Perfect location in a walkable tree-lined neighborhood, where there are lots of upscale restaurants and bars and cafes. The hotel isn’t the newest and could use a touch-up in places but very interesting design, cool artwork in the lobby, huge rooms. A couple machines for laundry and gym on top floor. Service at the reception was super helpful. Breakfast is in a restaurant that is a German beer place during the day and night. Selection is modest but sausages and delicious broth and noodles, the bread could have been more fresh. Would stay here again.

Ive been in china travelling for over a month. This hotel has been the best place ive stayed at all trip! Really cool entrance as the building is shared with a mushroom hotpot restaurant and the building is a historic courtyard style building. Location is right in the middle of the tourist district so very convinient to get around and lots of great restaurants The room i had had a beautiful tall wooden ceiling and everything was clean and modern. The service was also excellent. They were great communicating and sharing recommendations on wechat and even helped me with my load of laundry. Lastly, the vibe. I loved sitting in the courtyard library/study on the big comfy chairs to wind down the day. The property also has several very friendly and well cared for cats. A perfect home away from home feel. Honestly, the stay here has been a highlight in kunming for me and i cant wait till the next time im back.

We chose a two-bedroom suite with our family here. The hotel facilities are quite old overall, and we stayed for three or four days. It's an older hotel, and while you can still see its past glory and the essence of its design, the overall color scheme and facilities now feel dated. However, the front desk and butler service were excellent, almost always accommodating our requests. Overall, we were satisfied. The downstairs pool, kids' play area, and even the evening entertainment were all pretty good. The outdoor hot spring was our favorite part, but unfortunately, it rained, so we only got to go once.

I like the hotel's American retro style decoration, it looks very old-fashioned, and the furniture texture is good. The environment is clean and hygienic, the shower water temperature is comfortable, the water pressure is very comfortable, and the daily delivery of Yangledu snacks to protect the stomach during the journey is also very intimate. There are a lot of food and drink in the square next to it, not far from Nanping Street and Hang Lung in the old city, the price is beautiful, and the overall is very good

The hotel is located right by Dianchi Lake, with separate lanes for vehicles and pedestrians. There's an observation deck not far from the hotel, and it's about 800-900 meters to Haigeng Park and Haihong Wetland. However, you still have to walk further to get to the cable car station, and I estimate the dam is even further – I didn't go there. The hotel is 2.3 kilometers from Xingti Road Station on Metro Line 5. Our package included one complimentary drop-off service to the metro station, which was really good. It would be even better if they offered round-trip shuttle service to the metro for backpackers. However, there aren't many shops around the hotel. For dining, it's either the hotel restaurant or ordering takeout. Park 1903 Commercial Street is about 3 kilometers away, so it's more suitable if you have a car. The hotel service was excellent. The front desk staff, housekeeping, and drivers were all incredibly gentle and friendly. The manager even proactively helped us with our luggage. The hotel is quite understated; in fact, the observation deck not far away offers amazing sunrise views, but they never promote it.
