I had a truly fantastic stay! I usually stay in Taipa, but this time I chose Harbourview Hotel since I was visiting the Grand Prix Museum the next day, and I was pleasantly surprised. Huge thanks to the hotel for upgrading me to a suite – the room was incredibly spacious, and most importantly, it was spotless and well-maintained. I'll definitely book here again on my next trip to Macau. It's super convenient; you can take the Sands shuttle and just cross the road, or use public transport as there's a bus stop right opposite the hotel. There are water dispensers in the hallway, though only cold water, which was perfectly fine.
Exceeded expectations! The location is superb, making it incredibly convenient to get to MGM for exhibitions.
Facilities: You could practically cook a meal here – the facilities are fully equipped.
Service: Excellent, they even provided breakfast.
Environment: Very good, there's a gym available for workouts.
The hotel's location is just 'okay'. It's not far from Rua do Cunha and The Venetian, but walking to both can be a bit tiring, especially if you're with elderly people or children. It's not super convenient to get anywhere, so we mostly relied on taxis. The hotel service was also pretty standard, except for the older gentleman who helped us with our luggage at the entrance – he was very kind and enthusiastic. The hotel breakfast was really disappointing – not tasty at all, with limited variety. I even saw a child directly picking up food from a plate of chicken nuggets with chopsticks! We booked five rooms, and on the last day, two of our rooms didn't even bother with breakfast; we went to a nearby cafe called Neptune Ice Cafe instead. So, I definitely wouldn't recommend booking breakfast here. The rooms weren't particularly small, but the hotel itself feels a bit dated. If you need an iron, you can call reception and they'll send one up. Oh, and there's a free hotel shuttle at the entrance that goes to The Venetian, though you'll still have a short walk from there.
The hotel's location is great, not far from the city rail, making transportation convenient. It's in a residential area with supermarkets and chain restaurants nearby, and there's also a restaurant in the hotel building offering a buffet. However, the hotel's amenities are old and outdated; for example, the hairdryer button was missing, and the TV is a small 24-inch model with no smart features or casting options. Given the price, I can't complain too much.
The only major downside, as others have mentioned, is the terrible soundproofing. I could hear people walking upstairs past midnight, the sound of water running from the next room, and every person walking by and door closing in the hallway. It made for a very poor night's sleep. Overall, you get what you pay for. But the good location and friendly staff are still worth praising.
This time, I made a last-minute booking at Holiday Inn Macau. During check-in, Mr. Wang at the front desk was professional and efficient. After understanding my situation, he proactively upgraded me to an executive floor suite. He wasn't overtly enthusiastic, but his attention to detail made me feel genuinely valued.
It happened to be the fourth day of the ***** New Year, and in the morning, the hotel had a lion dance and a 'God of Wealth' performance. The atmosphere was lively but not chaotic – a nice, ceremonial touch. The executive floor was relatively quiet, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay overall.
What truly left an impression on me was what happened afterward. After checking out, I realized I had left my ring in the room, which naturally made me anxious. Upon contacting the hotel, the housekeeping manager quickly helped confirm its location and retrieve it. The entire communication process was efficient, and the sense of reassurance brought by such professionalism was more important than any physical amenity.
Macau 🇲🇴 has always been a place I've yearned to visit since I was a child. To my younger self, it was a mystery, somewhere I never imagined I'd go. As I grew older, learning about it from different angles sparked my curiosity. Today, I finally gathered the courage to step into Macau, and it's truly captivating. The Grand Lisboa Palace Hotel 🏨 provided excellent service. The staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful to visitors from the mainland, always ready to answer any questions. I'd definitely go back to Macau if I get the chance!
The L'Occitane en Provence hotel is located on the 11th and 12th floors of The Parisian Macao building. Our room, 1216, offered a view of the East Asian Games Dome, with about two-thirds of the Eiffel Tower visible from the window. The stay included breakfast for two days. On the first day, we chose the Ice Room, and while there were many options, the food quality wasn't great. On the second day, we went to Angelina, which offers a Western-style breakfast that I personally preferred.
The hotel's location is a bit out of the way. There aren't many public transport options directly outside the hotel, with only the T435 'Skating Road / The Parisian Macao' bus route available. It's about a 700-800 meter walk to the nearest Light Rapid Transit (LRT) station.
During my stay, I was incredibly impressed by both the hotel's service and its ambiance. The front desk staff were warm and meticulous, proactively asking about my needs during check-in and even thoughtfully informing me about the opening hours of nearby attractions. My room was simply decorated yet stylish, with soft, comfortable bedding and excellent blackout curtains that ensured I had a great night's sleep. The toiletries in the bathroom had a subtle, pleasant scent, demonstrating attention to detail. The restaurant's breakfast spread was extensive, offering everything from Western pastries to Chinese congee, and the chef would even adjust the food temperature according to guests' preferences. When checking out, the staff kindly helped with my luggage and gave me a souvenir with the hotel's logo, a thoughtful gesture that added many wonderful memories to my trip. Overall, the service here is professional yet personalized, making it an ideal choice for both business trips and leisure vacations.
Booked a three-night stay at the Grand Emperor Hotel in Macau starting on the seventh day of the ***** New Year. This hotel has been around for almost 20 years, but the room facilities are still relatively new and clean. It's super convenient to walk to popular spots like the Ruins of St. Paul's, Grand Lisboa Hotel, Wynn Macau, and MGM. A one-day city walk around the peninsula is definitely enough time. We even went to eat at Parlament Noodle Shop, which was just over 1km away. The hotel staff were also warm and attentive; even though it was fully booked the day we arrived, the service wasn't chaotic or slow at all.
**Transportation TIPS🪶➰** After arriving at Macau Airport, you can take the shuttle bus to Grand Lisboa Palace Hotel. Then, transfer at the hotel's B1 level to a shuttle bus going to Grand Lisboa Hotel. From there, it's just a few minutes' walk to the Grand Emperor Hotel. (For those traveling with seniors, children, or a lot of luggage, I recommend taking a taxi to avoid hassle and exhaustion.)
Our second hotel in Macau was the Grand Lisboa Palace, where we chose a LINE FRIENDS themed room. From the lobby to the room itself, adorable character elements were everywhere, instantly immersing both kids and adults in a joyful atmosphere.
We stayed in a deluxe terrace twin room with a wide-open view, offering a glimpse of the lively Macau Zipline. The bathroom in the room featured both a bathtub and a shower, perfect for unwinding after a tiring journey. Although the hotel doesn't provide disposable plastic amenities, they are easily purchased at the supermarket in the entertainment complex downstairs.
The BROWN & FRIENDS themed restaurant on the second floor was an even bigger surprise. Both the decor and the dishes continued the LINE style, which was a huge hit with the kids.
The only thing to note is that the hotel doesn't offer a shuttle bus. You can walk to the adjacent Grand Lisboa Palace to catch their shuttle, or walk 5-7 minutes to the 'East Asian Games' Light Rail station. Alternatively, you can take a taxi directly to areas like Coloane or the airport. Overall, it's still very convenient.

