ANDU HOTEL
"We really enjoyed our stay at Andu. The service was amazing, and the staff were always willing to help with any request. The reception team was especially wonderful and very welcoming. The breakfast was good, and as a foreigner, you can always find something to suit your taste. Overall, it was a great experience, and if we come back, we will definitely stay here again. I’ve added some photos, but please keep in mind that the room photos were taken at check-out. It looked even more beautiful when we first checked in ☺️"
SCHOLARS BOUTIQUE Suzhou Pingjiangfu
"The location is fantastic, right next to Pingjiang Road scenic area. It even has its own small, authentic Qing Dynasty garden where you can feed the koi. Breakfast was decent, offering classic Suzhou-style pastries. The front desk staff was very welcoming."
vchill hotel
"Extremely satisfied! They even upgraded us for free to a private hot spring king room. The room was spacious and very clean. Taking a bath there, then heading to the balcony to feel the breeze and look out at the city below was absolutely delightful."
Mercure Suzhou City Center
"Strategic location and friendly front desk assistant"
Youngor Central Hotel
"I brought my mom to Suzhou and this hotel's location is fantastic. It's right by a commercial district, so food and shopping are super convenient. Plus, there's the Xuanmiao Temple, which dates back to the Western Jin Dynasty, right there. The hotel offers a free qipao experience, which was perfect for taking photos while exploring the various gardens. They also have delivery robots, so you don't have to go downstairs to pick up your takeout – incredibly convenient! What I loved most was the big bathtub in the room. After a day of traveling, a nice hot bath was wonderfully relaxing. At first, I thought there were no disposable tub liners, so I even ordered some extra ones. But then, it seemed the cleaning staff noticed I was using the tub, because every day they started leaving a tub liner next to it! Also, I initially thought they didn't provide shower caps, but after checking out, I found out you just have to ask for them..."
Suzhou City Holiday Hotel (Shiquan Street Wangshi Garden)
"The hotel was really easy to find and super close to the subway station, which made getting around a breeze. The entrance has a unique design – I even took a picture of it! The room was great too, very clean and tidy. The front desk staff was lovely; the lady at the desk assigned me a room facing the residential area, which was wonderfully quiet. After days of travel, I finally got a good night's sleep. It's a shame I was only there for one night and had to leave so quickly. Hope to visit again sometime!"
Citadines Suzhou Jinji Lake
"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly! The family room was spacious and comfortable. Also the breakfast had surprisingly good choices and again great service staff! The view in the breakfast restaurant was absolutely stunning: a full view of Jinji Lake area and parts of Dushu Lake. Oh, and the location was convenient just in front of the hotel entrance there is a subway station! Definitely. We will stay there again on the next trip to Suzhou! Just 2 stations to Pingjiang Road and Xiangmen!"
Yunlan lnn Suzhou Humble Administrator's Garden Pingjiang Road
"Really friendly and accomodating service staff, we loved our stay here. Location is very accessible as it was literally a 30sec walk away from 平江路. Even after checking out, the staff was accomodating and allowed us to eat our food in the accomodation (at the outside tables). Only downside was the toilet in the rooms which was not really private as the doors were translucent and they were not soundproof."
Anyi Hotel (Guanqian Street Pingjiang Road Branch)
"Choosing the right hotel is so important when visiting Suzhou! This AnYi Hotel has an absolutely fantastic location. It's just a few minutes' walk to Guanqian Street and Pingjiang Road, and super close to Chayuanfang Metro Station, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and trying local food. The hotel boasts a new Chinese style, with the lobby incorporating Suzhou-style window elements, full of Jiangnan charm. The front desk staff are warm, friendly, and respond quickly, paying great attention to detail. The room is clean and tidy, with smart controls that are incredibly convenient. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the toiletries are high-quality. The hotel design is excellent, offering a tranquil escape in the bustling Guanqian Street – a true gem! You can see the famous 'Big Trousers' (Suzhou IFS) from the front desk and the terrace, and the view is spectacular! My stay was absolutely perfect, highly recommended!"

MESHEE SEZEN HOTEL (Xietang Old Street Branch)
"It was a great hotel! Very beautiful garden by the lake. My room is by the lake and it was beautiful. Services were great and exceeded expectations. Thank you very much for the gift bag for Zhou Shen’s concert. I absolutely loved the goodies. Will definitely stay here again next time!"
New City Grand Rezen Hotel
"Extremely satisfied! We arrived quite late with our child that day, and the front desk staff upgraded our room, which was incredibly kind. The room's cleanliness was generally good, and our little one absolutely loved it. They woke up early the next morning to go to the kids' play area, which was also great. The hotel food was quite delicious, especially the stir-fried eel, it was amazing! We even packed up a lot of dishes when we left. A truly wonderful experience."
M Social Hotel Suzhou
"Good location and enjoyed spectacular view of JinJi lake from the hotel room"
Hovle Mansion Club & Hotel
"Right next to Pingjiang Road, it's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. The service is excellent, and the room is spotless. The wall by the entrance is especially photogenic in the morning when the sun hits it."
Jinling Aster Hotel Suzhou
"The Jinling Yadu Hotel is an older five-star hotel in Suzhou, and while the facilities are a bit dated, the staff's service is absolutely top-notch. They patiently helped me with every issue I raised. I received a welcome gift upon check-in, a handwritten note, and even a nutritious congee in the evening. Thank you!"
