Tianshiduoqing1982This place is truly a hidden gem! We booked the 'Jue' room, and it was much larger than it appeared in the pictures. It even had a private outdoor hot spring in the courtyard. The massage was incredibly relaxing, and both breakfast and afternoon tea were excellent. The service was outstanding, with staff always ready to help with anything we needed. A special shout-out to the front desk lady – she was not only beautiful but also incredibly kind and attentive. We'll definitely find a reason to come back and stay here again!

Anonymous UserThe hotel lobby is beautifully designed and grand, with a distinct Southeast Asian flair. The rooms are quite spacious and well-equipped. We were traveling with our 2-year-old, so the kids' play area was incredibly useful, and there was a fire show in the evening. The best part was definitely the delicious breakfast. Dianchi Lake is nearby; we took a taxi with our little one to ride the cable car, which was very convenient and not tiring at all. I'd highly recommend this hotel to any out-of-town friends visiting Kunming. P.S. The only minor drawback is that the rooms are a bit dated, but it didn't really bother us.

It is definitely more wedding venue, more local oriented, very nice territory around, good for photoshoot and stuff , nice and friendly staff helped me a lot, but it was a bit confusing in general, like i booked it cause of hotsprings and outdoor pool, turns out you cannot use the outdoor pool and from all hot things was working only one stone bath. So basically we ended up in a very strange situation when 3 groups of people have or to wait in line to that bath or seat on each other. However Indoor pool was nice, big and clean, but bring your towel. The room itself is ...let's say not cosy and a lot reminded a changing room, probably cause of sink right next to the bed. So sum up, good place to have fun, massage, spa say, nice photos and so on, but maybe not a best place to stay for tourist.

I ordered takeout, but the hotel doesn't allow the deliveryman to deliver to the room because it was inconvenient for me, so I asked the front desk for help, and it was delivered to the room very quickly. When I asked the reason, the front desk guy told me that it was for the safety of the guests that the deliveryman was not allowed to go upstairs. The hotel has trained guests that if they need takeout to the room, they can help deliver it. The overall feeling of the hotel is good, and the service attitude is very good. When I checked in, I asked about the surrounding attractions and routes, and they explained it very patiently. The room internet connection was very fast, and I asked the waiter, who told me that each room has an independent dedicated line. The room feels clean, and you can swim, exercise, and take a hot spring bath. Since I had a lot of fun, I didn't have time to take a few photos of the hotel. I will take more photos after I check in next time.

Guest UserHighly recommend! I really loved it – the environment is beautiful, and the staff are very enthusiastic. I'd definitely go back if I have the chance. They thoroughly clean the hot spring pools, which is great; it would be even better if it wasn't boiler water.

The hotel is located right by Dianchi Lake, with separate lanes for vehicles and pedestrians. There's an observation deck not far from the hotel, and it's about 800-900 meters to Haigeng Park and Haihong Wetland. However, you still have to walk further to get to the cable car station, and I estimate the dam is even further – I didn't go there. The hotel is 2.3 kilometers from Xingti Road Station on Metro Line 5. Our package included one complimentary drop-off service to the metro station, which was really good. It would be even better if they offered round-trip shuttle service to the metro for backpackers.
However, there aren't many shops around the hotel. For dining, it's either the hotel restaurant or ordering takeout. Park 1903 Commercial Street is about 3 kilometers away, so it's more suitable if you have a car.
The hotel service was excellent. The front desk staff, housekeeping, and drivers were all incredibly gentle and friendly. The manager even proactively helped us with our luggage.
The hotel is quite understated; in fact, the observation deck not far away offers amazing sunrise views, but they never promote it.

I traveled after the Spring Festival, and the room was newly renovated, very clean, and the facilities were also new. The garden outside the hotel is beautiful, making it a top choice for a vacation in Kunming. Plus, the hotel is very close to Haigang Park, where you can enjoy the unique experience of feeding seagulls. There's also a lake inside the hotel with seagulls, though perhaps fewer in number. It's an excellent hotel that offers a quiet escape in a bustling area. Overall, I highly recommend it.

YibierbigenhaosanThe private hot spring at the hotel was fantastic! It's so peaceful staying in the mountains. I'm not sure if it was because I booked through Trip.com, but they put me in the room furthest back, and I couldn't see anything from the balcony except trees. Overall, aside from the hotel facilities being a bit old, the service was good. The electric shuttle was always available when called, and the food was incredibly good value for money – pretty decent. We didn't go to the public hot springs because it was a holiday and too crowded, so we just used the one in our room. Overall, I'd recommend it to discerning travelers. If only the view from the private hot spring balcony stretched further, I'd give it a perfect score. I wonder if the rooms closer to the front are more expensive?

Guest UserStaying overnight at Manshui Residence felt like stumbling into a secluded paradise. The courtyard lanterns were charmingly scattered, casting a soft glow on the stone path, while the dense bamboo grove rustled in the evening breeze, creating a blend of Zen and romance. Inside, the perfect fusion of natural wood and new Chinese-style decor, with calligraphy paintings and warm yellow table lamps, exuded elegance. The attention to detail truly showcased quality, from the thoughtful and comfortable Dyson hairdryer to the soft, sleep-inducing bedding. My favorite spot was the rattan chair in the courtyard, where I enjoyed a solitary drink amidst the floral scent and night breeze – pure relaxation. Dwelling here not only relieved the fatigue of my journey but was also a soul-healing escape. Full marks, definitely worth a second visit!

Guest UserThe hotel facilities and environment are excellent, very clean, and the bedding and bathroom amenities are high quality. The hotel service is great, thoughtful and attentive; they proactively contacted me to provide useful information for my stay. Due to a change in plans, I needed to shorten my stay from three days to one, and the front desk staff were very friendly and patiently helped me adjust the reservation. Breakfast was abundant and offered a wide variety of choices. The '188 Mushroom Hot Pot' set meal, ordered as a main course, was incredible value for money. There was so much food, my group was shocked when it arrived – even bigger portions than Northeastern Chinese cuisine, and the flavor was exceptionally fresh and delicious.
