Sunshine Hotel VENICE

The hotel is so close to the train station that you can see its sign right from the station entrance. When I came back at night, they even helped me bring my luggage into the room – seriously, who understands the tears of joy from getting service like that in Europe? In the morning, when I checked out with a lot of bags, they helped me open the door. It was really wonderful. They gave me a room with a double-door balcony, the bathroom was lovely, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. They even provided disposable slippers! The restaurant downstairs has delicious food, offers a discount, and is very personable. I'll definitely be back!

A clean and quiet hotel, super close to the station! Downstairs is a Chinese restaurant run by a Chinese owner, and the food is quite good. The entire family is very nice; all three sons are enthusiastic and helpful. It's very convenient for going to the island, and offers great value for money.

The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite the train station, just a two to three-minute walk away. They have a Chinese restaurant on-site, offering discounts to guests, and the food is quite good. The staff provides great service, and it's very convenient that they speak Chinese. However, the facilities are a letdown. The elevator only goes to the first floor, so if you're on the second floor, you have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Also, the shower drain is incredibly slow; a quick shower causes the water to almost completely overflow, making the bathroom floor a messy puddle afterward. While bottled water is provided in the room, there's no kettle for hot water. The air conditioning is present, but because the room is small, it blows directly onto the bed. Turning it off makes the room stuffy, and opening the window brings in noise, which is quite inconvenient. The bathroom is also tiny, with no place to hang clothes or towels. There are no cups, which makes brushing teeth a bit inconvenient.

The hotel is quite new, so there's a slight lingering smell from the renovation. The air freshener was a bit strong, which I'd suggest they tone down. The small balcony was a nice touch. Its location is super convenient, just across the street from the train station. The Sichuan restaurant downstairs is delicious and highly recommended. During my stay, the hot water system broke, but the staff were very responsible and offered compensation and a solution. If you're checking in or out very early, I'd recommend adding the staff on WeChat for easier communication.

Great value for money, and the restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel serves delicious food. Next time I'm in Venice, I'll definitely stay here again!
