Facilities: You can't expect too much from a three-star hotel, it has the basics. What bothered me was the very low ceiling, which felt a bit claustrophobic. The room only provided four pillows, and when I asked for an extra one, they said they didn't have any, only blankets.
Hygine: I personally don't like carpets; they feel quite dirty, but I understand the need for soundproofing between floors. Also, when my child sat on the windowsill to play, we found it sticky, meaning it hadn't been cleaned or that corner was missed.
Ambiance: I chose to stay in Macau's old town this time for convenience, as I found dining less convenient when I stayed in Taipa previously. Indeed, this hotel is opposite Macau Polytechnic University, surrounded by residential buildings, making daily life very convenient. I originally wanted to explore the old town thoroughly, but my plans were disrupted because a Typhoon Signal No. 8 hit right when I checked in.
Service: I was already unhappy during check-in because I saw that the real-time room rate for that day had dropped by nearly half. This proves that there's no need to book hotels at a high price when visiting Macau in the future. Because it was the National Day holiday, hotel prices in Macau had skyrocketed, even more absurd than Hong Kong, probably due to the developed entertainment industry. Taipa hotels generally cost 3-4k, and even this three-star hotel was 1.2k per night, which is insane.
I can understand price fluctuations and wouldn't demand a refund for the difference. However, when I asked if a room upgrade was possible since one of the guests was celebrating a birthday during the stay, I was flat-out refused. It truly is three-star service, completely lacking in human touch. I've stayed in so many five-star hotels on the mainland, and upgrades are often proactively offered when available. Later, I pointed out that their room rate had dropped by half since I booked, and asked if an upgrade was possible then. Their response was, 'You can pay an extra 100 per night for the difference…'
In the end, for the sake of a more comfortable stay with my child, I didn't argue further. I decided to pay extra and upgrade to a suite myself.
Then another absurd thing happened. I booked for three nights, but they told me they only saw a two-night booking from Ctrip! However, they said it was fine and would take down my order to process it. I thought they had genuinely sorted it out, but on the morning of the third day, after going out for breakfast and returning to the hotel, my room card was demagnetized… I couldn't get in, leading to another hassle of going up and down. Speechless.
Finally, for the reference of other guests, the hotel is not far from Sands, and there's a bus stop for Koi Kei Bakery downstairs where you can take a mini-bus directly to Sands. From Sands, it's very convenient to get to the bustling areas of Taipa, the ferry terminal, and even direct buses to Hong Kong.
This hotel room is quite spacious, with a large single bed and a bathroom featuring a wet/dry separation (with a glass partition). Moreover, there's a huge glass window in the room offering views of either the Grand Lisboa or Macau's skyview. The room also includes an Android TV, allowing you to sign in to your own account to watch YouTube, Netflix, or even local channels.
This hotel is located closer to where Macau residents live, offering a chance to experience the local street life. There's a local market nearby where you can get a sense of the prices for groceries and meat. If you're looking for dried goods, there are supermarkets in the vicinity too. Additionally, there are street food stalls nearby, such as 'Qin Ji Tong Shui,' 'Rong Ji Xiao Shi,' and a congee stall – I heard these types of stalls are becoming increasingly rare.
Macau is neither too small nor too big. During my stay, the monsoon season had just arrived, making the weather cool and pleasant, around 18-20 degrees Celsius. If you enjoy walking in Macau, many attractions are quite close; you can reach the Ruins of St. Paul's, Senado Square, or even A-Ma Temple by walking just 1-2km from the hotel. So, if you want to experience accommodation with a local touch, this hotel is a good choice. Of course, if you prefer not to walk, taking the bus is also very convenient.
All in all, this hotel is great value for money, clean, and highly recommended!
The hotel boasts an excellent location right next to Macau International Airport, within walking distance, making it incredibly convenient for transit passengers and those catching early morning flights. The surrounding area has a well-developed transportation network, with a light rail station and multiple bus stops, providing easy access to Taipa, the Macau Peninsula, and other destinations. The seamless connection between the hotel and the airport makes it an ideal choice for attending concerts, touring, or for layovers, especially for travelers who need quick access to and from the airport. Some guests have even mentioned that their rooms offer views of planes taking off and landing, adding a unique experience to their stay.
The room is clean. But their service sucks. Right after we checked out, i called them to say i left my chromecast cable at the back of the tv. They said they ll call me back. But no one call me back. I called again 3 times. But keep saying theyll ask the housekeeping. Atlast i came there again personally and manager just dont care i think to look for it. They ask me to come back just to say they didnt find, i dont its lost. I just think they didnt look for it properly at the back of the tv. Its very small. No one can find it if not intentional.
The hotel far exceeded my expectations. The family suite we booked was incredibly spacious and comfortable! Overall, I was extremely satisfied. If I'm in the area again for official travel document processing, I would definitely choose this hotel. The room was spotless, and I slept soundly!
The bed in the room wasn't very big, but that's understandable. The location is excellent, very close to Grand Lisboa, MGM, and other attractions. It's also super convenient to take the shuttle bus from Galaxy or Grand Lisboa after clearing customs. The breakfast suited my taste perfectly. Unlike mainland China, they actually ask guests if they're willing to share a table. And if you do share, they'll only seat three people at a table, leaving one spot open. No one else will be seated there later to disturb your meal, which is fantastic!
The room is quite spacious, though a bit dated. The jacuzzi was fantastic, and the front desk service was excellent; they even upgraded me to a deluxe room. It's clean, tidy, and the location is superb, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. The bathroom sink is a bit small, and there's no counter space next to it, so nowhere to put a toiletry bag. The doorstop behind the bathroom door is a bit dangerous and easy to trip on. The toilet paper holder is poorly placed, not within easy reach. I hope these small details can be improved.
I didn’t expect such a quality from an hotel with such a price. I was skeptical at the beginning, but the staying was over the expectation. Room spacious, super clean and with all the amenities you need. I think the hotel was opened recently, since everything inside looks brand new. The hotel is in a very good position, close to both the ****** area (25 min walking)and the historical one (15 min by bus). Experience 5/5
The bathroom needs an upgrade, the bath tub is a bit shallow, the shower only in one place, no hose, no bidet. They got a TV, fridge, built in hair dryer but no iron for clothes The view is great from our window only if the windows were clean. Communication and service needs to be improved. We earlier communicated an early check in as we were traveling from Tokyo to Hongkong then to Macau, so we were so tired and wanted to freshen up and rest before exploring. However, they were strict with the 2pm check in but they stored our luggage while we dragged our sleepy and tired bodies in the hot and humid tourist spots. The security guards on both shifts were friendly and accommodating. The receptionists need to improve their tone when speaking and should be familiar with all the services offered by the hotel(dining options for example). Pillows were not great and gave me back and neck aches. The cleaners were great, housekeeping done daily and fresh towels and toiletries were supplied throughout the 3 night stay. It is still a bit of a walk from all the bus stops servicing major tourist spots. There is a free shuttle service to the outer harbor, not sure if they also take you to the airport.
Very old hotel with outdated facilities and poor hygiene. The room was tiny, barely enough space for one suitcase in a double room. However, the location is quite convenient; it only took twenty minutes by bus to get to the Galaxy Arena for a show.

