Room was lovely and the central courtyard had a lovely calming feel with trees and birds. Food was a bit average, but plenty of good nearby local restaurants serving excellent traditional delicious Portuguese food! Breakfast was good. Really lovely hotel and highly recommended! José Silva our Transfer driver who also provided a fantastic chauffeur driven day out with fabulous lunch is the best ambassador the Hotel could ask for and is to be very highly recommended! To the management- serve simpler and tastier traditional Portuguese food rather than clever European hotel food and your hotel will be perfect! Otherwise overall 10/10 and definitely worth a second visit!

Friends who have not seen for many years in September have come to Europe for vacation from Beijing and the United States. We met in Lisbon. I know that I have been in Madrid for more than 20 years and have done a lot of defense. I just stayed at this five-star hotel and settled in the hotel. After a few minutes, the coffee shop was set up with a trap to take away the entire schoolbag. The loss, identity documents, bank cards, medical cards, transportation cards, mobile phones, and money were all stolen, causing confusion in life and work. The rare friends' gatherings were overshadowed, and since then, various false mails have been received to steal my bank account information, and personal privacy and security have been invisibly threatened. There are obvious loopholes in the security management of the Lille hotel, which makes the area that is considered to be very safe! The person who pretends to ask questions and blocks the friend's sight and his accomplices, behaving and wearing is obviously different from the guests who live in the hotel, but the hotel staff is not alert and guarded, and the situation occurs; Nothing is regrettable. Is it necessary to choose a hotel that cannot guarantee safety? I believe everyone has their own answers.

Good location on Liberty Avenue. The actual room did not match the photo, the location was poor, the room was small, but the lady at the front desk said there was no problem and no solution. The hotel is old, but it can be seen once glorious, all kinds of old-fashioned gentlemen entering and leaving the hotel.

The hotel is located on the parallel street of Liberty Avenue. It is only 5 minutes walk to Liberty Avenue. The location is very good. There is also a Chinese restaurant opened by Shanghai people. This is my favorite hotel in a hotel I have stayed in in Lisbon! advanced! elegant! New! The location is especially good! There is a subway, there is a long-distance bus stop, and a taxi to the city center is 6 euros. Very convenient! There is a piano accompaniment for breakfast, and it’s a big one on the heights~ and this hotel’s bedding mattress is the most comfortable and best of all the hotels I have stayed in around the world~ very recommendable! ! !

Hotel location: 5 minutes walk (a few blocks) from the nearest subway station. It is extremely convenient to take the subway to the airport and various attractions. Hotel environment: There are a variety of restaurants and supermarkets to choose from. Because it is close to the airport and next to the train station, the hotel is soundproof. When airplanes and trains pass, the noise is relatively large. Hotel service: The front desk staff is relatively friendly and has questions and answers. There is no barrier to English communication! The pool is in a lovely tranquil setting and there are amazing views from the Sky Bar locates at it’s sister hotel next door. Staff were really helpful and gave us a super recommendation for a beautiful family run, local Portuguese restaurant less than a minute from the hotel. Convenient if you didn’t fancy getting back into the thick of things after a day sightseeing etc! There are nepresso machines in each room which is a very nice touch but thought the coffee pods should/could be complimentary or at least a sachet/freeze-dry alternative could be provided instead of charging €1.25 per pod. The VIP Executive Hotel - Firstly, the front desk lady was not friendly at all seemed to have an unnecessary attitude right from check in. This hotel is NOT a 4 star hotel, no A/C in the room, extremely noisy, small room, one slow elevator, the shower while running would pulse from extremely hot to cool then back to extremely hot then cool. The WORST part of this hotel is the fact that it's a hotel with NO parking. (Important if you rented a car - there is a parking lot across the street for $20 Euros a night) The hotel said they usually have four spots. Four? for a whole hotel? yet the road was presently under construction. The pillows were like cardboard to by the way, flat. We would not stay here again.

