DDallas GohThis has to be my favourite hotel in Japan. Firstly, the hotel is close to Nara Station, about a 3 minutes walk away. Room is spacious, and plenty of free consumables provided in the lobby. Filtered water dispenser is also available at the lobby. I think there was some food or snacks provided at night, but I came back to the hotel too late, only to find an empty tray with crumbs only.
Breakfast is a mix of traditional Japanese cuisine and Western breakfast items, and I was super impressed with the Japanese style breakfast! Please, you have to try the breakfast if you’re staying here.
AAnonymous UserHygiene: Yellow stains that had not been cleaned were found on the toilet
Environment: Halfway up Mount Wakakusa, isolated from the outside noise. The overall design style is modern Japanese. If you want to experience pure Japanese living, you should pay attention to the difference
Service: The service is still worthy of praise. The driver and front desk staff are very enthusiastic. They helped arrange the car to go up the mountain in the morning. It was very lucky to see 👀 deer🦌 on a rainy day
Food: Most of the food arranged is made from local ingredients in Nara. The ingredients are not gorgeous, the taste is OK, and it is more down-to-earth
AAnonymous UserThis was the best hotel on my Kansai trip to Japan! The room was clean and comfortable – small but perfectly formed. The onsen (hot spring bath) was also incredibly relaxing and had a lovely natural feel to it. They even provided facial makeup remover in the changing rooms, which was super convenient.
I visited during the off-season, so the hotel wasn't crowded. Everywhere you looked, there were charming and thoughtful design touches, and it was immaculately clean.
The location is also fantastic, near several of Nara's transportation lines and the bus terminal. Plus, there's a small street right next to it with plenty of food options. This is definitely the hotel I'll stay at again next time I visit Nara!
Sslowly-rabbitThe room is quite big, and there is a small balcony where you can go out and get some fresh air. The chickens in the yard downstairs are sleek and shiny. They said there were four chickens, but I only saw three. The rice balls for breakfast are OK, freshly made by hand. It is within walking distance of Kintetsu Nara Station.
GGuest UserIf you are visiting Kashihara and need to stay near the train station, this is an excellent hotel choice.
Clean and modern room. Good breakfast. Convenient to restaurants.
We liked the hotel so much. We booked another Candeo property in Wakayama as a result.
ZZhi YiThis got to be one of the best rappers i had ever been to, (besides a few really high end resort in Bali). This resort service is impeccable. The kaiseki dinner is really delicious. The Garden is so well curated that it can compete with some of the shrine garden. And last but not least the onsen is truly relaxing and beautiful. One tip, is it place the herbal pack into the onsen early. It takes 6 hours for it to fully diffuse into the onsen.
AAnonymous UserThis hotel holds the high standard of their group as usual.
Firstly, I thought the service was not sincere as the front deck refused to reserve the restaurant for us (there were 2 other hotel's front desk rejected in this Dec 2025 trip too). But then they offered tremendous help when I encountered parcel problem and which is out of what they need to offer.
That's really helpful.
The superior twin room is good for family of 4 with children under 12 years old.
We put together the beds and there were spaces for4 big luggage to pack and tidy up things.
Thank you to the entire front desk for their help.
The downside was the breakfast really average and I only recommend to try once if you are staying long.
GGuest UserI had a great stay at this hotel. The check-in process was fully automated and very convenient, making everything smooth and efficient. There was also a free automated luggage storage service, which was very helpful. The hotel is located very close to the station, making it extremely convenient for travel. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job, keeping the room clean and comfortable throughout my stay. I would definitely come back again!
Ssince2789I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean, and I really liked the pajamas supplied by the hotel. The lounge was really welcoming, and I liked that you could get hot or iced coffee at any time of day there. The tea selection was also extensive. I also really liked the public bath in the basement. After a day of walking in the winter, nothing beats a soak in the hot pool. Staff was always friendly and greeted me every time I came back or left the hotel. The location is also excellent, with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as the entrance to Nara Park!
AAnonymous UserI always stay here for business trips. The location is excellent, and the breakfast is great. Self check-in is very convenient! There's a Lawson convenience store downstairs, and a drug store is just a 3-minute walk away, which is really handy! I'll definitely keep staying here in the future.
