Staying in this location was an absolute joy. To spend a night in an historic ancient time is a great experience, and staying in this hotel is a treat. The price is extremely reasonable. If I could give more points for the staff they deserve them. I arrived very early, and they not only allowed to drop off my bags, they changed the cleaning schedule to support my early arrival giving me an ultra-early check in. The room was just what I had ordered, and when it came time to check out, they gave me a fried dough snack to speed me on my way as they guided me to the “hidden” location to catch the bus to Suzhou. I don’t usually gush about a location or the staff, but these folks are special. If you want to experience an historic ancient town, listen to the experts that claim ZhouZhuang is the #1 choice.

I think it's pretty good. It's better for families to stay in rooms with two beds, and the bathroom door is made of wood. Cleanliness: The room has no strange smells, and the bed sheets are spotless. There's no dirt in the tile grout in the bathroom. Environment: It's not far from the entrance of the ancient town. The room layout is interesting. Service: The owner is very polite. He was busy helping us with our luggage and giving directions.

The room view was absolutely incredible! I saw a picture online of willows and a small river in front of the property and booked it immediately. The real-life view was even more stunning than I imagined! The owners were so kind; when we were sitting by the river at night enjoying the view, they came out and asked if we wanted mosquito repellent, and even brought us chairs and tea. When we checked out, they even gave us some local specialty 'sock-bottom crispy cakes'! My stay in Zhouzhuang was truly, truly wonderful!

Cute home stay run by a lovely couple. The owner found me wandering on the street and helped me to the room, he also carried my bag to the entrance for me when I left. They gave me a bag of snack when I left which was a nice touch! Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