GGuest UserWe booked a triple room for convenience, but it turned out to be exceptionally small. The window offered a view of tightly packed residential buildings, reminiscent of the old Kowloon Walled City, making it impossible to open the curtains. Despite being a triple room, only two tooth mugs were provided. When we asked the front desk, they directed us to housekeeping, who explained that while three sets of toiletries were given, their policy stipulated only two tooth mugs per room.
Then, in the middle of the night, the air conditioning broke. A technician worked on it for nearly an hour, but by 1 AM, it still wasn't fixed, and we were simply given a fan. At checkout, there was no apology or explanation whatsoever regarding the AC problem. To add insult to injury, upon checking out, we realized one room key card was missing, and they immediately charged us 50 RMB, citing their policy. It really feels like these rules are only for guests!

GGuest UserI really enjoyed my stay at Hotel S Macau! The moment I arrived, the staff Selene greeted me warmly and made me feel very welcome as well as she was very helpful and caring. My room was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I also loved the hotel’s location, it’s so easy to get around and explore nearby spots. It honestly felt like a little home away from home. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Macau!
MM309069****The room was new and quite spacious, with a bay window perfect for placing belongings. The bed was large and very comfortable.
The location is excellent, right next to Grand Lisboa, and there are many bus stops nearby. The hotel also offers free shuttle buses to the Border Gate and The Venetian, which is a huge plus! No need to scramble for seats on public transport – you get your own seat, though the waiting time can be a bit long.
(I forgot to take pictures of the room, but rest assured, it looks exactly like the photos shown online.)

TTianshimoguaiThe hotel boasts an excellent, refined location.
**Location:** Situated right in the city center, it's directly across from the New Yaohan department store. The iconic Senado Square is just a 10-minute walk away, and further on you'll find the Ruins of St. Paul's.
**Facilities:** All power outlets in the room are compatible with Chinese plugs, which is incredibly convenient for mainland guests needing to charge their electronics (see photo 4).
**Dining:** There's a restaurant on the second floor of the hotel, and guests receive a special discount (see photo 6).
**Other:** The room includes a bathtub but no separate shower stall.

KKinfooVery good location.
From outside hotel doesn’t look grand like the ****** hotel. But the rooms are excellent. Clean and spacious room. If you want to explore Taipa, Macau this will be the place to stay. Easy access to pier, plenty of Taxi drive by. No need to wait long.
GGuest UserThe hotel is brand new, boasts excellent soundproofing, and offers comfortable sea-view rooms with a charming vintage vibe. While it's a reputable brand, I was especially impressed by how incredibly warm and attentive the staff were. They proactively contacted us beforehand to inquire about my friends' accommodation needs and if we'd prefer rooms on the same floor. I will definitely prioritize staying here again for my next visit.
