__WeChat229852****Staying at the Bellagio Shanghai on the Bund, right in the heart of the city, far exceeded my expectations. It's definitely one of the most satisfying hotel experiences I've had recently.
**Environment and Room:** The hotel is located by the Suzhou Creek, right next to the Waibaidu Bridge, making it incredibly convenient to get to both the Bund and Nanjing Road. The room itself was incredibly spacious, with a modern and luxurious design, impeccably maintained and spotlessly clean. Most importantly, the soundproofing was excellent, allowing for a perfectly quiet night's sleep even in the bustling city center.
**Dining Experience:** Breakfast was semi-buffet style, offering both a rich variety of choices and exquisite presentation. The buffet items were fresh, and the à la carte dishes were truly a highlight. Whether it was the Chinese dim sum or the Western omelets, everything was prepared with great care, and the taste was impressive.
**Service Quality:** From check-in to check-out, the service was consistently excellent. Ellie and Moon were professional yet friendly, always responsive to our needs, making us feel comfortable and at ease.
Overall, this is a hotel that perfectly combines location, facilities, dining, and service. It's highly recommended for guests who value quality in their travels.

SShazia Casoojee My second time staying at this hotel and yet another wonderful, comfortable experience! The room was big, bed was super comfortable. It's also equipped with a beautiful bathroom that has a lovely sized bath tub. The front desk staff are incredibly professional and friendly. I paid extra for the breakfast buffet which is well worth it. A nice variety of food, fruits and breads. They also provided free shuttle service to and from the MXGP track which was super helpful and convenient. Really enjoy staying at this hotel and I enjoy the peaceful feeling I get when I visit Fengxian. A cute, quaint little town.

MM220121****Staying at the Banyan Tree Shanghai on the Bund was an absolutely perfect experience! The hotel's location is superb, offering breathtaking views of the Bund right from your window. The rooms are elegantly decorated and fully equipped, with thoughtful touches everywhere. From the warm and attentive doorman to the professional and meticulous butler team, especially Lily, every staff member made us feel incredibly comfortable. With top-notch facilities and exceptionally warm service, this is definitely the best hotel choice for a trip to Shanghai!

My only regret is that after having breakfast three times, the options were largely the same. This hotel has a lot of history, and overall, I had a great experience.

MMelody mengA very satisfying stay. The room was incredibly clean; even though it's an older hotel, it smelled fresh with no peculiar odors. The room facilities weren't outdated either, feeling quite high-quality. The service was excellent, with staff from the front desk to housekeeping being warm and attentive.
The surrounding area has plenty of businesses, with a rich variety of Chinese and international restaurants and snacks. The hotel entrance is right at People's Square subway station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around.
The only minor regret is that the classic red roses were replaced with pink ones. Personally, I think the red ones were more elegant and timeless.

GGuest UserLocation of the hotel is quite central and about 15-20mins walk to the Bund or Yu Yuan.
Their room is generally quite clean and well maintained with some old marks around but overall was a pretty comfortable stay.
The staff there were all very friendly and helpful making the stay pleasant.
There is also free self service laundry for guest but the only issue is it only opens from 9am to 10pm which pretty much is only useful if you are staying in the hotel and not doing anything as there's not much facility in the hotel.

A near-perfect experience, despite a few minor flaws.
**The Lounge and Oriental Pearl View Room Offer an Unbeatable View!**
I could actually gaze across the river at the W Hotel (nicknamed 'Seagull Regent'), Shanghai Mansions, Waibaidu Bridge, Bellagio by MGM Suzhou, and the Postal Museum. It truly lives up to the foundation left by Four Seasons, a definite head start.
**The Lounge:**
The club team provides attentive service. Special thanks to the two lovely ladies who handled my check-in and mixed cocktails. The savory items at afternoon tea deserve high praise. The four window-side tables are highly sought after. It would be even better if there were freshly stir-fried vegetables during happy hour, a wider variety of T9 tea bags, and if the ice cream's sweetness could be reduced. Of course, for bar snacks, one shouldn't expect too much. The lounge breakfast is very peaceful.
**The Room:**
**Cons:** Manual toilet, old-fashioned Braun hairdryer (usable, but not high-speed and quite heavy). During check-in, I wasn't asked if I needed a toothbrush and toothpaste. The complimentary dental kit provided a rather large tube of toothpaste.
**Pros:** Room service is quick to respond. The toiletries are still Perricone MD, but without the magnolia scent. Turndown service replaced used towels. The long sofa and bed-end stool were very well-maintained, unlike the often grubby sofas in most hotels.
**The Pool:**
To take photos at the pool, you can change into slippers and then use the staff entrance. Thanks to the lifeguard for the tip! I'd suggest the fitness center front desk staff explain this more clearly to guests who are there for photos. The next morning, I went for a swim. The water quality was excellent, and while the temperature was a bit low, it was suitable for exercise. Being on the 41st floor, the highest point of the hotel, both the pool and hot tub offer expansive views. Unfortunately, the swimsuit spin dryer in the changing room was under maintenance. On the plus side, the shower water pressure was much stronger than in the guest room showers.
**Luggage and Concierge Services After Checkout:**
These services also maintained the positive impression.

The hotel is conveniently located, and the room facilities are quite good. The mattress is very soft and comfortable, and the hot water comes quickly. Everything is pretty well-equipped. The service is very thoughtful, even providing an electric heater!
There's a Gujing Gong Liquor Museum on the first floor. I recommend culturally inclined people check it out; it's very unique!

The front desk staff are warm and friendly, patiently answering various questions and proactively providing thoughtful service, instantly bringing a sense of warmth.
The room is clean and tidy, with a rational layout. The space is spacious and bright, and it is well-ventilated and well-lit, with no unpleasant odors whatsoever. The bedding is soft and comfortable, with a mattress of moderate hardness, ensuring a good night's sleep until dawn. The toiletries are complete and of superior quality, and the bathroom features a scientifically designed separation of dry and wet areas, ensuring thorough cleaning without stains. The room is well-equipped and brand-new. The air conditioning provides excellent heating and cooling performance, has a full network signal, abundant TV programs, and a stable and sufficient hot water supply. Every detail demonstrates thoughtful attention.
The hotel offers a quiet and elegant environment, with clean and orderly public areas. The decoration style is minimalist and elegant, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, combining Chinese and Western elements. The ingredients are fresh and high-quality, delicious, and can meet diverse taste preferences, thus starting a vibrant and energetic day. If you have any needs during this period, contact customer service will be able to respond quickly and properly resolve them. The service is professional and considerate, providing a comprehensive and immersive experience throughout the entire process.
