The parent-child room is really great. Both the little ones and the big ones had a blast.
Living at the foot of a mountain full of fruits and vegetables, you can feel the gifts of nature, ride in the countryside, pick wild fruits, and buy freshly picked plums from farmers on the roadside. Everything is so beautiful.
The hotel breakfast is made on demand and served to ensure the freshness of each portion
A small piece of grass in the open air with small mushrooms popping up one by one after the rain
The children splashed water when they kicked the ball, and the rabbits were fed with double chins, which was a paradise.
A magnolia flower by the door was fragrant and pure after the rain. The mountains in the distance were looming in the mist. A deep breath purifies the heart.

Pros: Heartwarming Service, Extra Points for Pet-Friendliness
I must particularly praise the hotel's service. From check-in to check-out, the staff were consistently enthusiastic and responded to requests promptly. What's especially noteworthy is how friendly the staff were towards pets, proactively addressing the needs of guests traveling with animals. This was the most satisfying aspect of my stay.
Cons: Details Need Improvement, Experience Compromised
1. **Hardware Shortcomings:** The soundproofing isn't very good. I could easily hear doors closing in the hallway at night, which affected my sleep quality.
2. **Limited Dining Options for Pets:** Guests with pets are restricted to only a few tables near the front desk for dining, lacking a sense of exclusivity.
3. **Flawed Breakfast Registration Process:** There was no one at the restaurant entrance to check guests in. An auntie suddenly approached me to ask for my room number while I was getting food. After I had settled down with my food, I went back into the restaurant for a drink and was asked again. The process is redundant and lacks proper standardization.
4. **Pet-Friendliness is Superficial:** Although pets are allowed and the staff are enthusiastic, designating only the area near the front desk for pet dining falls short of genuine ”pet-friendliness.”
Overall Impression
The professionalism of the service team and their pet-friendly attitude are commendable. However, the shortcomings in hardware facilities and service details are quite prominent. If the soundproofing could be improved, and especially if the pet dining area planning could be optimized and service procedures standardized, the overall experience would be significantly enhanced.

Guest UserSuzhou Xishan Xixili Hotel is truly amazing! The environment is serene and elegant, with breathtaking scenery. You can see the beautiful Taihu Lake right from your window, and in the evening, you can enjoy a stunning sunset directly from the hotel – the ambiance is absolutely perfect. The service is also incredibly thoughtful and attentive; the staff, both the ladies and the gentlemen, are warm, friendly, and always smiling, which made us feel so welcome. They even prepared a thoughtful souvenir for us when we left, showing great attention to detail. We had a comfortable stay and a wonderful trip; everyone was very satisfied. Highly recommend!

ivyalwaysOverall, it's pretty good. The hot springs are very comfortable, and the facilities are decent. The hygiene is also good, and the staff are all polite. The food, however, is very mediocre, so don't expect much. It's a nice place just for a hot spring soak.
As a hot spring hotel, while it emulates Japanese onsen in form, there's still a lot of room for improvement in the details, which I've already discussed with the staff on site. I'd like to add two more points:
1. Please have staff regularly patrol the lounge area. The door to the smoking room needs to be kept closed. Otherwise, it affects the health and relaxation of other guests, as the entire lounge area is an enclosed space, including the smoking room.
2. Mobile phones should be strictly prohibited in the hot spring area and changing rooms. Although there are signs, some visitors just don't pay attention. The scrub attendant was very responsible; she immediately stopped a lady who brought her phone into the hot spring pool. However, she was busy with her own work and couldn't keep an eye on everything. Another three or four people came in as if to sightsee, all dressed and holding their phones. Even though they weren't taking photos, it created psychological pressure for those of us who were naked at the time. I really hope there can be staff to maintain order and ensure no phones are brought in.
It's very close to Shanghai, so I can visit frequently for a soak. I hope to see improvements in the details next time.

