Onyado Nono Nara Natural Hot Spring

This hotel is a hidden gem in Nara! It's right across the street from Nara Station. You take off your shoes as soon as you enter, and the whole place is tatami. They have hot spring baths and late-night ramen (so delicious! 😋). There's also ice cream and yogurt drinks. It really felt like the amazing service you get in Chinese hotels. Definitely consider staying here if you come to Nara!

My stay at Nono Hotel Nara was excellent overall. The hotel is right next to JR Nara Station, making it super convenient for getting around. The lobby has an authentic Japanese style, where you need to take off your shoes and they provide clean socks, which adds a nice touch to the experience. Although the room wasn't huge, it was well-designed, clean, and tidy, with a comfortable bed. The biggest highlight was the natural hot spring on the first floor, featuring both indoor and outdoor pools. After a soak, you can even enjoy free ramen and ice cream! Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted great. The only minor downside is that being close to the station, you might hear some train noise early in the morning. All in all, it's great value for money and highly recommended for anyone visiting Nara.

I've stayed at this hotel twice when visiting Nara. If you get a room facing away from the train tracks, you're in luck! The whole hotel is super clean because you have to take your shoes off to enter. The breakfast spread is fantastic, and the hot springs offer both indoor and outdoor baths. Plus, they provide high-end Panasonic and Refa hairdryers, which is a nice touch.

The hotel is very well-maintained, clean, and modern. Its location is excellent, right in front of the JR station, making it super convenient to get to directly from Kansai Airport via express bus. Walking barefoot on the floors was really comfortable, and the hot springs were incredibly relaxing. Plus, the free ramen was delicious!