Lovely lovely place with lovelier staff. Easy to find from metro, three blocks away. Good sized room, wonderful breakfast ( nothing I could think of missing. They even are preparing us a box breakfast as we leave too early. There is a lovely grocery store two minutes walk. We used wrong plug in and blew circuit breaker first night and, no problem, just changed our room and even offered to help carry our stuff. One night got cooked chicken and salad at store across street. When I asked if they had paper plates, oh no, they gave us glass plates and real silverware and offered to pick it up when we finished. The main reason is to praise Ctrip. Due to weather conditions, the flight was scheduled to land in Chongqing, causing international flights to be delayed by 24 hours. Ctrip took the initiative to contact the hotel, the hotel did not agree to refund one night room (nothing wrong), and finally Ctrip refunded me one night room rate. This incident was caused by the weather. I contacted Ctrip and wanted to tell the hotel through Ctrip that I would stay at the hotel one day later. I did not expect that Ctrip would refund my one night room rate, which was unexpected to me. Services. I will use this night's room rate as your advertising fee and be a loyal customer of Ctrip! Finally, talking about the hotel, I set up a triple room. Generally speaking, the area is ok and clean. There is no breakfast in the hotel, there is a supermarket next to it, there is a bakery, you can have coffee and pastries. The location of the hotel is very good, and it is easy to go to various attractions. Is a nice hotel. At check out, the hotel front desk agreed not to charge my city tax for the first night. In the meantime, Ctrip personnel have been calling to care about my schedule, thanks again!

The apartments are in a convenient location near the metro. Check in is easy - you are given a code for the front door and another code for your apartment a couple days before you are due to arrive. The codes start working at 2pm on the day of arrival and stop at 12pm on the day you check out. The apartment is a reasonable size. I'm not a fan of the kitchen as the there are cupboards right at head level, which is awkward especially when trying to use the sink as the tap is far back. Air conditioning in the living area and in the bedroom are great and runs very quietly so can be used at night. We found it to be a little noisy at night. There was always some rumbling or banging coming from somewhere. Also, they are doing building work next door. There is body wash and shampoo in the shower, washing up liquid, sponge and cloth in the kitchen, plus one dishwasher tablet a day. There's a welcome pack of crackers, jam and water. Wi-Fi works very well.

If you walk towards the museum, you can also take the blue subway. Indoor: It was a twin room, but the room is large and clean. Refrigerator, no tissue No amenities such as toothbrushes. Only shampoo and body soap. The shower was old, and it was necessary to adjust the hot water and water separately, but only hot water did not stop at the end. We had a super four nights in Lisbon (what an amazing city!) and enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Breakfast was good (lovely hot bacon and scrambled eggs), reception staff very helpful and lady at bar very friendly, rooms spacious and clean, free Wi-fi and not too far from attractions location wise. Don't come for the pool though, we didn't so didn't bother us but was rather small and run down. Only downside was the way we were spoken to be Isobella at breakfast. We did not pay for breakfast before this trip but wanted to add that on once we were at the hotel. The reception staff very kindly said no worries, we can't pay for it all up front but let the breakfast staff know each day, they can file a receipt and we pay on checking out. We thought, perfect. This was fine each day until our last day when as usual we would go to breakfast, however this time Isobella, who seemed to be in charge, didn't seem to like our way of doing things (as we were told to by reception!) so I had to follow her to reception for her to moan about us to them! Felt like a naughty school kid being taken to detention... we were not amused. Reception apologized about her behaviour however she continued to walk around the breakfast room arms crossed, grumpy look and rather intimidating. She evidently did not want us there. Even waiting for our taxi in the afternoon on departure, she walked around the lobby in this way. My mum was quite upset with the way she treated us that morning. A smile and welcoming attitude is surely the basics of customer service and really not that difficult to do? Please can you address this so future guests aren't dealt like how we were. However, that story aside. Overall, we had an amazing trip to Lisbon, and everyone else at this hotel from breakfast waiters/waitresses to the cleaners and receptionists were so lovely and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

I don't always score high for which one. The hotel in Lisbon is really a small door, the service feels good, the lobby is small, the sofa feels a little dirty, there are no slippers and toothbrushes in the room, and it ’s too lazy to bring them, the hotel towels are relatively old and not so Clean, the room I chose was a large square meter, there was no gym, the variety for breakfast was satisfactory, and no fresh juice was good. The location of the hotel is okay. In the center of the city, there are more than 10 taxis at the airport. Be sure not to hit a black car. Be sure to get in the car to see if there is a meter. I paid 20 euros without seeing it.) It is recommended to go to Sheraton when there is a taxi, where there are many cars, and again I feel that the door is really small. Be careful, you will be able to pass, I have to evaluate as objectively as possible.

The front desk of the hotel was very warm and very standard: I signed a document when I copied my passport. I also specifically told me that the reason for signing this document was because I had to copy my passport and take it in another hotel to let me sign = =. From the hotel, not far from the Marquis de Pombal Square in Lisbon, then go down the city to the city center.

