"The location was good, and it was fine for a solo male traveler. There was a cooking area where you could prepare meals, and basic seasonings were provided. Looking at the interior photos, there's even a separate room with a door where women slept together, which made it less inconvenient (though I didn't exclusively sleep in there myself, of course). If you're traveling alone to Banff, it's very cost-effective to buy groceries from the nearby IGA supermarket and cook your own meals, which many people do."

"It is a pleasant hotel with regular amenities. The beds are comfortable and the view out the windows is spectacular towards the Bow River. Unfortunately there was a shouting match between a couple from 1am-3:40am the second night as the walls do not muffle the sound as well as we would have liked. So very tired the next day or so, but the front desk said they have security on 24 hours and we should have called. Some of the items in the rooms are quaint and that's ok - they are small rooms, but we spent most of our time out in Banff or skiing, Overall they worked out."

A Few Considerations: Noise Levels: As some other travelers have noted, the walls are a bit thin. I could occasionally hear activity in the hallways and the hum of the heating system, though it didn't ruin my sleep. Parking: The underground parking is a great perk (especially to keep the snow off the car), but it is limited and quite tight. If you’re arriving late in the evening during peak season, you might have to hunt for a spot. Room Vibe: The rooms are clean and functional, but they do feel a bit ”classic.” If you are looking for ultra-modern luxury, this isn't it—but for a cozy, budget-friendly mountain base, it hits the mark.
