QQinghexuxianzhiGot a room upgrade, which was a nice surprise! The hotel is very close to The Bund, and Yu Garden station is within walking distance, making transportation very convenient. The room was quite soundproof, and unlike other hotels on this trip, there was no sewage odor. Breakfast was also good with plenty of options. Overall, I recommend staying here.

AAnonymous UserExtremely satisfied with my stay. Even though I didn't win anything in the many raffles, the front desk still gave me a little lion toy. The service was thoughtful in every aspect, and the hotel was very relaxing. The room with a terrace was truly fantastic; the actual view was exactly like in the promotional pictures. The iconic Shanghai skyline in the distance and the serene Suzhou River downstairs created a striking contrast, adding a unique charm. And most importantly, you can smoke out there! 🤦♂️ Five-star recommendation.

GGuest UserWe stayed here with our child during our trip to Shanghai. Unfortunately, my child wasn't feeling well, but the service was excellent. Lily was incredibly thoughtful, bringing us a cup of hot water and a fever patch.
The hotel itself is quiet and elegant, a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle, yet still boasts a prime river view. Our room was bright with great views, and the bedding was super comfortable. After we checked out, Cynthia even called to check in on us. It's truly a wonderful place to relax and unwind.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the remote area in Shanghai. It worked well for me as I was on a business trip and had meetings in the area. But I would not recommend it for tourists. It was more than 1 hour drive without traffic from Shanghai center. Hotel was clean. But there was noise disturbance due to some parties / night club, drunk people. Also air con was not working and it was very warm in the room, although it was January and cold outside

GGuest UserThe best location ever! 🤩🤩🤩 in a historical building 😍😍😍 that is amazing!!!!! and now I would like to share some information why it’s not perfect: Not enough usb chargers for two phones and a power bank….an air conditioning (heater) was pretty loud🥺 and the hotel stuff wanted to enter my room in the morning (well, they were insisting to enter) when I wanted to sleep so much after several nights with no sleep at all… and I still don’t understand why, because they talk in Chinese……. Anyways, it’s a good hotel to stay and explore beautiful Shanghai 👌

GGuest UserCame here for a New Year's gathering with friends. The room was incredibly spacious, the bed was huge and very clean, almost like a mini-suite. The swimming and fitness facilities were all well-equipped, and any issues that arose were resolved promptly. The service was also excellent; they brought glasses and ice cubes right away when requested. I also thought the outdoor pool looked lovely; it would be great to stay here for a few days in the summer.

AAnonymous UserPros: The pool boasts stunning views, including the Oriental Pearl Tower, making for a beautiful night scene. I highly recommend guests experience the pool, and the gym right next to it offers equally great views.
The Cantonese restaurant, Shangxi, on the second floor, was excellent. The portions were just right for two people, and the fried rice and smoked fish were outstanding. It’s a restaurant I’d definitely visit again – a real pleasant surprise.
Cons: The room facilities are outdated. The bedside outlets weren't working, and the water heater cover was difficult to open and close – everything felt old. The room's decor also felt very dated.
When checking in, the front desk staff didn't proactively provide information about breakfast, the pool, or Wi-Fi, including their respective floors and times. I suggest providing proper training on standard operating procedures for five-star hotel employees.
Neutral: The breakfast variety was acceptable, neither too much nor too little. However, I'd suggest kitchen staff refrain from using foul language where guests can hear it in the lobby. You can order different egg dishes, and the taste was decent, neither good nor bad.

Ssisirain1During the Chinese New Year holiday, the hotel was quite busy, and rooms were scarce. However, Roman Zhang, the manager at the front desk, kindly upgraded my room for free, which saved me a lot of waiting time. The room itself was quite spacious. The hotel also has a gym, a swimming pool, and a lobby bar. Plus, food deliveries can be brought directly to your room by a robot. Overall, it was a pretty good stay.

AAUHNEESHXiao Ding was very kind and helpful during our stay. We were able to communicate with her on WeChat if we needed anything. She helped us order our food the first night we arrived. We ended up extending our stay and the hotel was very accommodating. We will be staying here again. The view from our suite is amazing!
