I recently traveled to Banff with six friends and stayed in a family room at the Moxy Hotel. Overall, it was a great experience! The room was spacious, with a youthful and vibrant design, perfect for friends or small groups. The atmosphere was great! 👍
However, one minor drawback was the lack of a door lock in the bathroom, which might be slightly inconvenient for larger groups. I hope the hotel can improve this in the future.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend it to anyone traveling with friends!

Anonymous UserThis hotel is located at the far end of Banff Avenue, about a 20-minute walk from downtown. There are two parking options: you can choose to pay for parking in their lot, or use the free parking spaces behind the hotel. The room was comfortable, but the sink was a bit clogged, so the drainage wasn't very smooth. The breakfast was delicious. Overall, it was a good stay.

Great room with plenty of space and a comfortable bed. The balcony offers a stunning mountain vista that feels incredibly open and airy. Bonus: the hot pool is included with the stay!👍

Beautiful hotel. Great location. 5-10 min walk from everything. We needed to clean the tea/coffee amenities and wipe down the table ourselves but no big deal. We booked a superior 2 queen room - all these types of room are all on the first floor. You should make sure to request facing inside, not outside towards the street. No view but it's quiet. Others complain about noise/privacy if facing the street on the 1st floor. One pool was closed for renovation and blocking some of the view from the roof.

Pros: Extremely good location. They have an attached restaurant and cafe right next to the hotel. Very clean facilities. Rooms spacious and has nice views of the town. Staff always very polite and helpful in giving recommendations and allowing us to use the telephone. Able to store bags there after checking out as well.
Cons: no safe provided in the room
Highly recommend staying here!

Guest UserI stayed in the 6 person female dorm, room is large vs Europe, but there are no lifts, so you need to carry 1 floor or 2 floors up. Breakfast is quite average, only limited selections, and can get packed as it’s usually a bar. The shower in the dorm is together with the toilet, so can get busy in the am. The shower is blocked with hair so water goes down slowly, other than that, I feel staff are nice, good location, I don’t have anything else to suggest

Guest UserThe RCL was a complete surprise to me the junior suite was recently updated and was amazing, so much space with a great fireplace, large comfortable bed, attractive furnishings, coffee, fridge, ironing board, lovely robes and a swimming pool and steam room with little gym plus free apples and flavoured water in reception, would definitely stay again. Plus the only downside was the underground parking which costs $20 per night
