5-Star Hotels in Foshan

We came specifically for the pool, which has a unique design. The service across all departments was excellent. Because of the rain, we ended up having all our meals (brunch and dinner) at the hotel restaurants. The Chinese restaurant on the first floor had good food and a wide variety of dishes. A special thanks to the lady at the front desk who checked me in; her attention to detail was great, and she even upgraded our room. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of an underground parking garage. Our car couldn't fit into the mechanical parking system, and although staff members were on hand with umbrellas to escort us to and from our car in the surface lot, it still wasn't ideal in the rain.

The room is a little yellow duck theme room, very cute, bedding and toiletries are all little yellow duck ~ The scenery outside the terrace is nice, you can see the mountains in the distance and the lake nearby. The room has a bathtub, and the terrace also has a balcony table and chairs. The service staff and cleaning staff are very polite. For dinner, just eat in the hotel's Chinese restaurant. Shunde tastes good, and you can use vouchers during the Qingming Festival. Breakfast options are all OK, and you can eat quite full. It's about 20 minutes from Yingxiang Ecological Park, and the road conditions are OK. I ordered takeout to the hotel and picked it up at a designated point on the first floor, which is quite convenient.

Every word of this review is my own, absolutely authentic experience. First, let me rave about the hotel's service: From the moment I walked in to check in, the front desk staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, smiling and even offering to help with my luggage. This is a stark contrast to many 4- and 5-star hotels in China where the front desk staff often have a 'business-only' demeanor. Anyone who travels frequently and stays in hotels will understand what I mean – the feeling is completely different. Then, there's the housekeeping service, which I especially want to highlight and praise! I happened to be on my period during this trip and accidentally stained the bedsheets and duvet. Although I tried to clean it myself, there were still marks. I'm not trying to criticize other hotels that might charge you for this, but this hotel truly offered a perfect solution to the same problem. Finally, regarding the hotel's facilities, I came here for the beautiful environment, and it definitely delivered. The air is fantastic, it's quiet, and the overall experience was excellent.

Great hotel with spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The breakfast was delicious, especially the freshly made fruit smoothies.I was exhuasted of work and the lobby very comfortable 🤣😘 The location is also very convenient. I would definitely stay here again!

Aside from the facilities and decor being a bit dated, I honestly can't fault anything else. The service was genuinely excellent and heartfelt, not at all fake. Liz at the front desk was so thoughtful; she upgraded our room and gave us great recommendations for local food and attractions. Every service, from room service to the pool and restaurant, was superb. Even though the facilities are older, they're perfectly functional. The location is also fantastic, and the view from the window is lovely.

I was in Foshan for a business trip this time. My first two nights at the Marriott in Shunde were excellent, so I wanted to try the Marriott in Qiandeng Lake for the next two nights, but unfortunately, it was fully booked. So I decided to try Courtyard by Marriott, a brand under the same group. I found that the room I booked at Courtyard was also fantastic, despite not having a bathtub, which it wasn't supposed to have anyway! I was very satisfied with the room the front desk lady arranged for me! I could see the brightly lit night market and clusters of illuminated buildings of Qiandeng Lake at night. The room itself was clean, tidy, bright, and spacious. The location is great too; it's just a short walk to explore Qiandeng Lake in the evening. The breakfast was also pretty good; the chef was creative, offering not only common Chinese and Western dishes but also traditional Foshan dim sum to try! A special, special thank you goes to Shirley at the front desk. Her service was not only warm and enthusiastic, but her genuine smile was also lovely. When I was working in the lobby lounge, she would also check in on me and offer assistance at appropriate times, making me feel incredibly at home! Highly recommend it!! Out of the three hotels I stayed in on this business trip, Shirley's service left the deepest impression!! I hope Courtyard can properly commend her, and I wish friends who read this review that they'll also encounter Shirley when they stay at Courtyard.

The Hilton Shunde boasts an excellent location right next to a commercial district, making it super convenient for getting around and finding food. There are authentic Shunde delicacies everywhere nearby, so it's easy to try local favorites like offal hotpot and fish sashimi. The rooms are comfortable, making this my top choice for a Shunde food tour!

The service was exceptional, very patient throughout my stay, and they even upgraded my room for free! The room itself was spotless, and the night view was absolutely stunning. It was an amazing check-in experience, truly making it feel special. Highly recommended!

We had a very comfortable stay. There were plenty of dining options nearby, so we could just head back to our room to relax when we were tired, and then go for a swim or visit the playground when we were refreshed. Both the kids and adults felt very relaxed. We'd definitely love to stay here again if we have the chance.

I stayed at *Yazi Hotel Foshan* for over 6 days and had a very pleasant experience. The *staff were friendly, polite, and always helpful*. Every day, the housekeeping auntie cleaned the room thoroughly, which I really appreciated. The *breakfast area offers a lovely view*, and I was also impressed by the thoughtful *afternoon tea and late-night supper* options — a nice touch that made the stay even more enjoyable. The *only downside* is that there are only two elevators, which can be a bit slow during peak hours. But overall, I'm very satisfied with the service, comfort, and hospitality. Highly recommended!
