Guest UserThis isn't my first time in Haikou, and I absolutely love this tranquil city and its relaxed vibe. This stay at Sofitel Haikou was exceptional, outshining the hotel I stayed at last year in terms of facilities, room cleanliness, and overall service quality. I specifically booked a sea-view room, and the ocean view from the window was absolutely stunning and delightful.
I particularly want to commend the hotel's service: when I went to the front desk to get my room card in the evening, the receptionist was incredibly enthusiastic and proactively recommended some local, lesser-known fishing villages and specialty foods. We followed her recommendations and were amazed by the beautiful coastal scenery. Throughout our entire stay, every staff member we encountered was diligent and responsible, meticulously addressing all our needs. The attention to detail in their service was impeccable.
I've already recommended this hotel to my friends, and it will definitely be my top choice again on my next visit to Haikou. The accompanying photos are actual views from the guest room.

Wangsibo711We originally booked for two nights, but the kids had such a blast that we extended our stay for three more! The breakfast and dinner buffets offered a fantastic variety, and the lounge service was excellent. Every afternoon, the kids loved going to the recreation area for crafts and swimming – they had such a great time! A big thank you to all the staff in the recreation department; the pool staff were incredibly responsible, and the kids absolutely adored the craft activities. And a special shout-out to our butler, Jenny – she was super responsive to any questions we had, always getting back to us immediately. The kids can't wait to come back and stay here again next month when we return to Haikou!

Landed in Haikou, and this was our first night in Hainan. The welcoming staff member was very polite and actively helped us with our luggage. Check-in was on the 43rd floor, in the clouds – and I have to say, the elevator was incredibly fast.
The driver told us the location is in Haikou's busiest downtown area, right across from MixC Mall, making dining and shopping super convenient.
The room was spacious with a pleasant view outside the window. The decor was British palace style, with full-length mirrors everywhere, perfect for girls to take OOTD photos. There was also a bathtub in the room, but we didn't use it. The pool was open until 10 PM, so we quickly went to experience it after 9. The water temperature was just right, and there was a lifeguard on duty the whole time. The only thing was that underwater visibility was a bit low at night. There was also a small sauna room.
Overall, I really liked it and would definitely come back if I have the chance.

Guest UserThe new Chinese palace-style at Haikou Marriott is incredibly photogenic! The ocean view rooms on West Coast are absolutely stunning; wake up and open the window to a beautiful blue sea and sky. The outdoor pool is surrounded by swaying palm trees, and the private beach is clean and uncrowded. The Hainan noodles with freshly squeezed coconut juice for breakfast were excellent, and the service was warm and efficient. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the old city, so having a car is more convenient. The front desk staff were very welcoming and check-in was fast. It's also convenient for dining and getting around. Our butler, Fiona, was very attentive and arranged everything perfectly.

Guest UserThe hotel is surrounded by tons of restaurants, so you'll have endless dining options. All the in-room appliances work perfectly. Plus, there's an incredibly delicious coconut chicken restaurant right behind the hotel, less than 100 meters away – a must-try if you stay here!
The room facilities and housekeeping are top-notch. The cleaning is meticulous, and everything is tidied up neatly. The staff are very polite. The buffet breakfast on the 33rd floor is abundant, delicious, and offers a wide variety of choices.
The Guest Relations assistant even added me on WeChat during my stay, which was super convenient as they were always responsive to my requests.
Overall, the hotel environment is quiet and upscale. This is definitely my go-to hotel when traveling.

I’d been looking at this hotel for a while and finally booked it. It’s definitely a great option for families. What really stood out was the swimming pool, which is divided into several areas, and that’s fantastic! One area has a large water slide and operates from 1-5 PM on weekdays. On Saturdays and Sundays, it's open in the morning too. Then there’s a diving pool perfect for younger kids that opens at 8:30 AM, which is great for an early dip. And finally, there's a lap pool with lanes. So, it really caters to a variety of needs, which I found excellent.
The butler service was also top-notch. They checked in daily to see if we needed anything or had any issues, and they were always quick to resolve them. Plus, when our flight was delayed today, they proactively offered a late checkout until 3 PM. We didn't actually need it, but the fact that they offered without us asking shows how thoughtful and great they are.
The hotel also offers a travel photoshoot with 5 free photos. If you’re good at photography yourself, you can just pick those 5. Their photographers do a good job too. However, considering how hot it was, I felt a bit bad for the photographer, so I ended up choosing 5 extra photos. They even gave me one more for free, but the price wasn't cheap; 6 photos cost 200 RMB. Overall, it’s still a good deal. If you’re confident in your own photography skills, just choosing the 5 free ones is perfectly fine. They don't force you to spend extra; it's all optional, which is great.

Yangguangyuhai233Overall, my stay was incredibly satisfying. My kids absolutely loved the children's play area and the outdoor water park. The hotel staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, taking great care of us. I'd especially like to commend Rebecca and Justin from the front office department. They truly reminded me of Hilton's consistently high service standards, delivering service that exceeded expectations even though the hotel was very busy these past two days due to a Latin dance competition. I will definitely choose Hilton again for my next stay. I highly recommend Hilton Haikou Greentown; it's the top choice for families with children.

lovxingThe hotel's location is fantastic, right on Wanghai Road, stepping out directly onto the beachfront. There are many unique restaurants and cafes nearby, making it an excellent spot for watching the sunset. The rooms come with private hot springs and offer great privacy. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Guest UserA hotel with unique South Asian style, warm service, stunning scenery, comfortable hot springs, and private beach 🏖️, you can’t get enough of it after just one glance! I have never dreamed of going there again, and I have the idea of retiring and living here forever! There is such a beautiful place in the world! Love it, love it! Will definitely go again and relive the dream!
What is particularly worth mentioning is that while we were in the hotel, we encountered Typhoon Capricorn, the largest typhoon in history. The hotel staff repeatedly warned us to pay attention to safety. The leader of the local tourism bureau (Deputy Director Cai Fuxiong) also mobilized me to move to the city center many times. And before the typhoon came, he drove my family of three to a hotel in the city center in the wind and rain. Special thanks! I think it was thanks to Deputy Director Cai, otherwise the consequences would be serious. I originally booked five nights, but only stayed for two. It was not enough! Looking forward to seeing you again!

This stay was a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent, close to Xiuying Port. The community environment is beautiful, with lots of greenery. The receptionist was quick to process the check-in and provided excellent service. The upgrade to a sea view room offered a stunning nighttime view. It was great value for money!
