As soon as we entered, the authentic ******* decor immediately immersed us in a wonderful atmosphere. The front desk staff were incredibly efficient with check-in, and they even upgraded our room for free! While we waited, we sipped on rhodiola tea and enjoyed a welcome dance – it was an amazing experience. The room design was thoughtful, the amenities were high-end, and every little detail exuded quality. This is the first hidden gem of a hotel that has made us fall in love with an entire city just because of our stay there!

Hampton by Hilton Shannan is a new hotel that only opened at the end of 2024. The hotel's facilities are very complete, all are intelligent voice control, the mattress is very comfortable, and very clean, the room is large, the toilet in the bathroom is a smart toilet, more advanced than the one in my house, can be remote control, remote control smart toilet This is very suitable for me, Because I'm hard on the toilet on the ordinary. And one thing worthy of praise is that the lobby manager also helped me book 5 rooms at Hilton Huiting Hotel Lhasa. The price is 80 yuan cheaper than the above. This service can be praised. Facilities: The room type was very spacious, I booked a two-bed room this time. The cleanliness was acceptable, but the facilities were a bit old, and there was some water leakage. Room service was prompt. Minibar: Good. 24-hour oxygen supply service: This was very important, especially the 24-hour medical room. Due to severe altitude sickness for the first few days, I spent most of my time in the medical room. Only after taking medication and receiving oxygen could I manage to walk around a bit outside. Cleanliness: Acceptable, and the turndown service was also good. Environment: This is arguably the best in Lhasa. After staying one day elsewhere, I spent the remaining days at The St. Regis. During my stay in Lhasa, I mostly dined and engaged in activities at the hotel. The room layout was very well-proportioned, and maintenance was decent. Afternoon tea was just okay, but the Western restaurant had excellent food, and the sweet tea was the best. Service: The butler, Tina, was excellent. Her service was attentive throughout, and I was very satisfied. Next time I visit Lhasa, I definitely won't choose any other hotel. She even proactively checked in on my well-being.

This was one of the most satisfying hotels on our Tibet trip. The entire place had a very distinct and local character. When they found out we were on our honeymoon, they upgraded us to a room with a terrace and a bathtub. Our butler, Tsering Dhondup, brought our luggage to the room and gave us a very detailed and thoughtful explanation of everything. He also set up a group chat, and his responses were always prompt. The hotel owner has excellent personal taste; guests receive a complimentary hat and a collection of Tsangyang Gyatso's poems. The mini-bar and snacks are restocked daily, and a 'goodnight drink' is provided every evening. We went out sightseeing on the night we checked in, and were pleasantly surprised the next morning to find that they had even set up a table and chairs on the terrace. The hotel offers a wide range of activities from morning till night. We participated in a sound bath session, which was a unique experience. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Lhasa.

She not only decorated our room with a lovely birthday setup in advance but also prepared exquisite desserts, with surprises at every turn. Throughout our stay, the Rhodiola tea service was a delightful touch, allowing us to enjoy a warm cup amidst our busy schedule. This perfect level of consideration completely exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered a great view, ensuring a good night's rest. There was no forced pleasantry, just a genuine and appropriate level of care that made us feel respected and valued. This was a truly reassuring and warm stay, and it will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Shigatse. I sincerely recommend it to anyone looking for quality and warmth.

The room was spotless, and the view of the Potala Palace from here was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is perfectly situated right behind and to the right of the Potala Palace, making my windowsill my 'personal viewing platform': At midday, wisps of clouds drifted across its white walls and golden roofs, as if a breathing quilt was draped over the ancient palace; In the evening, the setting sun painted the Red Palace a honeyed hue, and as prayer flags fluttered in the wind, they seemed like countless hands applauding it; The moment the night lights came on, the entire palace suddenly 'came alive' – like an ancient ship moored in the darkness, carrying the stories of the Tubo Dynasty, slowly sailing towards the myriad lights of modern Lhasa. The complimentary biscuits were delicious, and the other snacks were great too! The butler and front desk service were warm and attentive. I arrived close to 2 PM, having not yet eaten, and the small eatery they recommended – the third shop after turning right from the hotel – was absolutely delightful.

