5-Star Hotels in Perak, Malaysia

On the day I checked in, I left my things in the room and I went shopping. I did leave a Do Not Disturb sign on my door. When I came back, the minute I put down my shopping, someone tried to open my door. Looked through my peep hole and saw a middle aged woman. The key obviously did not work. She left after a while but came back with a bell boy who rang in my doorbell. I opened the door and bellboy apologised and asked if I was staying here. I said I have checked in at 3pm. Bellboy pointed at two luggages and said he sent them to the wrong room? Wait what? Whose are these? The woman said they were hers. Bell boy said he delivered them to the wrong room. Next, front desk called me and asked for my name. Not to apologise but ask for my identity. She confirmed that there’s been a mistake in assigning rooms. I asked her what do I need to do. She said nothing. No apologies. I asked her why the bellboy entered my room even though the Do Not Disturb sign was there. No answer. My advise to those who choose to stay here - double lock your doors and keep your valuables with you. They did not respect my DND sign and entered my room.

This was our second stay here. First, a lovely lady at the front desk (apologies, I didn't catch her name tag) provided very attentive and detailed service. She proactively explained many check-in specifics and shared upgrade offers. Unfortunately, the housekeeping staff clearly missed some things and didn't thoroughly check if all in-room amenities were complete. The pillowcases weren't on the pillows, the conditioner and shower gel in the bathroom were empty, and there was only one tissue left in the box. When I called the front desk for these supplies, some were still missing when they were delivered. Hilton is a well-known upscale international hotel, and such oversights really shouldn't happen. I hope to see improvement on our next visit.

We had a wonderful stay in Banjaran hotspring. Even though there was some issues with the facilities which comes with age and need more maintenance and care. We have complimentary visit to the adjacent theme park and enjoy it even though it was very hot and sunny. Breakfast was good with unlimited ordering from menu. But on 3rd morning, we didn't feel like eating the same food. Wish the menu is changed every alternate morning.

Spent one night at this hotel for a business trip, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was for the price. The parking area is spacious and free, with valet parking available from RM30 per night. The hotel has a modern design and is equipped with a Face ID-like entry system, which adds a nice touch of technology. All the room switches are touchscreen as well. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. I also really loved the bathroom design, especially the electronically operated toilet seat very much like the ones you’d find in Japan. They also provide complimentary snacks and carbonated drinks, which was a nice bonus. Overall, definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at for its price. Great comfort, modern facilities, and plenty of thoughtful touches. Would definitely consider staying here again.

The spa was a fantastic and unique experience, and the sunset on the beach was absolutely beautiful. The restaurant was decent too. Our room was very close to the lobby. However, there's one thing to be aware of: service charges and taxes can be applied multiple times. For instance, after paying for the spa, an additional 10% was added to the final bill. Just a small heads-up for everyone! It was truly a happy trip 😁, but all that happiness definitely came with a price. In the end, our on-island expenses were even higher than the room rate! 😅

The property itself exceeded my expectations—the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, parking was seamless and convenient, and the overall amenities were top-notch. It had everything needed for a comfortable, hassle-free stay. What truly set this property apart, however, was their astounding honesty and guest support. During my stay, I accidentally lost my RM10,000 bracelet somewhere on the hotel premises. I was deeply concerned, but thanks to the incredible team, I got it back safely! A special shoutout to Umesh from the control room and Ika at the reception. They acted promptly, thoroughly verified the situation, and safely returned the bracelet to me. They reassured me that the management works tirelessly to ensure guest safety and provide a seamless stay—and they truly proved it through their actions. Finding a place that pairs fantastic facilities with such trustworthy, dedicated staff is rare. I am deeply grateful for their professionalism and integrity. I highly recommend The Stallionz, Ipoh to anyone visiting the area!

The room was spacious and the living room was fully equipped. It felt like facing the tropical rainforest, very quiet, and the pools were numerous and fun. There's a 500-meter lakeside running track, giving you the feeling of running in a tropical rainforest. Breakfast was plentiful. The hotel has strict security management, and the overall environment is very quiet, making it a great resort for long stays.

Hi The stay was pleasant. The unit was good when we entered, the air conditioning was working well. We did not use the kitchen utensils as we brought our own water heater. Except for the temporary blackout, the master bedroom bathroom shower drainage was choke, water drained very-very slow.. Overall we enjoyed the stay with a good view from the balcony. A big thanks to the management for free upgrade to studio suites 😍 We felt at home, the room with all the necessities, fresh airs, complimentary drinks and kacang putih, member price for in room service of the Dome. I especially love the bath, water pressure is strong 👍🏻 It would be even better if lotion is provided 😊
