A pub and hotel all in one. We had the studio or 'flat' on the top floor. The room was comfortable, although a slightly unusual configuration with one internal bedroom having a lock on the door. The main problem was the shower, which was either red hot or freezing cold, with low water pressure. The B&B only included a continental breakfast which was fine. It cost a £9 upgrade to have a full English which we didn't try. The pub was lively with a good atmosphere. Beds were reasonably comfortable.

Friendly pub with nice staff. Check in was pleasant and efficient. Room was adequate and better equipped than many hotels. I hated the tiny hanbasin for shaving. The floors were a little creaky, however this did not disturb my sleep!! Parking is a little hit and miss but managed with my itinerary lol. Excellent Real Ale in the friendly bar.

Lovely place, friendly staff. But having no hair dryer is not convenient.
