take home. The hotel offers direct access to MixC Mall, which had lively New Year's Eve festivities. It's also just a 10-minute drive to Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area, and there are several small parks directly opposite. If you take your time, you could easily stay for many days. Both the children and our elderly family members couldn't stop raving about it. We didn't want to leave at all! We'll definitely choose Shangri-La whenever we travel next. A big thank you to the entire service team for their thoughtful service! Jessica was particularly warm, kind, and friendly, and Alice, Betsy, Ally, and Jenna were also excellent!"

"Fantastic, truly great value for money! It's right near MixC, just a 10-minute walk away, and the subway entrance is very close and convenient. After booking, I contacted the front desk to see if they could upgrade my room, as there weren't many people so a king-sized bed wasn't available! They were really thoughtful and asked what time I'd arrive on check-in day, then I asked them to hold the room type for me. Check-in was smooth, and the front desk agent provided excellent service, guiding me through everything. The lobby design past elevator 1 is great and unique. Aside from the laundry room design being mediocre (poor ventilation, non-commercial equipment), they were very patient and meticulous when handling my laundry. The front desk staff always greeted me when I came in and out; their service was excellent. Thank you all, I'll definitely come back to Nanning next time! 👋"

"The room was newly renovated, clean and hygienic 👍. After checking in, I realized how convenient the location is. It's close to the train station, Metro Exit C, and the Chaoyang Square commercial area – all within about 500 meters. Getting to the airport is even easier, as you can catch the shuttle bus at the Civil Aviation Hotel. The breakfast selection was also very rich."

"We had excellent stay. The view to the lake and the park is wonderful. The beds are very comfortable, the room is clean and spacious. The reception staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The check in / out process are efficient. Although the location is not central of the city, it is very easy to get Didi taxi. Overall it is an excellent hotel, highly recommended."
