5-Star Hotels in Tibet, China

This hotel deserves all the praise! The moment we stepped into the parking lot, we were greeted by that signature scent of a five-star hotel. As soon as we entered, the authentic ******* decor immediately immersed us in a wonderful atmosphere. The front desk staff were incredibly efficient with check-in, and they even upgraded our room for free! While we waited, we sipped on rhodiola tea and enjoyed a welcome dance – it was an amazing experience. The room design was thoughtful, the amenities were high-end, and every little detail exuded quality. This is the first hidden gem of a hotel that has made us fall in love with an entire city just because of our stay there!

Hampton by Hilton Shannan is a new hotel that will open at the end of 2024. The hotel's facilities are very complete, all of which are intelligent voice controlled. The mattress is very comfortable and clean. The room is large, and the toilet in the bathroom is a smart toilet, which is more advanced than the one in my home and can be controlled by remote control. The remote-controlled smart toilet is very suitable for me because it is difficult for me to use the toilet on an ordinary toilet. When we arrived at the hotel, we were given a free room upgrade and welcome fruit. The Coke, 7-Up, soda and mineral water in the hotel minibar were all free. The breakfast had a wide variety of dishes and tasted great. The price was well worth it. One thing worth praising is that the lobby manager also helped me book 5 rooms at Hilton Garden Inn Lhasa, the price was 80 yuan cheaper per room than on Ctrip. This service can only be praised. Next time I travel to Shannan, I will stay here again.

When I first saw that it opened in 2010, my heart sank a little, fearing the facilities might be outdated. But I decided to give it a try. As soon as the car entered the main gate, I was blown away. Especially after going up the slope and entering the second gate, it felt like an ancient ******* manor. The entire hotel exuded a grand yet culturally rich atmosphere. It perfectly showcased the sophisticated essence of ******* culture. The rooms are huge, mostly over 50-60 square meters, and the temperature inside was very comfortable, without that stale smell you often find in older hotels. The only thing I'd complain about is that for a hotel in this price range, the breakfast selection isn't very extensive. Overall, it's the absolute best in Lhasa. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on future visits.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! I absolutely love the Tibetan-inspired zen decor throughout. Honestly, I found myself missing Vanlann (the hotel name) when I stayed at other hotels afterwards; I felt completely spoiled by it. The sweet tea before bed, the daily clean clothes, and the exceptionally good quality welcome fruit – it all added up to a super thoughtful and comfortable experience. Highly recommend!

Celebrating my birthday at the Hilton Shigatse was truly a heartwarming experience, filled with thoughtful details. From the moment we arrived, Kerry was incredibly attentive. She not only decorated our room with a lovely birthday setup in advance but also prepared exquisite desserts, with surprises at every turn. Throughout our stay, the Rhodiola tea service was a delightful touch, allowing us to enjoy a warm cup amidst our busy schedule. This perfect level of consideration completely exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered a great view, ensuring a good night's rest. There was no forced pleasantry, just a genuine and appropriate level of care that made us feel respected and valued. This was a truly reassuring and warm stay, and it will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Shigatse. I sincerely recommend it to anyone looking for quality and warmth.

The hotel is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Rooms feature a 24-hour oxygen supply, with quiet wall-mounted diffusers or nasal cannulas available, and the system is virtually silent. The rooms themselves are clean, featuring smart toilets and automatic curtains. There's a self-service laundry room equipped with dryers. The hotel has a large parking lot and its location is convenient for transportation. Additionally, there's a viewing deck with a great view of the Potala Palace. Our butler, Zaxi, was outstanding, incredibly thoughtful, and responsive to our every need. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

The hotel was clean and tidy, and the rooms were well-equipped with oxygen concentrators and humidifiers. The front desk staff and other hotel employees were all very friendly and accommodating. We received complimentary fruit in our room, and the living room offered a direct view of the Potala Palace. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the staff at the executive lounge were very enthusiastic with their service. Although I experienced some altitude sickness, the hotel's thoughtful service made our stay very comfortable and pleasant.

The hotel was absolutely amazing. I arrived around 8 PM, and they immediately offered me sweet tea and asked me to sit down and rest. The hotel staff had already checked me in. The air conditioning and oxygen generator were already on in the room, and the white fungus porridge on the table was at the perfect temperature. The overall facilities were excellent, the shower gel smelled wonderful, and the room was very clean. The kettle boiled water quickly, and the service was great. The only downside was the TV; it could be upgraded. The breakfast was delicious, especially the rice noodles—I ate two bowls! The chicken sausage was also excellent; many dishes featured beef and chicken, which are suitable for ethnic minorities, which was a big plus. The stir-fried ******* noodles were delicious, and the yogurt was also very good. However, the toppings were just average, and the honey was a little too sweet. But overall, it was fantastic. They first poured me a cup of tea, then I asked for hot milk, and they even prepared hot coffee for me – very thoughtful. The next morning, I had to catch a flight at 7 am, so I asked the hotel if they could prepare breakfast, and they thoughtfully provided bread, water, and milk. The hotel offered a choice between afternoon tea and evening drinks; I chose the drinks because I was busy in the afternoon and didn't go for the afternoon tea, but the drinks were truly amazing and delicious. Just look at the pictures! They gave me a gin and tonic, the orange one was Blood and Sand, the one with cucumber was Moscow Mule, and the red wine was Sangria. That was my order. The Blood and Sand and Sangria were very good (I recommend drinking the Sangria last). I also left an unused oxygen cylinder for you.

Had a fantastic stay in Lhasa! The room was well-ventilated, so I didn't have to worry about altitude sickness at all. The staff at the front desk, both the ladies and gentlemen, were incredibly warm and welcoming, even presenting us with traditional Hada scarves. Breakfast offered a great variety of options. The robot delivery service to our door was a convenient touch. The location is super convenient, just a few kilometers from the Potala Palace, making it easy to get around. The ******* atmosphere is so immersive, and the ******* incense was incredibly soothing. Plus, shopping and dining nearby were a breeze. Excellent hotel, I'll definitely choose this one again next time I visit!

Route 219 traveled to Tibet + Xinjiang. After coming down from the Everest base camp, my friend and I stepped on the accelerator and drove 1,000 kilometers to Pulan, preparing to start the trip to the Ngari region. In the room, after learning that we had not eaten dinner, we immediately went to the restaurant to cook instant noodles for us. Our friends who were traveling with us were very touched and felt like home. The guest room is also very atmospheric, the mattress is very comfortable, and the hygiene is very clean. The room is specially equipped with a humidifier. I have a good rest throughout the night. The room is large enough, and the configuration and layout are very comfortable. The staff are also very professional, very skilled in responding to various inquiries, handle problems very well, and are able to provide services to customers. I really want to thank the two young brothers here. They are really heart-warming. One helped carry the luggage and the other helped cook the instant noodles. They really made the customers feel at home. They were very moved. (I usually stay at a five-star hotel.) There are also many hotels, but there are really not many people who cook instant noodles in the middle of the night. What you eat is not important.
