I had a truly fantastic stay! I usually stay in Taipa, but this time I chose Harbourview Hotel since I was visiting the Grand Prix Museum the next day, and I was pleasantly surprised. Huge thanks to the hotel for upgrading me to a suite – the room was incredibly spacious, and most importantly, it was spotless and well-maintained. I'll definitely book here again on my next trip to Macau. It's super convenient; you can take the Sands shuttle and just cross the road, or use public transport as there's a bus stop right opposite the hotel. There are water dispensers in the hallway, though only cold water, which was perfectly fine.
Happy to get upgraded to a suite. Appreciate the customer service of their staff very much! They were proactive to offer help and reacted fast to solve any problems arise. They would also go an extra step to make their customers satisfied and happy. Overall cleanliness is good. Bed is comfy. Gym room and indoor swimming pool is nice too. The only drawback is the outdoor swimming pool not opened due to construction which we didn’t know ahead. But it was still a very pleasant stay. Big thanks to the staff:)
The Grand Dragon Hotel is conveniently located close to the airport and Taipa Village, with a taxi stand right outside. I heard that Grand Lapa Hotel is owned by the same company. I booked a high-floor room with a bathtub online in advance. The room wasn't huge, and thankfully, the power outlets didn't require an adapter. The front desk is on the 21st floor. For check-in, you'll need your Hong Kong and Macau travel permit and the printed immigration slip (the small white one). A deposit is also required, which you can pay via Alipay by scanning a QR code. Overall, the service was pretty good. Just a heads-up, food deliveries can only be brought to the hotel entrance.
The hotel's location is great, not far from the city rail, making transportation convenient. It's in a residential area with supermarkets and chain restaurants nearby, and there's also a restaurant in the hotel building offering a buffet. However, the hotel's amenities are old and outdated; for example, the hairdryer button was missing, and the TV is a small 24-inch model with no smart features or casting options. Given the price, I can't complain too much.
The only major downside, as others have mentioned, is the terrible soundproofing. I could hear people walking upstairs past midnight, the sound of water running from the next room, and every person walking by and door closing in the hallway. It made for a very poor night's sleep. Overall, you get what you pay for. But the good location and friendly staff are still worth praising.
This time, I made a last-minute booking at Holiday Inn Macau. During check-in, Mr. Wang at the front desk was professional and efficient. After understanding my situation, he proactively upgraded me to an executive floor suite. He wasn't overtly enthusiastic, but his attention to detail made me feel genuinely valued.
It happened to be the fourth day of the ***** New Year, and in the morning, the hotel had a lion dance and a 'God of Wealth' performance. The atmosphere was lively but not chaotic – a nice, ceremonial touch. The executive floor was relatively quiet, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay overall.
What truly left an impression on me was what happened afterward. After checking out, I realized I had left my ring in the room, which naturally made me anxious. Upon contacting the hotel, the housekeeping manager quickly helped confirm its location and retrieve it. The entire communication process was efficient, and the sense of reassurance brought by such professionalism was more important than any physical amenity.
The location is a bit out of the way. From the border gate, you can take a ride to Grand Lisboa Palace and then walk to the hotel entrance. For other destinations, there's a bus stop right outside the hotel.
Upon check-in, they give you Wynn Palace cable car tickets that let you skip the line! Just show the ticket at the Wynn Palace cable car station, and you can head straight to the second floor, avoiding the long queues!
The double suite is spacious and bright, and the hygiene is excellent.
There's a shopping mall and a food street on the hotel's ground floor.
The L'Occitane en Provence hotel is located on the 11th and 12th floors of The Parisian Macao building. Our room, 1216, offered a view of the East Asian Games Dome, with about two-thirds of the Eiffel Tower visible from the window. The stay included breakfast for two days. On the first day, we chose the Ice Room, and while there were many options, the food quality wasn't great. On the second day, we went to Angelina, which offers a Western-style breakfast that I personally preferred.
The hotel's location is a bit out of the way. There aren't many public transport options directly outside the hotel, with only the T435 'Skating Road / The Parisian Macao' bus route available. It's about a 700-800 meter walk to the nearest Light Rapid Transit (LRT) station.
During my stay, I was incredibly impressed by both the hotel's service and its ambiance. The front desk staff were warm and meticulous, proactively asking about my needs during check-in and even thoughtfully informing me about the opening hours of nearby attractions. My room was simply decorated yet stylish, with soft, comfortable bedding and excellent blackout curtains that ensured I had a great night's sleep. The toiletries in the bathroom had a subtle, pleasant scent, demonstrating attention to detail. The restaurant's breakfast spread was extensive, offering everything from Western pastries to Chinese congee, and the chef would even adjust the food temperature according to guests' preferences. When checking out, the staff kindly helped with my luggage and gave me a souvenir with the hotel's logo, a thoughtful gesture that added many wonderful memories to my trip. Overall, the service here is professional yet personalized, making it an ideal choice for both business trips and leisure vacations.
I'm a returning guest, and this is always my top choice whenever I'm back in the Central District. This time, I was once again given a high-floor room with a view of the [specific landmark, e.g., Victoria Harbour/a particular building, assuming '某利' refers to something specific like '利园' (Lee Garden) or a similar landmark - if not, it's best to leave it vague or generalize as 'the city view']. It would be even better if I could get a complimentary room upgrade next time! My child loves the cakes from the nearby Sogo (or Daimaru, depending on '佰伴') supermarket, which is super convenient for shopping 😁. The hotel's surroundings are excellent, and best of all, the bus goes directly to the border crossing, which is incredibly convenient as you don't have to wait for a ride.
Our second hotel in Macau was the Grand Lisboa Palace, where we chose a LINE FRIENDS themed room. From the lobby to the room itself, adorable character elements were everywhere, instantly immersing both kids and adults in a joyful atmosphere.
We stayed in a deluxe terrace twin room with a wide-open view, offering a glimpse of the lively Macau Zipline. The bathroom in the room featured both a bathtub and a shower, perfect for unwinding after a tiring journey. Although the hotel doesn't provide disposable plastic amenities, they are easily purchased at the supermarket in the entertainment complex downstairs.
The BROWN & FRIENDS themed restaurant on the second floor was an even bigger surprise. Both the decor and the dishes continued the LINE style, which was a huge hit with the kids.
The only thing to note is that the hotel doesn't offer a shuttle bus. You can walk to the adjacent Grand Lisboa Palace to catch their shuttle, or walk 5-7 minutes to the 'East Asian Games' Light Rail station. Alternatively, you can take a taxi directly to areas like Coloane or the airport. Overall, it's still very convenient.