GGuest UserExcellent location, right next to the famous Galaxy. Easy access to entertainment and shopping, with the Asian Food Court nearby for meals. The Grand Emperor is a historic hotel, and its cleanliness and service are commendable. The prices are affordable, and transportation is convenient.

GGuest UserAn absolute gem in Coloane! Pousada De Coloane Hotel offered the perfect escape. Its location is unbeatable, right on the serene beach with stunning views of the sea and mountains.
Getting around was very convenient with a bus stop nearby. A bus to the lively Senado Square took about 30 minutes, and it was just a quick 10-minute ride to the Venetian Hotel.
The staff were wonderful—friendly, helpful, and truly dedicated to making our stay perfect.
This hotel is ideal for families looking for a safe, spacious environment, or for anyone who prefers a quiet atmosphere and enjoys a peaceful, historical vibe. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay in Macao.

GGuest UserFantastic! Exceeded expectations! My child loved it too, we'll definitely be back! The Republican-era decor is exquisite and elegant, with a unique charm. From the moment we arrived, the doormen, front desk staff, and even the ladies at the breakfast restaurant provided superb service! The location is unbeatable, convenient for getting everywhere, right next to Senado Square and the Ruins of St. Paul's. There's a huge Koi Kei Bakery downstairs, making souvenir shopping incredibly easy! There are also many well-known old eateries nearby. The room wasn't as small as some reviews suggested; my child and I found it to be a good size and very cozy. We also received a voucher for drinks at the rooftop bar, which is a must-visit! It's super photogenic! The night view 🌃 is absolutely stunning! The almond cookies and nuts in the mini-bar were delicious, and the pour-over coffee was quite good. They even included a complimentary bottle of red wine. It was clean, hygienic, and tastefully decorated, and the breakfast was very authentic! Great taste, color, and aroma! My child and I didn't want to leave 😊 We will definitely be back!
