The breakfast buffet was superb with a fantastic variety of food. Plus, the location is unbeatable; it's highly accessible to transportation and very close to all the top tourist spots. Overall, my stay was quite good. The hotel's biggest advantage is its excellent location. It's directly across from Taipei Main Station, making it incredibly convenient for taking the MRT, High-Speed Rail, regular trains, or the airport MRT. The surrounding area is well-equipped with amenities, featuring numerous restaurants, snack stalls, and convenience stores, so finding food is a breeze. Ximending is also just about a 15-minute walk away, perfect for shopping, browsing, or trying local delicacies. Plus, the hotel is right next to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store (Taipei Station branch) and directly connected to an underground shopping mall, adding to the convenience for both shopping and getting around. As for in-room facilities, a refrigerator is provided, which is very practical. The hot water supply was stable, with sufficiently hot temperatures and strong pressure, making showers very comfortable. However, there are a few areas where the hotel could improve. The cleanliness needs a bit of work; the room carpet wasn't thoroughly cleaned, and I noticed visible dust on the headboard and walls. Also, since the hotel is located within a shared building, elevator wait times can be long during rush hour or peak tourist times. On another note, while the hotel offers washing machines and dryers, both require an extra fee. This could add to the expenses for guests planning a longer stay. All in all, if convenient transportation, surrounding facilities, and local amenities are your main considerations, this hotel is a good choice, though there's still room for improvement in terms of room cleanliness. The overall stay was pleasant and I would recommend it. ★★★★☆ (4/5 stars)

The location is excellent, right opposite Taichung Station. There's a supermarket, convenience store, and restaurants next door. The price is also reasonable. What I didn't like was their very strict check-in and check-out times – check-out at 11 AM and check-in at 3 PM. They charge you for exceeding these times. However, one morning, they started cleaning the hallway at 9 AM, and the noise of the machines woke me up, even though it wasn't even housekeeping time yet. Also, on my first day, my room was already clean, but they wouldn't let me check in early. This feels like a double standard.

WiFi poor connection for our stay for 5 nights although we complained but no improvement at all. We forced to use our own data until we had to buy new data during our 6 days trip in Taipei. That was our 1st bad experience for hotel stay 🥺. Good location👍🏻. The hotel building got lifts connected to Taipei MRT station thru level B3 from hotel back lifts. For those with big luggages, can use the lift between Z2 & Z4 to the hotel building. Then access the main building door to the hotel lobby at 5th floor by using the last 4 lifts. If unsure, can ask the security guard of the hotel building. Hotel got washing machine at level 3, got vending machine, water dispenser & weighing scale 👍🏻😊.

Checking in@4pm, can leave luggage at lobby corner area. Location is top notch,next door is bedding shop, majority local eateries around opens around noon, for breakfast walk further up across main street Room is immaculately clean,plenty of local channels & 2English programmes available on TV, Japanese toilet is available in the double room Especially loves the AC as it’s not facing bed directly There is water dispenser on each level,for beverage/Tea sachets, guest need to get it at the pantry behind reception desk

The environment is comfortable, and the service is excellent. The overall experience was great, and the location is convenient for getting around. It's great value for money and worth another stay. I'd choose this place again next time. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the front desk staff were friendly, making for a quick check-in. The front desk staff were warm and courteous, and the hotel's location is super convenient, but there are a few shops nearby, so make sure you don't go to the wrong one. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was quite simple but tasted fine. I wish they offered an ice machine, or perhaps they do and I just didn't see it. The laundry room had staff who helped load the dryer, and they provided reserved cards where you could note personal preferences, which was a nice touch.

Right in front of Taichung Station for Taiwan Railways! The building stands out, so it was easy to spot 👍. We traveled from Taipei by HSR and mistakenly thought it was the HSR Taichung Station, so be careful with that 😅. We stayed here with our kids, and they absolutely loved the super spacious play area! They even said they'd rather play at the hotel than go sightseeing (lol). Since it was hot, it was really convenient to return to the hotel between sightseeing trips. We could rest while the kids played. The breakfast selection was a bit limited, but for the price, it was perfectly satisfactory! 👍
