5-Star Hotels in Perak, Malaysia

- The breakfast restaurant is too small, requiring a long wait every day. Although breakfast hours extend until 10:30 AM, food is no longer refilled after 9:30 AM. - This stay was on the 12th-floor Concept floor, which includes afternoon tea at the Concept Lounge from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. I went to the lounge around 5:45 PM that day, but there were no hotel staff present. All used dishes and cups were left on tables, uncollected. There was absolutely no food refill. I called the hotel lobby to inquire, and eventually, a staff member arrived. This employee showed no smile whatsoever, and their service attitude was far from friendly. - The swimming pool is on the R floor. It's very small, and there are no hotel staff or lifeguards present at all. Given this level of service and hotel facilities, I don't believe this hotel can be considered a five-star hotel in Ipoh.

We stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Damai Laut for 3 days and 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Definitely worth every penny! It’s a great place for a family getaway, with direct access to the beach, a mini waterpark, Kids Club, and plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained. The room was comfortable, the surroundings were peaceful, and we loved the relaxing resort atmosphere. Overall, we had a wonderful time and made some great family memories here. The kids loved it, and so did we! Definitely a place we would love to come back to. ❤️

We had a wonderful stay in Banjaran hotspring. Even though there was some issues with the facilities which comes with age and need more maintenance and care. We have complimentary visit to the adjacent theme park and enjoy it even though it was very hot and sunny. Breakfast was good with unlimited ordering from menu. But on 3rd morning, we didn't feel like eating the same food. Wish the menu is changed every alternate morning.

Spent one night at this hotel for a business trip, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was for the price. The parking area is spacious and free, with valet parking available from RM30 per night. The hotel has a modern design and is equipped with a Face ID-like entry system, which adds a nice touch of technology. All the room switches are touchscreen as well. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. I also really loved the bathroom design, especially the electronically operated toilet seat very much like the ones you’d find in Japan. They also provide complimentary snacks and carbonated drinks, which was a nice bonus. Overall, definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at for its price. Great comfort, modern facilities, and plenty of thoughtful touches. Would definitely consider staying here again.

The spa was a fantastic and unique experience, and the sunset on the beach was absolutely beautiful. The restaurant was decent too. Our room was very close to the lobby. However, there's one thing to be aware of: service charges and taxes can be applied multiple times. For instance, after paying for the spa, an additional 10% was added to the final bill. Just a small heads-up for everyone! It was truly a happy trip 😁, but all that happiness definitely came with a price. In the end, our on-island expenses were even higher than the room rate! 😅

GOOD STAY. NICE LOCATION. HOPEFULLY ALLOW FREE LATE CHECK OUT AROUND 3 PM ON WEEKDAYS WITHOUT ANY CHARGES. RECEPTIONIST AGREED ONLY 1 HOUR LATE CHECK OUT. ADMIN/RECEPTIONIST SHOULD COORDINATE WITH HOUSEKEEPERS AS NOT TO DISTURB GUEST BETWEEN 12 PM - 1 PM ( LATE CHECKOUT PERMITTED TIME); DURING OUR STAY WHEREBY WE WERE BUSY PACKING UP OUR LUGGAGES AND IN THE BATHROOM. QUITE ANNOYING. IMPROVE CREWS' HOSPITALITY SKILLS.... ANYWAY WOULD LIKE TO STAY AT STALLIONZ......because reasonable pricing, free parking and good location

Hotel is located near a small lake. Location is good if you have a car as surroundings is quiet with good scenary. It is actually an apartment with 3 bedrooms. We booked 1 bedroom unit 2 other bedrooms and the guest toilet were locked. The room is big as it is equipped with a kitchen and living room. The apartment and the room facilities are somewhat aged though in general is clean. The toilet ensuited with the master bedroom is small. Breakfast varieties and taste are good.

The house cleaniness really need to improved. The sink is stuck, water outflow is slow. Even the utensils is oilly and pot is oilly also. The bedsheet got stains and toilet didn't clean properly. I wouldn't stay here anymore. The sofa foam is sinking also.

A big thanks to the management for free upgrade to studio suites 😍 We felt at home, the room with all the necessities, fresh airs, complimentary drinks and kacang putih, member price for in room service of the Dome. I especially love the bath, water pressure is strong 👍🏻 It would be even better if lotion is provided 😊
