A lil bit annoying from the toilet. Making sound like someone knocking, from the pipeline. My kids feel a lil bit terrified from that sound. Is that a common sound there? But overall, its a very satisfying accomodation. my kids enjoy with the pool. Charlie, I came across one or two Charlie ants in the toilet and sauna room.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a wonderful family stay at Lone Pine! We absolutely loved the vibe here — peaceful, relaxing and beautifully surrounded by nature. It really suited us and was exactly the kind of getaway we enjoy. The breakfast was also one of our highlights — so good and we really enjoyed the variety! ❤️ The staff were warm, friendly and attentive throughout our stay, which made the experience even more special. And a funny little note… my teenage daughter loved Lone Pine so much that she has already started planning her wedding here! 😅😂 I guess that says a lot about how much she enjoyed the place! Definitely a memorable stay and we would love to come back again. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

Had a really pleasant stay at Angsana Teluk Bahang! 🌴 The check-in process was a little slow, but the staff were very professional, helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The amenities and facilities are really top-notch — there’s so much to do! They have a game area, kids’ playroom, kids’ pool, infinity pool and even a private beach. They also have a fire show on weekends, which was a nice touch. The resort has a very calm and relaxing atmosphere with beautiful views. Our room was very clean, and the housekeeping service was fast and efficient. Breakfast was one of the highlights — lots of choices, including a kids’ corner with kid-friendly menu options. We had breakfast twice and the menu was different on both days, so there was plenty of variety. Some dishes were a little salty for my taste, but overall the breakfast was really good. And the teh tarik + pastries was especially delicious! ☕️ Overall, a great place for a relaxing family/ couple getaway. Would definitely consider coming back! ❤️

We love everything about this resort. Kids & family friendly, service & hospitality was very nice, breakfast spread was nice and tasted good, the views here were breathtaking, my kids enjoyed the pool, they have splash pool with 2 different slides and the adults can enjoy the slides as well. Easy access to the beach with many watersport activities but need to pay for them, we spent on their dinner buffet which was so good. In the evening, they have BBQ and you can enjoy taking pictures during sunset. However, I hope they can improve their maintenance at the pool area (there was a shower by the poolside that needed to be repaired), the cleanliness of the room can definitely be improved, the hairdryer in our room was out of service, but other than that, everything else was definitely great. We may repeat our stay here in the future 👍🏻

This is an older hotel, but it's very clean, with daily housekeeping. The staff are all very friendly and greet you when you pass by. Basic facilities are all available. The breakfast offers local specialties, including sushi, but I felt there were quite a lot of curry-flavored dishes. The hotel has a main swimming pool which is very comfortable, with beautiful tree views, and it's always being cleaned.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic, with the only downside being its location off Penang Island. It's incredibly new, smells wonderful, and is spotlessly clean – honestly, these three things alone put it head and shoulders above 99% of accommodations in Malaysia. The toiletries are from New Zealand, which is a great touch! Plus, since it's not too busy yet, my boyfriend and I had the rooftop pool all to ourselves! Such a treat!

I had an excellent stay at G Hotel Gurney in the Executive Suite. The suite was spacious, modern, and beautifully maintained, with a comfortable bed and a great view. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Penang. The hotel’s location is fantastic, right next to Gurney Plaza and within walking distance of many popular eateries. The staff were professional, friendly, and always willing to assist, making the entire stay even more enjoyable. The Executive Lounge was a great addition, offering a quiet and comfortable space to unwind with complimentary refreshments. Breakfast was also excellent, with a wide selection of local and international dishes. Overall, everything from the room quality to the service exceeded my expectations. I would definitely choose G Hotel Gurney again on my next visit to Penang and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay.

It is very comfortable, stunning and family oriented hotel. We were there during only 2D1N on saturday night, didt get the chance to enjoy the faciliesties luckily we enjoy the live band perfomance. Highly recommended especially for families or couples.

We had a wonderful stay at 22 Macalisterz. The location is very strategic and convenient, especially for families, with easy access to many food places and attractions. The rooftop pool and gym were great and easy to access. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with fast Wi-Fi and smooth access to YouTube and Netflix. The mattress was very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped for our needs. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay. We would definitely stay here again! ❤️

I stayed in the Heritage Wing. You can have breakfast at all three restaurants, but personally, I think the Heritage Wing's restaurant is the best, though it's quite small with only about a dozen seats. I recommend starting with a bowl of pho at the Heritage Wing's G-level restaurant. If you're still hungry, you can head to the Victory Wing's 6th floor for an Eggs Benedict or some coffee (the first few Western breakfast items are the same at both restaurants; the Heritage Wing restaurant has some unique items later in its menu). The Victory Wing's G-level is a large buffet restaurant, but it's too crowded and noisy for my liking. All drinks in the mini-bar were complimentary, and there was a free welcome bottle of red wine and two small packs of snacks in the living room. The restaurant at the entrance to the Heritage Wing pool is a bit hidden. They offer free afternoon tea (coffee, tea, soft drinks) in the afternoon, and both cookie flavors were delicious. From 6-7 PM, they serve free cocktails, but we missed the time and didn't get to try them. I was given a ground floor room, and the sea view right outside the window was fantastic. It was a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff was a bit cold and didn't offer much information, just handed me a paper to read. Luggage was delivered to the room, and for check-out, you can call the bellman to pick up your luggage, so you don't have to carry it yourself.
