"The service attitude is quite good, and the house is ok to live in. However, some sofa cushions have signs of being burned by cigarette butts (replacement is recommended), the location of the sockets in the room is rather ”strange”, and an additional power strip may be needed. In addition, there are undried water stains under the stools in the room (perhaps left over from cleaning?). In addition, I still hope that the check-in system can be more rigorous. After all, it is a bit scary to be pressed by other guests in the middle of the night. 😭"

RRichman wuOn a business trip to Haikou, I saw this hotel had great reviews online, so I decided to book it. The front desk staff was very polite and arranged a spacious room on a high floor for me in advance, based on my request. I was very satisfied with the room; the mattress comfort completely exceeded my expectations. It wasn't just soft or hard, but adapted to my body's curves. Checkout was also quick, and they promptly prepared the invoice. The service here truly meets international five-star standards. I'll definitely stay here again on my next business trip.

CCurlygirl_travelsFirst off, all staff are so polite and welcoming! They will smile and greet you, from the moment you exit your ride to the pool area where you can go soak in the hot spring. I really enjoyed my stay here, it was extremely peaceful and quiet, I’m sure peak season might be different though. The beach across the road is lovely to sit by and the sand is clean. I enjoyed my breakfast and thanks to Ernest for helping me with check in, and allowing me to split my booking so I could get buffet dinners since I had no partner checking in with me. He was welcoming and explained everything well in English, thank you to Megan for answering my questions and updating my buffet code and Prima for the swift check out. I hope to come again here, while the hotel is a little old now they make up for in service. The housekeeping staff does a great job and cleans the basin and the room is spotless when you come back! The only complaint I have is that the tv has 1 English Channel and that switches to Japanese movies sometimes. At the buffet dinner, the manager helped me choose a hot pot of my choice, and showed me where to get everything, the second time she brought me a plate of the soup of the day, she was so kind and lovely, I didn’t catch her name but I have to say thank you to her aswell. Breakfast is delicious and there’s a variety of whatever you like. Desserts are divine!! The hotsprings are lovely in chilly February and there’s an indoor pool too. Thank you for the lovely stay and happy New year! 🐍

MM784981****My experience at the Haikou Marriott Hotel was absolutely perfect! The space was bright and spacious, with an elegant and cozy layout. The floor-to-ceiling windows and large balcony offered panoramic city and sea views. The bedding was comfortable, and the facilities were complete. They even turned on the dehumidifier for me in advance – every little detail reflected quality. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The location is excellent, making travel very convenient. It's an ideal choice whether for business trips or leisure vacations. Especially noteworthy was the warm reception from our butler, Serena. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance!

LLuoluoxueyuanThis hotel is beautifully situated right by the sea, offering a truly serene and picturesque setting. What's more, the value for money during our summer vacation stay was exceptional. The rooms are great, and there are two swimming pools along with dedicated water play facilities for children. There's a wide range of activities available, so you could easily spend a whole day here without needing to leave the hotel. The ocean is just across the road, and it's super convenient to grab coconuts and other local refreshing treats right by the beach. The only minor drawback is that items at the hotel's mini-mart are quite pricey, even more expensive than what you'd find in a mountaintop shop. I hope the hotel considers improving this; while a slight markup is understandable, it shouldn't unnecessarily detract from their overall image. Overall, it's definitely worth staying and highly recommended.

Its beachfront location is a must-have for a seaside stay. Good service, to me, means not being intrusive normally, but always being there with warm, thoughtful help when needed. Joan knew we had dined and had some drinks, so she thoughtfully brought us some honey water, which was incredibly considerate. This will definitely be my first choice for future business trips and vacations.

GGuest UserEverything else is good, but the room facilities are too simple! It's ok that there is no refrigerator or cooker. There is not even a washing machine. What's more embarrassing is that there is no place to hang the clothes after washing! Double hot spring: It's real, but I didn't have time to experience it, which is a pity!

GGuest UserThe location was not ideal for the purpose of my vacation. It was difficult to determine from the online information available, if there was a beach nearby. There wasn’t. It was also frustrating that the swimming pool was closed given that there was not swimming beach nearby. There is a supposed to be a spa in the hotel but it was no longer available. A fitness room still exists and looked well equipped. Aside from this, the staff were friendly and a couple of the staff spoke enough English to take care of my needs. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the cleaning staff did an excellent job of cleaning my room. It was convenient to have laundry facilities in the room given that my stay was 14 days long. If you’re in Haikou for business, then I give this hotel high marks. I was on vacation so it wasn’t the ideal hotel.

I have never dreamed of going there again, and I have the idea of retiring and living here forever! There is such a beautiful place in the world! Love it, love it! Will definitely go again and relive the dream! What is particularly worth mentioning is that while we were in the hotel, we encountered Typhoon Capricorn, the largest typhoon in history. The hotel staff repeatedly warned us to pay attention to safety. The leader of the local tourism bureau (Deputy Director Cai Fuxiong) also mobilized me to move to the city center many times. And before the typhoon came, he drove my family of three to a hotel in the city center in the wind and rain. Special thanks! I think it was thanks to Deputy Director Cai, otherwise the consequences would be serious. I originally booked five nights, but only stayed for two. It was not enough! Looking forward to seeing you again!