We have been 4 nights with a group of friends in the hotel and everything has been perfect. It is located in the center of Lisbon, two minutes from Marques de Pombal square. The hotel is very very clean, the staff are very friendly and the value for money is fantastic. The hotel manager Mr. Pedro Melo has treated us wonderfully, he is always available for whatever you need and is the perfect person to make recommendations due to his deep knowledge of the city. Many thanks to Mr. Pedro and the entire team from Francesc.

Breakfast is ok, the contents of two hot dishes every two days are slightly adjusted, no problem with full food. Decent service. The facilities are quite good. There are no slippers and no kettle. It is close to AnJos subway station and there is a Chinese supermarket next to it. Each person has to pay a city tax of 2 Euros per day, which must be paid when leaving the store, and must be in cash. Store your luggage locked in a cabin, stick a note, and rest assured. The bar in the hotel was okay, and I had dinner there. The soup is delicious. The waiter also picked up a bottle of hot water for me and was very polite.

Lisbon Hotel Guide

Lisbon is the capital of Portugal. It leans against the Sintra Mountains in the north and the Tejo River in the south, making it the westernmost city on the European continent. The old city is built on 7 hills, making it known for its hilly terrain. In Lisbon, old churches and monuments towers over countless houses, creating an architectural style that is reminiscent of the Middle Ages. The new urban area is filled with modern buildings, and among them, the Expo Park is a good place for relaxation. You can also visit the nearby town of Sintra and go back to the old days of the Portuguese Republic, go to the westernmost corner or the city, Cabo da Roca.

The city of Lisbon is divided into seven major tourist areas. Liberty Avenue, Bairro Alto, Baixa and Alfama districts are all in the center of the city. Attractions are concentrated and you can explore them on foot. The Belem area in the west has a lot of legacy left from the era of great navigation. In the north area known as the New City, you can visit art galleries, parks, and zoos. Traveling along the Tejo River to the west is the best way to visit the riverside area.

Avenida da Liberdade and nearby the Pombal Marquis Plaza are the highest-end neighborhoods in Lisbon. Banks, designer stores and high-class hotels are gathered near the square which has a strong commercial atmosphere. Liberty Avenue is very wide and shops are located on both sides of it, bordering the delicately laid stone sidewalks.

Bairro Alto is a high-lying area of Lisbon where visitors can go and check out panoramic views of the city. The old-style buildings here are dense, old, and more spacious than the old city in the east. This high area is the base for Lisbon’s nightlife and is quite popular during the weekends. The Carmo Convent, the Church of St. Roc, and the Temple of Estrela are all important places of worship. At dusk, you can climb the San Pedro Alcantara Observation Deck to enjoy the view of the mountains in the afterglow.

Baixa extends roughly from Rossio Square to the commercial plaza along the Tejo River. You can enjoy feeding pigeons at Rossio Square, or you can overlook southwest part of the city at the Carmo Convent in the high region. Take the Santa Justa Lift for easy access to the high hills. Augusta Street is a walker's paradise with crowded streets, restaurants, and cafés.

Alfama is the oldest block in Lisbon as well as an area that survived a major earthquake. There are many attractions in this area which is made up of a labyrinth of lanes and alleys. Within a few steps, you’ll always seem to run into a slope or a stone stairway. The journey starts from the Lisbon Cathedral on the bend. Next, walk through the street to the high point of St. Regis Castle - this is the best place to view sunsets.

Lisbon has a typical Mediterranean climate. Most of the year is sunny and the average temperature is between 10°C and 25°C. The weather is suitable for tourism all year round, though the period from May to October is regarded as the best time to travel to Lisbon. Spring comes early in Lisbon when compared to other European countries, but the temperature fluctuations at that time are relatively large. In March and April when there is rainy weather, it’s a good idea to bring rain gear. Summers are hot and dry and sometimes the temperature surpasses 35°C. Therefore, remember to protect yourself against the sun if you plan to be outside for long periods of time. The temperature in autumn is mild and the air is fresh. Like spring, it is also a good time to travel. There is plenty of rain in the winter, but not much snowfall. The average annual temperature is around 17°C.

Lisbon has both five-star hotels and unique family inns, both with a wide range of options and facilities. The area near Rossio Square is the central area for accommodation. There are many restaurants and shops and most tourists choose to stay there. The Alfama district is the oldest in the city and home to many bustling marketplaces. The northern New City has two important stadiums and some large shopping malls. This makes it a good place for fans of soccer and shopping to stay. Families visiting Lisbon can check out the Parque das Nacoes area. There’s great scenery there and the Ocean Park can be reached easily. There are plenty of hotels in Lisbon, so choose one that best suits your plans.