Guest UserBanyan Tree, as always, is wonderfully secluded and comfortable!
The butler, a lovely lady, upgraded our room again. And we even ran into Alice Xiaoxiao, the butler who assisted us during our stay last year – it was great to see her again! She proactively reached out before check-in to ask about our needs and was incredibly responsive to all our requests. The concierge service upon arrival was also very thoughtful.
The courtyards, lush greenery, and water features are beautifully designed, offering a new picturesque view at every turn. The views from our room were truly refreshing and invigorating! Kids' toiletries were fully stocked, and the complimentary soft drinks were of good quality, not just an afterthought. The hotel also offers free activities like Baduanjin (a traditional Chinese exercise), cocktail making, and night runs!
Overall, a very satisfying stay! Excellent value for money!
**Dining:** The hotel's Baiyun Restaurant is also fantastic. Even though dinner was a set menu from a group deal, every dish was surprisingly delicious! It's a perfect alternative to the Rongsheng Restaurant next door, where you often have to queue for two hours if you don't want to wait. They've changed breakfast to a mostly buffet style, which can sometimes mean colder food with a less-than-ideal texture. However, they still offer à la carte service upon request, which is great! And the champagne was delicious!
**Activities:** This trip, we came specifically to climb Lion Mountain, and we successfully reached the summit – the entire scenic area is very thoughtfully developed! Safety measures are also very well implemented! Whether looking out from the mountain or gazing at it from the hotel, it's a view within a view – perfect for photos! There are several well-designed buildings nearby, like museums and science centers, all within walking distance. The hotel key card provides direct access to Lion Mountain Park, and in the evening, they even offer transportation for a golf course tour. The park has added more activities since last year, including a mini-train, cycling, and boating. This year, we even tried kayaking – so much fun! We'll definitely be back next year!
Our sincere thanks to Alice Xiaoxiao, our butler, who made our first stay enjoyable and our second even more comfortable. Also, a big shout-out to the handsome concierge who helped with our luggage! The auntie providing turn-down service gave our child small gifts and drinks, and the three lovely ladies at the bar patiently taught us cocktail making… All the hotel staff made us feel so warm and welcome.
Looking forward to our next stay!

ABUdaliThe surroundings are beautiful, but the epoxy flooring in the parking garage has a very strong, suffocating odor. As soon as you step out of the B1 elevator, the pungent chemical smell hits you.
The hairdryer is terrible; I can't believe a hotel of this size still uses such a poor quality one with insufficient power.
For food delivery, there's no robot delivery service, nor do staff bring it to your room. You have to go down to the lobby yourself to pick it up.
Regarding laundry, the staff came to ask if I needed anything washed but didn't proactively mention the charges. It would be better if the room had clear pricing and contact details so guests could make an informed choice.
The air conditioning does indeed turn on and off by itself, waking me up feeling hot in the middle of the night.
It seems the TV only has cable and no internet TV. The process for connecting my phone to the Wi-Fi was also a bit convoluted and not straightforward.

Guest UserI went to Xishan with friends to relax over the weekend and happened to come across this place. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful and quiet environment. You can climb to the top of Piaomiao Peak along the way. There are mountains and water, and the three big white geese in the river are very lively. You can also go boating. It's a perfect place to completely forget about life's troubles. It's a perfect weekend getaway. I heard from the locals that you can pick bayberries here in the summer and soak in hot springs in the winter. I plan to come back next time to experience it.

I booked the Starry Sky room, but it rained. I'm not sure what was going on with the roof, but from morning on, there was a constant dripping sound, like water hitting the canopy. It would drip every now and then, making it hard to sleep.
It was the May Day holiday, so there were a lot of guests, but it felt like the hotel lacked a crowd management plan. Breakfast was crowded, but still bearable. The worst experience was dinner. I had planned to eat at the hotel for convenience. However, after ordering, forty minutes passed and not a single dish arrived, while tables that arrived after us were already getting their food. I completely lost it. There was no apology or reassurance during the process, and pushing for our order yielded no results. A very poor experience overall.

Sabina SteinmacherThe hotel was located at the lake with an amazing view. The rooms was really nice and super clean and the mattress was really comfortable to sleep very well. The facility of the hotel was nice and very stylish, all in white and modern. The hotel was really lovely. The only thing that is really not good organised, there is no food except breakfast and afternoon tea (in that case fruits). We needed to order from a delivery service (only Chinese food available and it's was not really good). A hotel located at that wonderful place with that high price should have basic foods at the restaurant.

The weather is getting colder, so it's time to soak in the hot springs! The hotel faces Taihu Lake, the air is fresh, and the view is amazing. The hotel service is also excellent; staff contacted us in advance to ask about our check-in time and number of guests. Because we were traveling with a child, they thoughtfully upgraded us to a family suite. The room was large and spacious, and had two bathrooms, which was very convenient for families. A special thank you to Xiao Liu at the front desk for her attentive and patient service over the past two days, and also to the housekeeping staff for keeping the place spotless. Nanxun Ancient Town is about 10 kilometers from the hotel, so you can drive there for a stroll.
