Great
UUrban VoyagerWe had a great stay at Moon & Sun Hotel in Lisbon. If you’re looking for a centrally located hotel that’s perfect for exploring the city, this is an excellent choice. The location is ideal—within walking distance of major attractions, great restaurants, and public transport, making it easy to discover Lisbon without needing a Taxi/Uber/Bolt. The rooms are modern, stylish, and spotlessly clean. While they are on the smaller side, they’re perfect for travelers who want a comfortable place to rest after a full day of sightseeing. If you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring the city rather than lounging in your room, this hotel offers great value for money. The service was outstanding. The front desk staff spoke fluent English and provided excellent recommendations for places to visit and eat. They were also very accommodating—when I requested a different pillow for better comfort, they replaced it immediately, and when we asked for mint to be brought to our room, they did so at no extra charge. Small gestures like these really made us feel welcome. Overall, Moon & Sun Hotel was exactly what we were looking for—clean, comfortable, and centrally located, with a high level of service. It’s a great option for couples or anyone who wants to explore Lisbon with ease while staying in a well-priced, stylish hotel. We would definitely stay here again!

HHaPpY JeAnOn the first night, the room provided did not match my original reservation, and it was only on the second night that I was moved to the correct room. However, The staff were exceptionally attentive and eager to assist. The room itself was spacious, with strong water pressure, and body lotion was provided. For breakfast, there were egg tarts available on some days, though they were slightly too sweet for my taste. Overall, the breakfast selection was quite comprehensive and offered almost everything one might wish to have. In particular, the male staff member in the breakfast room provided excellent service and took great care of the guests.

WWHYhuwaThe hotel is on a road beside the roundabout with the statue of Marquis de Pombal on Liberty Avenue. When you exit the hotel, turn left around the island to reach the famous shopping street, and turn right to go to the British Palace shopping mall. Small desserts are served in the lobby bar every afternoon. Unfortunately, the top floor is not open in winter, so I can't go up to bask in the sun.

GGuest UserGood location for catching flights out of LIS. Accept dogs but charge an additional fee of €33. That does include a gift pack of a blanket, treats and a couple of nice collapsible bowls. Make sure you ask for it if you have a pet. The room is small, but efficient, unless you have a number of large suitcases. Even with pre check in you still need to present your passports and fill out forms with emails and phone numbers. Probably not worth the time to pre-check in.

GGuest UserThe room is clean and tidy, and the area is sufficient. The front desk service is warm. There are not many barriers to communication in Portuguese and English. The breakfast is purely Western style, and the egg tarts are also delicious. Don't buy water from the bar. Two bottles of water are 15 euros. There is a supermarket next door in about ten minutes' walk. Water is very cheap.

NNuannuanIt's been a while, but the memory is still vivid. The room was spacious, and breakfast was excellent – unlimited egg tarts! The capsule coffee was surprisingly good, comparable to freshly ground. Maybe I was just exhausted, but this last stop was pretty good. It started raining heavily as we left, marking the beginning of the rainy season, yet the taxi drivers didn't overcharge, which felt like a perfect ending! I must have a soft spot for Portugal; even after 10 days, I still wanted more. So, I'm happy to express my gratitude to the places I stayed and the people who helped and served me! Wishing you all the best!

GGuest UserThis is a very cost-effective hotel in Lisbon. It is the best and most convenient choice for family travel. It has a refrigerator, an induction cooker, pots and pans, and even red wine glasses. This is really surprising. The decoration of the hotel is very high-quality, and every waiter is enthusiastic. A handsome guy at the front desk even shared the snacks he bought with us, which was really heartwarming! I stay here with my family every year.

DDill ChenThe hotel is clean and meets standards of Iberostar hotels if you’ve been to other ones, with pleasant scents in the lobby. Used the gym but it was small, with necessary equipments so was okay. Didn’t try spa but you’d have 1 hour free access if book in advance. Service was relatively low-levelled throughout the stay. First night of arrival, there weren’t sleepers in the room and surprised that slippers at the reception were out of stock. Second morning I was made to wait in front of the restaurant to have breakfast, with loads of available tables inside, which were not cleaned up on time. The staff didn’t maintain the queue in a good way, the line was cut in by two groups of guests, and there was even one group going straight into the restaurant, with the staff not noticing this or explaining to us. No caring was shown verbally for our waiting outside of the restaurant. Third morning was told that there’s no breakfast booked with the room, but it turned out that the staff put wrong room numbers on the system when checking. The staff guided us to a table without cutleries prepared. Reception staff were friendly yet not showing the best quality of service if the hotel is 5-star. Response time could be shortened. Restaurant service was terrible given the above. No apologies made for the situations mentioned.

GGuest UserThe staying experience in the hotel is fair only. 1. The lift is unstable. When it arrives at the designated floor, it shakes rigorously,. I have great concern on its safety. 2. The breakfast is poor. The hotel requires me to pay for breakfast for every day, even I said I don’t want breakfast. Even worse, the food are always boring and insufficient. For example, I went to the restaurant for breakfast at 9:40am today. most of food including scramble eggs, toast, mushrooms were all gone. Staff noted the situation but did not refill them. 3. The room is small, old and smell not good. 4. The mattress is very thin

GGuest UserIt was a very nice holiday and the hotel had a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast was very varied, and there was something for everyone. The proximity to the airport was noticeable, but not really a problem; the construction work at the hotel will eventually finish, so all is well. 👌🏼 What wasn't so great for me, as a fresh air enthusiast, was that we couldn't open the windows. Despite the air conditioning, the air quality in the room wasn't good (even though the air conditioning was running constantly)! Otherwise, everything was fine. 👍🏻
