Mercure Suzhou Shilu Shantang Street Hotel

The room was very clean and the view was first-class. The location is very close to Shilou Subway Station, and MixC World is nearby, making dining and entertainment very convenient. The cleaning lady had a great attitude; she even proactively hung water and tissues on our door when we had the 'do not disturb' sign up all day. The only thing to nitpick is that the hotel is located on the 15th-20th floors of a building. The building elevators take a long time to wait for, and the elevator air conditioning isn't always on.

The room was quite spacious with excellent facilities and great soundproofing. I have to commend the breakfast – it was really delicious and had a wide variety of options. The location is also fantastic; the subway station is right downstairs, and Vientiane Mall is just across the street, plus it's close to Shantang Street. Front desk staff member Xiao Han provided great service. I'll definitely be back. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, among all the hotels I booked, this one was the cheapest and even included breakfast, making it incredible value for money.

This Mercure is incredibly well-located, close to the subway and the ancient Shantang Street, making it super convenient for visiting all the major attractions. The rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and the amenities are complete. The front desk staff are polite and efficient with check-ins, and the hotel lobby has a fantastic view. Housekeeping is meticulous and thorough. The surrounding area is vibrant with local life, and various Suzhou-style snacks are everywhere. Yaba Shengjian and Taohua Mouji are right across the street, no need to queue. Gu Ming is less than 100 meters away. From the high floors, you can enjoy the ancient city's night view. The overall travel and living experience here is top-notch, and I highly recommend it to tourists visiting Suzhou. Upon departure, they even thoughtfully presented us with a traditional fan, leaving a lasting impression of 'Suzhou' in my heart. The only minor point is that there's only one dedicated elevator, which is very safe but might require a bit of patience. I've fallen in love with this city and this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel near Shantang Street with our child, and the location was excellent. It's only a few hundred meters from Shilou subway station, and there's the Shilou commercial area and MixC nearby, which is very convenient. The room was also very clean, and the hotel staff were very friendly. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Suzhou.

The breakfast was fantastic with a great variety, and the service was excellent. I loved the smart toilet and the fact that they provided branded toiletries. The huge window offered a stunning view outside. The hotel is conveniently located right above a shopping street and very close to the subway station. Shantan Street is also just a ten-minute walk away.

Great location! It's super convenient to get around, with a subway station just a short walk downstairs. Shanting Street is only a few minutes' walk away, and right downstairs is the delicious Yaba Shengjian. The breakfast was also quite good. Highly recommend!
