Phoenix Hotel(Railway Station Subway Station)

Although it's an older hotel, I booked a city view twin room. The environment and facilities were good, and it was clean and hygienic. A pleasant trip overall.

The hotel is conveniently located near Nanning Railway Station and close to the subway, making transportation very easy. There are many shops nearby, including a night market, so it's great for shopping and leisure. The room was spacious and very clean, and they even provided complimentary snacks. The facilities were excellent, and the front desk staff was very enthusiastic and helpful. Overall, a great stay experience.

The room is great, everyone can confidently choose it, haha! It's clean, tidy, comfortable, and healthy. The environment is pleasant and safe, and it's close to the high-speed rail station.

The hotel's location is great, very easy to find, and close to the train station, making it convenient to go anywhere. Plus, the subway station is just a 50-meter walk away. It's also about 1 kilometer from Sanjie Liangxiang, which is super convenient for sightseeing. The rooms are clean and tidy, the front desk staff are very welcoming, and the breakfast is good. Definitely recommended!

We stayed with our child and had a really great overall experience. The room was very clean, spacious, and perfect for families. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and responded quickly; they patiently answered all our questions. The hotel environment was quiet, so we had an undisturbed night's rest. The Phoenix Hotel Nanning really shines with its fantastic location, right next to the train station – just a three to five-minute walk. The subway entrance is even closer, making it super convenient to get to Chaoyang Square and the Three Streets and Two Lanes area for shopping and dining, without feeling tired even with luggage. As an older four-star hotel, the facilities show their age a bit, but the rooms are spacious and kept reasonably clean, and the bedding is comfortable. The breakfast offers a good variety, with the Gongcheng oil tea being a particularly unique highlight. Front desk service was efficient, and they even helped upgrade my room type. However, the soundproofing and water pressure in the older wings are definitely average. I'd recommend booking a room in the newer Chaoyang Tower. Overall, it's great value for money. For under 200 yuan, it's a solid choice for anyone needing a layover near the station or wanting to stay in the city center.

We arrived at the hotel a little after 1 AM. It opened in 2014, and you could immediately feel its age upon entering the lobby. However, its biggest advantage is its proximity to the train station – just a 100-meter turn to the left. Arriving in the early hours, we dropped off our luggage and grabbed a shared e-bike right outside. We were at Xiguan Night Market in literally 2 minutes – super convenient! We booked a room without breakfast and tried to see if we could get an upgrade to include it. The front desk staff firmly but politely said no, but they did upgrade our room type, which was a small consolation amidst the slight disappointment. We had an 8 AM train the next day, so we were really just looking for a transitional stay. I must praise the bathroom in our room; it was clearly recently renovated. Although the restroom on the ground floor lobby had a strong odor, our room's bathroom was perfectly fine. The shower had great water pressure, and a hot shower was incredibly refreshing, instantly washing away the day's fatigue. I wasn't initially planning to write a review, but the hotel called me to ask if I was satisfied and if I'd be willing to write an honest review if I was. I have to say, if they had upgraded us to include two breakfasts, my experience would have been absolutely perfect. Unfortunately, they didn't have the authority. I think sometimes fulfilling small requests can really boost goodwill with guests, but they were just sticking to the rules, so I can only give an objective review.

The room was clean and tidy, with good soundproofing, so I slept very peacefully. The staff were warm and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was calm and grand. The quality of this established hotel is truly top-notch, making for a comfortable and reassuring stay. It's an excellent accommodation choice when traveling to Nanning.
