The flaws are in the room which is very narrow and the hairdryer is dated and slow."

"I would have given them a higher score but we had a few issues. First the restaurant and bar were closed on one of the 2 nights we stayed. For a premium cost hotel I would expect to be able to get a drink in the bar. Breakfast was really poor. It was included in our rate but consisted of stale croissant and pan au chocolat. Poor selection of cured meat and cheese and one bowl of fruit salad. No toast. I asked for an egg and my daughter a crepe. We were charged an extra £25! Hotel was otherwise in a good location and rooms were lovely. New member of staff had started that day and he was brilliant."

The swimming pool was perfect for cooling down after exploring Venice during the hot summer days, and the pool area is peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable, and everything was well maintained. We travelled as a family with one child. At check-in we were mistakenly given a double room, but after informing the staff, they immediately prepared and gave us a suitable family room, which we really appreciated. The breakfast offered a great variety of delicious options and was a perfect way to start the day. The bar also had a good selection of drinks and ice creams, which our child loved. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for families visiting Venice."
