HOTEL DORMY INN KOBE MOTOMACHI HOT SPRINGS

The hotel is easy to find, right next to the Nanjing Ding plaque. The alleyways nearby are full of food options, which is very convenient. The front desk staff speak both English and Chinese, so communication was not an issue at all. The hot spring has long opening hours, and there's a washer and dryer available, so you can check from your room when it's free before heading down. I've stayed at Dormy Inn several times, and I personally feel that as long as the location suits your needs, you can book blindly without worrying about a bad experience.

Extremely satisfied with this hotel! The room, though small, was incredibly clean. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, with the sink and toilet in separate areas. The hotel's hot spring was also excellent. They offered complimentary ramen in the evening and free Yakult in the morning. The breakfast included with the stay was also very good!

The hotel's shower facilities were excellent. Its location is right next to Nanjing Street, an 8-minute walk from Kobe's waterfront, and a 5-minute walk from Sannomiya Station, which offers access to various transportation options. However, the breakfast was quite mediocre, both in terms of variety and quality.

I visited during the annual Kobe Luminarie. It was very close to Meriken Park to see the light festival. After seeing the lights, I enjoyed a hot spring bath ♨️ and ate instant noodles 🍜.

The hot spring was very comfortable, and the location was also great. The amenities were pretty good too. The room wasn't very big but the layout was excellent, with the sleeping area separated from the washroom by a sliding door.