DDongshengAlthough the hotel looks a bit old, it offers good value for money and is clean and tidy. The service is also decent. The breakfast is simple, but it met my basic needs. It's very close to the MTR station and Rua da Cunha, and right opposite Galaxy Macau, which is convenient for concerts.
GGuest UserVery clean and very good!
I went with my baby, and the Grand Prix Museum is just a short walk away. The transportation is incredibly convenient.
The lady at the front desk was very friendly.
The breakfast was delicious.

GGuest UserCleanliness: There were some small gnats and mold on the shower curtain, but that's pretty normal for a beachfront location.
Ambiance: The soundproofing wasn't great, and even with an air purifier on, there was a strange smell in the first-floor hallway. However, the sea view is unbeatable, and you can walk right down to the beach for a swim.
Service: Breakfast was provided, which was nice.
Facilities: Taking a shower in the tub was a bit awkward, and I'm not used to shower curtains. There's no elevator, so you have to carry your own luggage.
Nevertheless, I'm really grateful that they didn't hike up their prices multiple times during peak season like other hotels, and that incredible sea view truly made up for everything! I hope they continue to improve.

GGuest UserFantastic! Exceeded expectations! My child loved it too, we'll definitely be back! The Republican-era decor is exquisite and elegant, with a unique charm. From the moment we arrived, the doormen, front desk staff, and even the ladies at the breakfast restaurant provided superb service! The location is unbeatable, convenient for getting everywhere, right next to Senado Square and the Ruins of St. Paul's. There's a huge Koi Kei Bakery downstairs, making souvenir shopping incredibly easy! There are also many well-known old eateries nearby. The room wasn't as small as some reviews suggested; my child and I found it to be a good size and very cozy. We also received a voucher for drinks at the rooftop bar, which is a must-visit! It's super photogenic! The night view 🌃 is absolutely stunning! The almond cookies and nuts in the mini-bar were delicious, and the pour-over coffee was quite good. They even included a complimentary bottle of red wine. It was clean, hygienic, and tastefully decorated, and the breakfast was very authentic! Great taste, color, and aroma! My child and I didn't want to leave 😊 We will definitely be back!
