B&B HOTEL Venezia Laguna

I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It's very well located right next to a vaporetto stop, making it quite easy to get around. The hotel is clean and the terrace area in front of the hotel is very pleasant, offering a beautiful view of the lagoon. I recommend it!

This was a very clean and comfortable hotel. The price was reasonable, so I think it offers great value for money. It was conveniently located near the ferry terminal, providing good access to the main island of Venice, which made it a perfect base for sightseeing. The air conditioning worked very well, and I had a comfortable stay. I would love to stay here again if I have the chance. There were also lockers available for a fee, which was a great help.

Although the hotel is a bit off the main road, Boat No. 2 is right outside, making it super convenient to get everywhere. The best part is the affordable price, and the breakfast is really good too. I think it's much better than staying in those small guesthouses on the island.

This was the second B&B on our trip. It's newly opened, so the facilities are very clean and fresh. Parking costs 25 Euros per day. There was no anti-slip mat in the bathroom (though many Italian hotels lack them), and I actually slipped. If it were a child or an elderly person, the consequences could be serious, so this is something to be aware of. Overall, it was a good stay.

The hotel exterior looks very new, but the bathroom facilities might have maintenance issues. The sink drains very slowly, and the shower door needs a good tug to close properly. The breakfast was good and met basic needs. The hotel is located on a new island at the edge of the main island, and it's very convenient to get to the main island by light rail. Unfortunately, we happened to visit during a strike, which slightly dampened the experience.

I rarely book 3-star hotels, so I was quite taken aback when, upon arriving at 11 AM, I was asked to pay a fee to store my luggage. It felt like they were pushing me to pay more for an early check-in instead. Then, on top of the room rate, I had to pay an additional 22 Euros for city tax. We were given a room on the 3rd floor, which we accessed with a code. It faced almost directly onto the entrance/exit of an underground parking garage of the building opposite, and the noise was incredibly loud. I confirmed that there was no room orientation option when booking, and when I asked the front desk, I was told all other rooms were booked! The next morning, the breakfast restaurant was bustling – everyone really seemed to enjoy it. I guess it must be because of the convenient transportation? You can take the 'fishbone bridge' train and the water bus from there.
