"We had one bedroom loft. Plenty of spaces for kids to run around. The wood burning fireplace in the living room is cozy and feels like home. The view was amazing- snowy mountain peak, and saw wild animals right in front of your balcony while having breakfast. We were here for the kids' hockey tournament. 8 mins drive to the hockey rink . Not a walking distance. We will come back in summer and try the trail nearby. The swimming pool was small and the water was cold but the kids seemed to be ok."

It’s an okay place to stay if you value location and cleanliness, but it doesn’t quite offer the extras you might expect at this price point."

Location-wise, it's at the end of Banff town, which is convenient for getting around without traffic. There's a breakfast bar next to the main bar where you can order food for an additional cost. The elevator doesn't require a key card, which feels like a security risk. One morning, a Black man knocked on my door and wouldn't speak when I asked who it was, which was quite unsettling."

"The price was reasonable, and it wasn't far from the downtown core compared to other hotels, which made it easy to get to souvenir shops and supermarkets. Parking wasn't super spacious, but there was always a spot available. There's a gas station right next door, so it was convenient to fill up before parking if you had a rental or your own car. The front desk is in the building right next door, and checking in and out was a breeze. The best part was that the deposit refund was processed immediately. It was a huge relief not having to constantly monitor whether I'd get my deposit back, which is often a source of stress on trips. That was definitely the highlight."

"A delightful surprise – we spent two pleasant nights in this cozy little cabin. The room was clean and tidy, the kitchen and living room were combined, the bedroom was larger than I expected, and the bedding was very comfortable. There was heating, and the fireplace was usable; we asked the staff to start a fire for us. There was a microwave and an induction cooker, as well as basic kitchen utensils, so we went to the supermarket to buy groceries and cooked our own dinner. In the evening, we saw deer grazing on the lawn downstairs. The hotel has its own hot tub, but it's quite small, and we were too tired to use it. The staff were very welcoming, although the old-fashioned door locks weren't very reliable."
