Guest UserPleasantly surprised to be upgraded to the top 12th floor! This floor offers exclusive complimentary afternoon tea with both sweet and savory treats, accompanied by local coffee. Unfortunately, we were out all day and missed it. We also didn't get to experience the infinity pool on the 13th floor. The hotel is centrally located, connected to a large shopping mall, and you can easily walk to popular attractions in the old town like Mural Street and Concubine Lane. It was very convenient to walk back in the evening, and there are plenty of authentic local eateries nearby, offering a lively atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable, and being on a high floor, it was quiet. Service was prompt, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. If you're visiting Ipoh and want a comfortable stay while easily exploring the sights, I highly recommend this place! 🏙️☕ Great value for money 👍

Guest UserOverall, we had a pleasant stay and enjoyed our experience. The hotel’s direct beach access was a huge plus, especially for the kids, who had a great time.
My main feedback is regarding the breakfast restaurant. I think both the service and dining environment could be improved. The air conditioning wasn’t sufficient to keep the entire dining area comfortable, especially during busy hours.
The breakfast seating arrangement could also be managed better. Since the downstairs dining area was full, we were assigned a table upstairs. However, the food selection upstairs was very limited, so we had to go back and forth downstairs several times to get the food we wanted. It seemed that the restaurant lacked sufficient space to comfortably accommodate the number of guests during breakfast, which affected the overall dining experience.
Other than that, we had a good stay and appreciated the hotel’s excellent beachfront location.

SEE WAHMy third stay at The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat. The peaceful surroundings, exceptional hospitality, and attention to detail are exactly what keep me coming back time and time again.
A special highlight of this visit was dining at Jeff's Cellar. The setting inside the limestone cave is simply breathtaking, and the fine dining experience was outstanding.
Another wonderful stay, and I'm already looking forward to returning again.

Guest UserFirst time staying here and I was very impressed! I absolutely loved their desserts – not too sweet, just perfect and delicious. I only realized I'd lost my gold pendant after checking out. I called customer service, fully expecting it to be gone for good, but they actually found it! They even mailed it back to me. Their service is truly exceptional. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Ipoh.

Had a lovely long weekend getaway and stayed in the sea villas. The facilities were amazing with fresh water pools, tennis courts, gym and several restaurants with an excellent food selection. Our favourite was fisherman's cove which had more of a western cuisine. Overall we had a really pleasant stay. However having stayed at other similar resorts at a similar price it felt like it was lacking. I know how can I complain about staying in paradise? The area for improvement would be: an additional hose shower head instead of just the overhead one. Cleanliness of the library area. Greeting cold towels and drinks at the main lobby. Selection of shampoos, soaps and moisturisers. Eco-friendly toothbrush and energy controller with key card. Aircon and lights had to be turned off manually if we left the room. I would definitely go again but it would be nice if they took on more eco friendly initiatives.

Seang YeeLocation is great as near to town. Only inconvenience is when you need to go to town, you need to drive further down to make a U-turn. The floor inside the unit is dusty. I really don't feel comfortable walking on it. Should put up notes in the unit that housekeeping is not available for those staying 2 nights or more unless we make special request. So that we can ask for drinking water or toilet rolls on our way back to the unit.
The swimming pool, guard should enforce stricter rules that only swimming suits are allowed in the pool. T-shirts (even for parents) should not be allowed at all in the pool.

Anonymous UserPro: The apartment is quite new and has a lot of unoccupied units which make it quite dusty at the corridor and lift, that’s our first impression of the place as for the apartment. It was quite clean and neatly decorated. As for location, it was quite convinient as its near city center. We were lucky there was a singing fair at the front of apartment. It was very lively and joyous.
Con: Waiting for the lift is too slow. Entry to the parking lot is only 1 entry and encounter 1 car blockage and the whole traffic stop. As for going up the ramp of the parking, it’s quite narrow.
Overall: it was a pleasant place to stay.

YuanhuaruixiangThis is a very new hotel apartment. It's fully equipped with pots, pans, an induction cooker, microwave, refrigerator, and hairdryer. The only thing missing is a washing machine, but all other essential in-room facilities are there. The room is quite spacious; we booked a two-bedroom apartment. At around 140 Malaysian Ringgit per night during the May Day holiday, it offered great value for money. It was more than enough space for our family of three, with one king-sized bed and two single beds. The living room had a sofa, and surprisingly, the TV even had Mango TV and Tencent TV! 😂
The infinity pool on the hotel's top floor isn't huge but is very tastefully designed. There's also a co-working space specifically for digital nomads, and the gym is excellent. The garden on the second floor is beautiful both day and night.
The hotel itself isn't far from the city center. It's about 6-8 MYR by Grab from the train station, and roughly the same to the Mural Street. To Perak Cave and Mirror Lake, it's about 8-10 MYR, making it very convenient to get around.
The only issue is that since the apartment is quite new, Grab's current pick-up/drop-off point is located at the main entrance on the main road. If you have a lot of luggage, you might need to ask the driver to go around to the reception area at the back of the apartment.

Mel_TIt’s a nice resort in Ipoh surrounded by greenery. Cleanliness and maintenance could be improved. Black mildew grow around shower heads which is gross, dust on kitchen top surface and bad smell came out from the AC ventilation in the bedrooms. Activities listed for kids are of poor quality. There was a group of adults using the playroom as resting and make-up room. There was hardly anything for children to play with in there.. Achery was a joke, reception staff had no clue on the schedule and couldn’t be bothered to find out. It’s hazard to place a thin piece of glass on the table top in the apartment.

PGXpengFantastic hotel, highly recommended! They have Chinese-speaking staff, and the hotel is brand new with spacious rooms. There's a supermarket downstairs, which is really convenient. It's a shame they were fully booked the next day, so I couldn't extend my stay. Next time I'm in Ipoh, I'm definitely staying here again!
