5-Star Hotels in Hong Kong, China

The first room I got was unpleasant. The hallway at the floor and inside the room was had a cigarette smokes. I was stay up for a whole day. Inside the room was shocked me! A lot of mirrors surrounding inside the room. On the next day I spoke with front desk and they changed the room to me as what I booked originally. Better view and cleanliness. More options and convenience to take the public transits. More selections for the restaurants and shops. 

Service: I booked a deluxe sea-view room and requested a non-smoking, high-floor room away from the elevator. I checked in at 11 AM, and the official check-in time was 3 PM. I was assigned a non-smoking, high-floor connecting room right next to the elevator. Upon discovering noise issues late at night, I discussed it with the hotel, and they upgraded me to an executive suite. Although it was on a lower floor, the suite's layout was right by the sea, offering unobstructed views, which I was very happy with. Environment: The Fortress Hill MTR/bus station is close to the hotel, making it convenient for getting around. The hotel is built along Victoria Harbour, providing unobstructed views, and the suite offered panoramic vistas. Facilities: The bathtub was incredibly satisfying; both in the standard room and the suite, it was a great way to relieve fatigue. The hotel's pool was excellent, though unfortunately, it was cloudy, so the water wasn't crystal blue, which made it less ideal for photos. Hygiene: Full marks for cleanliness, impeccable inside and out. I don't understand how picky some guests must be to give a lower rating... I stayed in three hotels during my six days in Hong Kong, and this was the best. A perfect end to my trip. Thumbs up.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, surrounded by numerous Hong Kong tourist attractions, perfect for city walks. Of course, the hotel itself is a famous spot worth visiting. It's a bit far from the MTR station, but thankfully, there's a shuttle bus service. The room I was assigned was spacious and very clean. The window faced the aviary, which was actually a place I specifically wanted to check out on this trip, so I was happy about that. The hotel's dining options are great. Breakfast is semi-buffet style, and both the à la carte items and the buffet selections were delicious. The Eggs Benedict really impressed me. I tried steak at Tai Pan, and it was cooked to perfection. I heard that the food at The Murray is also very good, but I didn't get a chance to try it this time. I hope to experience it on my next trip. I booked this stay through a Trip.com hotel package, which stated a HKD 300 dining credit per stay. It's important to note that this means HKD 300 for the entire stay, regardless of whether you stay one night or multiple nights, not HKD 300 per night. This can be misleading.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel ICON in Hong Kong. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. The rooms were beautifully designed, spotless, and offered stunning city and harbor views. What really stood out was the overall experience: every staff member I interacted with was friendly and professional, and the attention to detail made the stay feel truly special. Highly recommend Hotel ICON to anyone visiting Hong Kong. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, style, and outstanding hospitality. Five stars all the way! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

For my child's birthday, we opted for a family-themed room, and the entire 45th floor is dedicated to family suites! The moment the elevator doors opened, a whimsical mini train greeted us, instantly whisking us away to a fairy tale kingdom! There's a dedicated children's club offering dining, entertainment, and a variety of craft workshops daily! In fact, you could easily spend your entire stay without leaving the hotel, as it perfectly caters to all children's dining and entertainment needs, allowing parents to truly unwind. It truly gets a huge thumbs-up from us! We'll definitely be choosing Island Shangri-La Hong Kong again on our next visit!

Facilities: Fully equipped, just bring your bags. Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Location: Super convenient, just a 10-minute walk from Wanchai MTR station. It's about 1 km from Victoria Harbour, making it ideal for morning or evening jogs. Golden Bauhinia Square is also right in the vicinity. Service: Excellent.

I was actually quite nervous before booking, seeing so many seemingly credible negative reviews. But then I arrived at the hotel myself... Right at the entrance, someone took our luggage to our room. We checked in late, so there was no queue, and most of my room requests were met—except for avoiding a room near the elevator. 😄 However, the front desk attendant's excellent attitude and service (he explained everything clearly) and the really good room made me overlook that small detail. The sea-view room was amazing! My child asked if our room had a sea view as soon as we arrived in Hong Kong... the expansive sea view was incredibly satisfying. There was also a sticker collection activity to get Christmas gifts. The desserts downstairs were delicious, and my child adored the uncle working there. He had incredible charisma! We'll definitely stay here again next time!

The room view was absolutely stunning, and it was great that there was no unpleasant smell despite being right by the sea. The cleaning staff did an exceptional job; everything was spotless. However, anyone planning to stay here should be aware that the hotel doesn't provide bottled water, combs, or toothbrushes. These items need to be purchased separately at HKD 5 per item. For example, if two people need one toothbrush, one comb, and one bottle of water each, that would be 2 x 5 x 3 = HKD 30. Overall, the sea view is incredibly close, beautiful, and excellent. We were assigned a room closer to the end of the building, and it surprisingly offered almost a 180-degree ocean view, which was fantastic!

For Regal....the airport location is in much better maintenance than the Shatin Regal Hotel that i stayed. Hotel should consider soundproof windows since being in the airport location. Basically， you hear all the planes. Had this Partial view, as seen in photos.

The room was spacious and very clean. It's right next to Langham Place shopping mall, which is super convenient, and there are tons of restaurants nearby, making life very easy. The room had a great Christmas vibe too. I'll definitely be back next time!