Floral Hotel·Suzhou Front Hall and Backyard Hotel (Pingjiang Road Store)
"Beautiful hotel and room. Spacious and comfortable. Also a great location close to the main canal and shops. Staff were friendly and helpful."
Suzhou Rispace Hotel
"The newly renovated hotel is really great. The rooms are fully equipped and very clean! Definitely worth coming back to!"
Dongshan Hotel
"This is an older state guesthouse, and the location is decent. I arrived around 11 AM. Even though Ctrip showed plenty of available rooms, the front desk insisted I couldn't check in until 2 PM. I booked a room in the Diecui Building, which isn't lakeside. The room they assigned me was near the children's playground, so it was quite noisy. I wasn't thrilled with the room layout; the facilities are dated. There's no partition between the room and the bathroom, so the sound of washing disturbed my family. The shower also lacks a door, making it a bit cold, and the drainage was very slow, causing water to overflow and flood the floor after showering."
Dongshan Yunshenchu Luxury Wilderness Hotel
"My expectations were raised by past reviews. To start with the good points, the hotel's Jiangnan garden style is very interesting, and the exterior design shows careful attention to detail; enjoying tea and scenery is very atmospheric. There are many loquat trees and bamboo groves, where you can pick loquats and tea in season. I booked a double bedroom, both with three-sided floor-to-ceiling windows, lush greenery, and great views. The room was very clean. Each room comes with an umbrella, and the water is Evian. It's suitable for travel photography, but not everyone comes for that. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, but it's cramped. The master bedroom's drain backs up with a foul odor on rainy days. The bathroom door is right next to the bed, and the stench is overwhelming every time the door is opened and closed, making me nauseous. This alone made me give up. The bathroom floor tiles are a bit slippery, and there was no anti-slip mat. The water pressure is low, especially around 10 pm. The air conditioner in the master bedroom is directly overhead, not blowing directly on my face, but it's noisy. The soundproofing throughout the house was poor, the pillows were too soft, and there was no headboard, so I relied entirely on the soft pillows. I came on vacation hoping for a good night's sleep, but I didn't sleep well at all. Breakfast was simple. All the streetlights were turned off after 10 PM, which posed a safety hazard for anyone entering or leaving. Service was inconsistent; the male manager was more considerate and attentive to service. The three-bedroom villa seemed much better in terms of space design and privacy, and it even had a mahjong room, making it a better value."
East Tai Lake Grand Hotel
"The environment is good and breakfast is decent. The staff are quite professional, though sometimes they're hard to find when they step away from their posts, which leads to delays in getting items delivered. I think this is an area that needs improvement in the future."
Suzhou • Guanqian Street BETTERDREAM • GARDEN • Anji Design Hotel (Chayuan Square Subway Station)
"I had a very pleasant stay. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and well maintained. The location was perfect and very convenient. Thank you for the great hospitality. I would be happy to stay here again! 😊"
SuZhou ShanTangStreet JiangNan Palace Hotel
"Great location, it is inside a shop and kind of confusing to find out at first so I had to ask staff for directions. Very scenic and relaxing garden."
Jinke Grand Hotel
"Received a free upgrade in room type. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was kind and helpful."
Zhuoyu Chinese Inn (Suzhou Guanqian Street Humble Administrator's Garden)
"Excellent! It's clean and quiet, and the owner even recommended some great local eateries and showed us a route for sightseeing that avoids backtracking."
Hengli UCAN Hotel Taihu SuZhou
"An amazing hotel. The room we had was perfect for a weekend away. And taking in a show rather theatre with a beautiful lake view"
Hampton by Hilton Suzhou Stone Lake
"Extremely quiet location in southeast Suzhou. The room was perfect for a couple with an infant, and the breakfast was excellent and surprisingly busy. Would book again!"
Mingshang Su Yue Hotel (Suzhou Taohua Wu Railway Station North Square Sujin Metro Station Store)
"I was in Wuxi and had a tight schedule to meet a friend in Suzhou. This hotel was a great deal, especially since it's so close to Suzhou Station, and tourist attractions are easily accessible. The room itself was pretty good, very quiet, and just right for two people. The projector was a nice touch for watching movies at night. When I checked out, I left my luggage at the front desk, which was perfect for picking up after my outing before heading straight to the station. It was really convenient and quick."
ATOUR ORIGIN Suzhou Guanqian Street Ganjiang East Road Hotel
"Booking in advance was a breeze, and Anne handled my check-in super quickly. The front desk staff were all incredibly gentle and polite. My room was spotless, with a cozy yet elegant layout, and the toiletries were complete and effective. The mattress had the perfect balance of firmness, and it was wonderfully quiet at night. The surrounding area is great for dining, entertainment, and shopping, and transportation is very convenient. Overall, the service was thoughtful and attentive, and the value for money far exceeded my expectations. It's definitely my top choice for business trips or vacations!"
Zhonghai Haitang Serviced Apartment (Suzhou Olympic Stadium)
"Great room, clean and location was perfect for us!"
UrCove by HYATT Suzhou Shantang Street
"I brought my elderly parents for a visit, and after comparing several hotels, I chose this one. It's very close to Shantang Street scenic area, so we could walk there for an evening stroll. The subway station is also incredibly close, making it very convenient for getting around. The next day, we also visited Pingjiang Road, and taking a taxi there was both cheap and easy."
