"The location was great, and the entrance and common areas were clean. You can borrow hair dryers and kettles from the entrance. Also, unusually for a hostel, bath towels are provided free of charge.
Here are the things that bothered me:
In the 6-person room, it was inconvenient that the bathroom and toilet weren't separate. There's no separate bathroom outside the room, so you should expect waiting times.
When I arrived, both elevators weren't working, and I had to carry heavy luggage up to the 4th floor via the stairs.
Beds are not assigned in advance. I checked in around 10 PM, and only one top bunk was available, and there was a clearly used bath towel on it. The bedding was also a bit messy.
Since you get your own bath towel at the front desk when checking in, I assume someone in the same room moved to a bottom bunk. Because there's no assignment, it makes moving around possible.
I ended up having to sleep on an uncleaned bed, but I didn't have the energy to go up and down the stairs to the 4th floor again, so I just gave up.
While you could say I just had bad luck, it's something that could happen again due to the system."

Amazing
YYvan LNAmazing hotel in the very center of Lisbon. Location is right in the middle of the Bairro Alto. Hotel is walking distance to vista points on the old town, trams and many restaurants nearby. Rooftop restaurant and bar is highly recommended for breakfast or to have a glass at sunset watching colors changing on the roofs of the old town. Unforgettable.

UUrban VoyagerWe had a great stay at Moon & Sun Hotel in Lisbon. If you’re looking for a centrally located hotel that’s perfect for exploring the city, this is an excellent choice. The location is ideal—within walking distance of major attractions, great restaurants, and public transport, making it easy to discover Lisbon without needing a Taxi/Uber/Bolt.
The rooms are modern, stylish, and spotlessly clean. While they are on the smaller side, they’re perfect for travelers who want a comfortable place to rest after a full day of sightseeing. If you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring the city rather than lounging in your room, this hotel offers great value for money.
The service was outstanding. The front desk staff spoke fluent English and provided excellent recommendations for places to visit and eat. They were also very accommodating—when I requested a different pillow for better comfort, they replaced it immediately, and when we asked for mint to be brought to our room, they did so at no extra charge. Small gestures like these really made us feel welcome.
Overall, Moon & Sun Hotel was exactly what we were looking for—clean, comfortable, and centrally located, with a high level of service. It’s a great option for couples or anyone who wants to explore Lisbon with ease while staying in a well-priced, stylish hotel. We would definitely stay here again!

SS ss (Wanderer)Hotel Florentine was a bit of a mixed bag for me. This was a very last-minute booking and apparently I snagged the last available room — which, in hindsight, may explain a few things. I had specifically requested a quiet room, but unfortunately ended up with the exact opposite. The walls were paper-thin, and I could hear just about every sound and life update happening next door. Having the elevator directly across from my room added an extra soundtrack I hadn’t exactly asked for.
Dinner at the bistro also tested my patience a little. The team genuinely seemed to be trying hard, and I want to give special credit to one lovely server who was clearly doing her absolute best to keep everything afloat. Still, the service flow was puzzling — my drink and water arrived long after I had already finished my meal, while tables that arrived after me were somehow served before I was. It felt less like a dining system and more like a surprise social experiment.
The food itself was fine, nothing particularly memorable, but the location is undeniably excellent and probably the hotel’s strongest feature. With a few operational improvements — and perhaps some thicker walls — this place could really shine.

GGuest UserVery good and clean hotel, but they don’t provide a kettle inside the room, so gotta go to the lobby if you want hot water. I love the vibes - it’s good for solo travellers. Room is spacious enough. Location is very good, but careful not to travel out too late at night, this area is close to a migrant area where the crowds can get a little scary for lone lady travellers.

Ppygroundspacious, aesthetic, and perfect for a solo trip, but a few things to note.
The room itself is gorgeous. It has this modern boho/woody vibe with warm tones, sage walls, hints of gold, and lots of natural light from the balcony. Waking up here was honestly such a nice experience. The balcony is a big plus too, although the furniture is quite basic and could be upgraded.
Layout-wise, everything made sense (especially the TV directly facing the bed — finally!). However, the TV connection was quite slow and frustrating, so I ended up just using my phone.
Location is good if you don’t mind walking — around 20–30 minutes into central Lisbon. There are loads of cafés nearby though, which was super convenient. I highly recommend Fauna & Flora (Anjos) for brunch — really cute spot and great food. They take walk-ins :)
Only thing I didn’t love was the PIN entry system. You have to type it multiple times (enter building, going up the lift, enter room) and it’s very visible, which made me a bit uneasy as a solo traveller. It's super easy though !!
The mini fridge was also super minimally stocked, so don’t rely on it. On the plus side, tea/coffee facilities, toiletries, and plenty of towels are provided.
The apartment itself is very quiet and peaceful — I barely heard anyone else, which made it feel like my own private space. Barely saw anyone, felt like I had the place to myself.
Overall: a comfortable and stylish stay with great nearby cafés. A few small improvements would make it perfect, but I would definitely stay again.

GGuest UserSuper fun! The staff are very friendly. The whole hotel and rooms are whimsical and fun. Excellent location right on pink street. The windows are triple thick and the noise is minimal at best. There were complimentary ear buds but we didn't even need them. We really enjoyed out stay and hope to come back again soon!

SSamya16I booked this hotel cause it a close location to many things around in Lisbon. While it is not a fancy hotel, it serves well for solo travellers and families. The room was very spacious and the AC worked well. The cleaning service came every day and left the room clean and fresh. Breakfast was included with our stay, and it was a usual hotel breakfast. You could pick from hot items such as scrambled eggs and meat products like beans and sausage or bacon. On one day they also had mushrooms. Then of course the bread variety and some pastry items such as croissant and muffins. Cheeses, yoghurt and fruits as well cereals were available. Eating breakfast at 10 AM usually filled us up for the day and we hardly ate lunch outside. The staff was friendly and when we requested an iron they provided that with no problem. The room had a small safe for valuables when we left for the day and plenty of storage space for the clothes and suit cases. The bathroom was very nice as well, lots of counter space and even a clothing line across the tub to hang some items to dry if you had to was a shirt or socks. The hotel is located across small soccer practice field so from our balcony we could watch people play some soccer games. Be advised the hotel is very close to the airport (about 10 min) so there was noise from planes but hardly noticeable. During our stay, 2 of the main elevators broke and were not usable but luckily we were on the second floor so taking the stairs was easy but they do have other elevators available. And for anyone not looking to leave the hotel for lunch or dinner, they provide plenty of dishes in their restaurant and bar area. But just a few steps around that area, you will find great places to eat such a Turkish restaurant with a 10 page menu I highly recommend to try.

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at thisserviced apartment hotel in Lisbon and had a very pleasant experience. The location was excellent, close to public transportation, restaurants, and many of the city’s main attractions. The apartment itself was clean, modern, and well-equipped, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a small kitchen and a spacious living area.
Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the reliable Wi-Fi, which made it easy to relax or get some work done.
Overall, this was a great place to stay, offering both the comfort of a home and the convenience of a hotel. I would definitely consider staying here again the next time I visit Lisbon.

SSefy LevyThis hostel is located about 3km walk from the center city, but does have some close by attractions (such as the Jeronimo's Monetary)
The room is extremely small, if you seat on the edge of the bed and try to stretch your legs, you'll most likely hit the wall.
We had our room replaced, as the first room had zero privacy for the toilet and the second room gave the illusion of privacy (as you can see in photos)
We've not seen any of the management, as everything is done thru WhatsApp to contact them and they will respond.
Breakfast was OK, it had a bit of choices but there was more cakes and cookies then actual food.
