The location is extremely convenient, with direct access to the airport subway, and very close to Kunming Railway Station and the Old Street. A flower market and fruit market are within walking distance. MixC shopping mall is downstairs, offering a wide variety of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. The service was superb. Because the washing machine and water heater weren't working properly, they immediately purchased and replaced them. They replenished a sufficient amount of bottled water and toiletries for multiple people every day. Clothes washed the first night were dry by the next morning, allowing us to pack fewer changes of clothes. The room was great, perfect for families. A rare find was the air conditioning, which is uncommon in Kunming.

It was our first time visiting Kunming, and we chose to stay at this guesthouse villa with our family. Although there was a small hiccup upon arrival—our Didi driver wasn’t sure of the exact location and I didn’t have a local contact number—the staff quickly came to the rescue. The driver called the villa, and the friendly “Xiao Ge Ge” provided clear directions to help us find the place. Throughout our stay, Xiao Ge Ge was incredibly helpful, sharing recommendations for local attractions via WeChat and even patiently showing us how to enter and exit the main gate so we could explore the area freely. We also really enjoyed the warm breakfasts prepared by the kind “Ah Yi.” heartwarming noodles and porridge were delicious and made us feel right at home. Our rooms were clean, tidy, and exceeded our expectations in comfort, truly making our stay relaxing and pleasant. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a friendly, comfortable, and welcoming guesthouse villa experience in Kunming!

This was by far the BEST accommodation we stayed in China!! We booked two rooms because I'm travelling with my sister and her boyfriend. Both rooms were extremely clean, the best comfortable beds ever, hot shower, air con, all the toiletries were good quality and the staff were amazing!!!! They helped us out with everything!! Even though they don't speak English or any other language (like elsewhere in China), they were extremely helpful and we managed to communicate with the translator. We stayed two nights but we would have loved to stay longer which was not possible because visa's expiring soon. When we got there, they made us delicious noodles with beef and vegetables and my brother in law is still dreaming to get the same tasty noodles somewhere else in China 😊 We don't know the names of the hosts, maybe they are wife and husband (we are not sure) but surely this was the top accommodation and treatment we have received in China so we would like to thank you two again for everything you have done for us. We are sure your next guests will enjoy their stay at your place just the same as we did. Thank you from Sarah, Myriam and Fabio.

Our stay at this guesthouse was the best we had during our trip around China. What made our stay so special was definitely the warm welcome we received from the owners. They made us feel immediately at home and upon our arrival they let us join a family dinner where we had the best home cooked food. I would definitely recommend this place and I will go here again if I visit Kunming in the future.

One of my favourite hostels of all time, and completely unexpected too. This is a REAL traveller hostel operated by attentive, kind and cultured staff who have great taste in music! It's only a 5 minute walk from Kunming main station and is situated in a quiet area with all necessities nearby. Would recommend 100%
