A simple and practical hotel great for a short stay Overall, this is a good and clean hotel, especially if you are staying in Hong Kong for a short trip. The room is quite small, so this is definitely something to keep in mind. If you are traveling as a couple, I would strongly recommend choosing two separate beds. The beds are quite narrow, and sharing one would probably be uncomfortable. We realized this right away and decided to take two separate beds, which worked much better for us. The room is too small for a proper desk or much additional furniture, so it is not really designed for spending a lot of time inside. For a short stay, however, it is perfectly fine. One thing I really liked was the air conditioning - it worked very well. There is also a ceiling fan that can be switched on separately, which is a nice little extra. The hot-water heater and bathroom exhaust fan can also be controlled separately, and even the power outlets can be switched on and off individually. Everything is quite practical and customizable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they explained all the facilities and features available in the room. There is also free drinking water available in the corridor. Personally, I didn’t really like the taste and decided to buy bottled water instead. Interestingly, bottled water from the small shop downstairs was much cheaper than buying drinks at 7-Eleven, where prices for food and beverages can be surprisingly high. The room itself was clean and tidy, although I did notice a few small stains on the bed linen. They also provide disposable toothbrushes and some very unusual towels. They are not traditional fabric towels, they come individually packaged and feel more like a thick piece of gauze. It’s definitely unusual, but surprisingly, they absorb water quite well. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a short stay in Hong Kong, especially if you mainly need a clean and functional place to sleep. The room is simply too small for a long stay, particularly for a couple, but for a few nights it works very well. Simple, clean, practical, and reasonably comfortable. just make sure you are prepared for the very limited space.

First off, I want to say I wasn't paid or given anything for this review. I'm just genuinely raving about YC Hostel. I stayed here for four days and it was great. Hygiene, Environment: Excellent. Each room has its own bathroom, and there are lockers and curtains. Everything else you'd expect is also there. Facilities: Superb. There's a fridge, basic cooking utensils, and common areas. Security is tight; you need to swipe your card to use the elevator to go upstairs, and the stairs are usually locked, so no outsiders can get in. Service: They don't discriminate against mainlanders. My water heater broke, and the owner came up to fix it after one phone call, though it didn't get fully repaired (haha). The staff members were all respectful and polite, treating foreigners and mainlanders with the same courtesy. Summary: I'll definitely be back next time.

Great value for money! I started looking for a hostel at 8 PM, as the one I had planned to book earlier in the day had increased its price, so I chose this one instead. The location is superb, very close to Victoria Harbour, just a 5-minute walk. There are also many affordable eateries nearby. Check-in was smooth; I used the self-service machine at the entrance, chose my language, followed the steps, and got my access card. Inside, there are electronic lockers with ample space. Considering Hong Kong, the living environment offers good value. There are backpackers from all over, and a tatami space for chatting. The 'wormhole' (common area/pod?) is quite spacious, with USB charging ports available.

The 6 female room is equipped with two showers where one comes with the toilet. The room is quite clean and you're free to choose one of the bed to sleep as they are not assigned. Toiletries and shampoo and provided which makes it convenient. Something to pay attention to is contacting the owner through WeChat which I would recommend contacting them before you arrive at the door. Else you'll have to stand outside for a while if they're not responding. A very good stay if you're travelling solo and just need a place for sleeping, showering and keep your travel goods.

I chose this DBS capsule hotel for my solo trip, and it exceeded my expectations! The capsule bed was clean and hygienic, with a spacious and comfortable interior. The soundproofing and privacy were excellent, ensuring I was completely undisturbed. The common areas were tidy and well-maintained. The front desk service was warm and attentive, making my stay very pleasant. Solo travelers can definitely consider this place!

I particularly loved the personality of the front desk uncle, hahaha. He was really super nice. I arrived late on the check-in day, all sweaty, and he told me to put down my luggage first and have some ice water 😂. For a hostel, it's really well-equipped: ice water, hot water, fridge, microwave, and even a small rooftop where you can have a drink or two, it's just too comfortable. The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, the air conditioning was powerful, and the bathroom was absolutely huge! Even bathrooms on the mainland might not be this big, hahaha. It's okay, but it's a bit awkward when you come home late at night and the guard is sleeping by the roadside. There's no 24-hour front desk, but there is a guard sleeping by the side. If you're not too picky, it's fine. The room is small, just enough. The location is great, right outside the MTR station and bus station in the TST area. Free water and they even provide an adapter and a dipper.

Prime star is a Perfect location for the hotel, staff were always extremely helpful. Room was very nice and kept clean. Hotel stored luggage before and after check in/check out which was also very helpful. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. I do really enjoyed our stay and is so close by to metro buses and easy to travel to airport from this place and the restaurants also have many different type of varieties Woww and is just so close by seaside as just 5 mins walk as I really 😊💖enjoyed the sun rise and sunset view would love to be back here again and again 💫💫💫💫 thank you to all the staff for our great Sevice really enjoyed the stay at prime star💫.

The hotel owner was very welcoming, and the room was cleaned daily. However, the bedsheets and duvet covers had a strong smell of sweat. Also, there were many people singing downstairs before 10 PM, which made it quite noisy, but the singing stopped promptly at 10.
