Great
QQingegeI stayed for three nights. The room was quite spacious and clean, and it was great that it came with amenities like a kettle. The location was a bit average, right at the end of the town's main street, but I figured there wasn't much to explore in town anyway, so it wasn't a big deal. The front desk service was quite poor; the staff were expressionless. The first room they gave me was two floors above the hot spring pools. I wanted to change, but the front desk said there were no suitable rooms. After Ctrip intervened, they offered me another room, but I declined after seeing it was too noisy, being next to the road. Around 9 PM, after showering, it suddenly became very noisy. I realized a group of Indians had come to the hot springs and were playing music loudly from a speaker. I reported it to Ctrip twice, but it kept happening. The hotel then called me multiple times, offering to immediately switch my room (implying the speaker wasn't theirs, but they weren't doing anything about it). Since I was already asleep, I declined and agreed to switch the next day. I'd like to thank Ctrip customer service for their help here. I didn't fancy a Western breakfast, so for convenience, I just ordered à la carte coffee and toast from the hotel's ground floor, which turned out to be delicious! The price wasn't expensive either, highly recommended! The hotel's bedding felt a bit rough, and the air conditioning unit made a loud humming noise. These are areas that could definitely be improved.

GGuest UserOverall evaluation This stay was great. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, the facilities were complete, and the service was very thoughtful. Advantages 1. Environment: The room was quiet and the surrounding environment was clean and tidy. 2. Facilities: The equipment was complete, and the air conditioner, TV, hot water, etc. could all be used normally. 3. Service: The front desk service attitude was good, and the check-in and check-out procedures were all

AAnjingTracySurprising cabin, we had a pleasant 2 nights here. The room was clean and tidy, the kitchen and living room were together, the bedroom was bigger than expected, and the bedding was very comfortable. There is heating, the fireplace can also be used, we asked the staff to help us make the fire. There are microwave ovens and induction cookers, simple kitchen utensils, we went to the supermarket to buy ingredients and made dinner by ourselves. In the evening, there was a deer eating grass on the lawn downstairs. The hotel has its own soup pool, which is very small, we are too tired to go soak. The staff is very welcoming and the old-fashioned door lock is not very easy to use.

JJoseph Eduard Larano IIIWe had an incredible stay at Tunnel Mountain Resort in Banff. From the moment we checked in, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely eager to make our experience memorable. The property itself feels tucked away in the trees, offering peace and quiet while still being just a few minutes from downtown Banff. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy, with a rustic mountain vibe that fit perfectly with the surroundings. I especially loved the fireplace—it made evenings feel warm and relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchenette was well-equipped, which was a nice bonus for preparing meals. The views from the resort are stunning. Waking up to the fresh mountain air and seeing the Rockies right outside my window was unforgettable. On-site amenities like the hot tub and pool added to the experience, especially after long hikes. What stood out most was the balance between comfort and nature. It felt like having a private cabin in the mountains but with all the convenience of a resort. I’d highly recommend Tunnel Mountain Resort for couples, families, or anyone wanting a true Banff escape. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation, comfort, and breathtaking scenery—I’m already looking forward to coming back!

GGuest UserExcellent location in Banff! Near stores and restaurants with awesome views around. Very friendly staff too. The room itself was quite clean except that as soon as we entered, there were flies including fruit flies… Other than that, the room was big and warm. It had a keep safe too. The washroom was quite small, it was hard to close the door but it worked out.

GGuest UserA beautiful and super convenient place to stay if you want to be close to Banff Town. We really enjoyed relaxing in the heated pool, hot tub, and dry sauna - it was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring. The family suite came with a lot of great perks: having our own kitchenette made it easy to cook meals and having two bathrooms was a big plus for four people- it made the say much more comfortable. The only suggestion I'd make is to give the stove's ventilation hood a deep clean - it looked like it could use a bit of attention. Other than that, I'd definitely recommend this place to others. Great value and a great stay!

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located near the entrance, and the parking situation is very good. If you can’t find parking on-site, you can also use the underground parking at the neighboring hotel. Although my English isn’t very good and I made a few mistakes, the staff were kind, patient, and very helpful. I really appreciated their friendliness.

LLai HengOverall, it is a good stay in Banff. Walking distance to the mail street. There is one thing that can be improved, you can only go to the basement carpark after you check in at the counter. However, there is no space around the hotel front to temporarily park your car while you check in.

GGuest UserThe front desk was very accommodating and approachable. They were organized as there are lists of what we can do and how we can go there. There’s also a free shuttle we could use so accessing public transport was not a problem. However, when we went in the hotel room there was some trash left in the trash can. It’s not much of a problem but it kind of reflects to their housekeeping system in a way. Generally, it was clean. Another concern was that they told us we will receive the security deposit after 5-10 days but we weren’t able to get it. I’ll try to contact them about it but they told us before we left that it was already processed (this was December 18) and until now (December 26) we are still waiting.

DDave van KampenWe were happy with this place. It seems dated but in nice repair (much like our home and ourselves). We wanted it mostly for the fireplace but the room had more than that with a full kitchen and full size appliances. If we ever wanted to be in Banff and make substantial home cooked food, this would be ideal. The bed was great and the staff very kind and friendly. It is in a natural mountain area just five minutes by car from downtown Banff. We had a balcony looking at a Mountain view and deer in the yard in front of the unit. There is bus service into town and free tickets offered by the resort. There is a water slide and an indoor and outdoor hot tub which is nice but not really a breathtaking setting. If you enjoy corn mazes this building has a lot of routing in it that takes a while to learn. We joked with other guests about that. All in all, pretty okay. We would book here again.