My stay at the Shangri-La Hotel in Lhasa was absolutely impeccable from start to finish. The airport pickup service was punctual and attentive. The driver was calm and professional, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey. Throughout our trip, the hotel arranged a dedicated driver to take us to Jokhang Temple and Potala Palace. The routes were well-planned, the driving was steady, and he waited patiently, allowing us to easily visit these sacred sites without any worries. I must give special praise to our butler, Zhixi. His service was incredibly meticulous and he anticipated our every need. From guiding us during check-in and offering itinerary suggestions to providing tips for high altitude, he followed up attentively throughout, always responsive to our requests. He handled every small detail with such care and thoughtfulness, making us feel completely at ease. The dining experience at the restaurant was excellent. The dishes were varied, delicious, and of high quality. A special thanks to Dekyi Wangmo for her exceptional care. Her service was warm and attentive; she proactively anticipated our needs, from taking orders to refilling tea and providing thoughtful details. The dining atmosphere was cozy and pleasant, and we enjoyed every meal thoroughly. This was especially helpful for us who experienced some altitude sickness. Standard hotel services were also top-notch. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were humble, courteous, and responded quickly. Whether it was helping with facilities, addressing requests, or providing temporary assistance, they were efficient and warm, truly making us feel at home. From airport transfers and butler service to restaurant care, the Shangri-La Hotel's exceptional dedication protected our entire journey, making our high-altitude trip warm and smooth.

Facilities: This was the only guesthouse I stayed at in Lhasa. The room had no unpleasant odors, no dampness, and no cigarette smoke. The downstairs decor was also nice, and the overall facilities felt very new! (However, the fireplace wasn't working; I really wanted to light some firewood for a photo, what a pity!) There was a bathtub, and heaven knows how wonderful it is to take a bath after a long drive—it's so necessary! The hairdryer was a Dyson, and the toiletries were individually packaged and smelled amazing! I absolutely loved the body lotion! Cleanliness: Good. I checked the bedding, and it was all very good! Environment: The interior is just a small courtyard, but there's a gate that can be closed, so it's quite safe at night! The rooms don't have any views; you can only see the Rainbow Courtyard. None of the rooms have a view of the Potala Palace, perhaps due to the location… Service: Excellent! Everything was responded to very quickly! The staff helped us with our luggage; we bought a lot of things towards the end of the trip, thank you! They also provided some local restaurant recommendations. The tip is that when we checked in, they gave us two complimentary drinks at the guesthouse bar downstairs, but no one reminded us (or maybe they did remind me and I forgot, only noticing when we left), so we went out for a drink. When we came back, we checked out the bar downstairs, and the ambiance and atmosphere were quite nice! They should have reminded us!! The breakfast was amazing! Much better than that five-star hotel! The staff were very attentive, clearing and returning our plates promptly. The rice noodles were incredibly delicious; I ate so much by myself… The yak yogurt had a strong flavor, and it tasted very authentic! In short, it was really delicious!!!

To the west of Tibet, all the way to Ngari, and from Zhongba to Ngari, the average altitude is more than 4,000, which is indeed a bit overwhelming. In comparison, the altitude of Burang County is very good, more than 3,000. For people who have traveled all the way to Tibet to adapt to the high altitude, this altitude can be easily handled, which is considered very low. It’s not too far away from Mount Kailash, and it’s only about an hour’s drive away. Better than living at high altitude. The hotel is newly opened. I heard from the owner that it has been renovated for more than a year. Needless to say, it is safe. The building is home-made and the equipment is safe to use. It will be more convenient to travel after the airport opens. The hotel environment is very quiet and the bedding is comfortable, which is helpful for sleeping and ensures a good rest for the next day's itinerary. Breakfast is a buffet with many varieties. The steamed buns and steamed buns are all handmade. This is really nice, especially in such a remote county where supplies are not abundant in the mainland. It is not easy to be very humble and enthusiastic in a small place. It is a joy to have friends from far away, which is fully demonstrated in the Pulan store.
