5-Star Hotels in Foshan

After comparing several hotels, I finally chose this one, and it was a satisfying stay. The cleanliness is commendable; the room was very tidy. The bedding was comfortable, allowing for a good rest. Service was prompt, and communication was smooth when I had requests. The location is excellent, with complete amenities nearby. I didn't encounter any unpleasant issues, and the overall experience was good. This hotel is definitely worth considering for your travels.

Exceeded expectations, it was great! The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk staff were very friendly. What really stood out to me was that all the service staff could sit while working, which I think is excellent. I believe all hotel front desks should encourage sitting, there's no need to stand all the entire time. The bar on the 20th floor was very stylish, and the birthday decorations that the hotel helped arrange in advance were also lovely. The pool was very clean too. Highly recommend staying here.

I had a wonderful stay here and will definitely be back. If you are looking for a high-end experience without the steep price tag, this is the perfect spot. It is located right next to the Marriott Hotel, and the layout feels remarkably similar. You’re getting a very comparable room setup but at a much more affordable rate. The room was spotless. The room was surprisingly spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and work without feeling cramped.

My best friend's birthday was coming up, so we organized a trip together. After searching around, we chose this hotel, figuring that since it's an Intercontinental brand, everything should be excellent. And it turned out to be the right choice! It's about a ten-minute taxi ride from the South Station to the hotel. For the birthday, the hotel also helped with decorations and even provided a complimentary birthday cake. The only slight downside was that it might have been too crowded on the weekend. The breakfast buffet was very busy, and we had to wait quite a while for a table. However, the staff did offer the option of taking the food back to our room, which was a good alternative.

My recent stay at Xinghai Royal Hotel (Foshan Xinghai Yihua Hotel) was an absolute delight, easily one of the most refined hospitality experiences I have had in Southern China. From check‑in onward, every detail was thoughtfully curated. The lobby carries an understated luxury, balancing contemporary design with warm, welcoming touches that immediately set a tranquil tone. My room was generously proportioned, immaculately clean, and fitted with premium bedding that guaranteed deep, restful sleep after long days of business and exploration. Floor‑to‑ceiling windows offered pleasant city views, and modern amenities were seamlessly integrated without feeling cluttered. Service deserves special praise. Every team member demonstrated professionalism and genuine attentiveness, anticipating small needs and responding with grace. Breakfast was another highlight — a well‑curated spread blending local Cantonese flavours and international selections, fresh and flavourful, a perfect start to each day. Location‑wise, the hotel enjoys excellent access to major wholesale markets and dining spots across Nanhai, making it ideal for travellers on market trips while remaining a peaceful retreat at night. If you are visiting Foshan and value comfort, subtle sophistication and consistent service, I cannot recommend Xinghai Royal Hotel highly enough. It has earned a permanent spot on my accommodation list for future visits.

I had a truly satisfying stay, honestly, I couldn't find a single fault. Both the facilities and service were top-notch, and the staff were exceptionally professional, truly going above and beyond to accommodate every request. The room was standard but the river view was fantastic. You can confidently choose this hotel for your trip. I stayed here for three days, and Shunde's food goes without saying. Taking a swim when it was hot during the day was very pleasant. The location is a bit south, but it's only about a ten-dollar taxi ride to some of the popular foodie spots in the city. Here are a few small suggestions: 1. I'd suggest installing voice control for the room, or at least a timer for the air conditioning. The hotel's AC is incredibly powerful; the lobby was freezing, and even with the AC on all night in the room, it got a bit chilly. 2. The mattress was a little too soft; it would be better if it were firmer. 3. The touch buttons by the bed weren't very responsive, physical buttons would be better. Especially for opening the curtains, you had to keep pressing and holding. Despite these minor points, it was an excellent stay. Five-star review!

Choosing Hilton was definitely the right decision. The security guard at the entrance was very polite when we parked, and the front desk staff was friendly and patient. Initially, there was a small issue during check-in where I got a bit upset about the room and complained. Manager Ryssin understood the situation and patiently provided a reasonable explanation, which immediately calmed me down, and he quickly helped resolve the problem. I have to give a thumbs-up 👍🏻. This kind of attitude and service made me feel very comfortable, and that's what matters, especially since the outcome left me very satisfied. The room was spacious, clean, and had a great view. It's very close to Fisherman's Wharf, and there's a mall right next to it, making dining very convenient. During my stay, Manager Ryssin also checked in with me to see how things were going and offered his help if I needed anything. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time; they truly delivered on emotional value.

The hotel was very clean and the soundproofing was excellent. I was a bit worried when I found out we were on the 3rd floor facing the street, especially with two kids, fearing they'd be woken up in the middle of the night. But it turned out to be a pleasant surprise! The service was fantastic, really on point. I might have missed the call for our takeout delivery, so after calling the front desk, they immediately brought it up to our room. Before I even had a chance to ask for two extra toothbrushes and slippers, they thoughtfully sent them up, along with milk for the kids. Plus, the room included a buffet breakfast and dinner, which were delicious. The shrimp, in particular, were very fresh. Sometimes at buffets, the shrimp are frozen, but here they were great. I'll definitely choose this hotel again if I'm in the area.

Seriously blown away, it felt really good overall. Everything seemed pretty great, except for one small thing: the bathrobe wasn't replaced with a fresh one when the room was cleaned, even though I didn't use it, haha. But those are minor issues! I have to specifically mention that the room itself was excellent; the curtains were really blackout, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable to sleep on. Seriously great!

🏨 Foshan@Shunde Lesso Courtyard Hotel | Kids' room captivated my children! My two kids and I stayed in the Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf themed family room, and we were instantly amazed when we opened the door 🤩 It's simply a room designed for kids to burn off energy! The little tent was also Pleasant Goat themed 🐑, and the two brothers immediately dove in, chattering away. One moment they were pretending to have a meeting in Goat Village, the next they were plotting to catch Big Big Wolf. With the digital building blocks, they put their heads together to build a Goat Village castle 🥳. The room details were also incredibly thoughtful. The floor-to-ceiling windows had excellent sound insulation and fantastic natural light ☀️. When the sun shone in, the whole room was bright, bright, bright! The space was so generous that the kids could run around without feeling cramped at all. The family dinner set meal 🍱 could be delivered to the room – a godsend for lazy people, haha! They had both Chinese and Western dishes, and the taste was quite good. The hotel's breakfast buffet had a huge variety 🥐, including freshly made noodles 🍜, Cantonese dim sum 🥧, fresh fruits 🍉… Eating a good breakfast gave us more energy to play. The hotel facilities were absolutely top-notch 👍: It had its own ”Candy House Kids' Paradise 🎠” + pickleball court 🏀, where you could literally 'drop off' the kids to expend their energy. Do the adults want to relax? The gym 🏋️ and heated swimming pool 🏊 were available anytime. Downstairs was Yingshen Plaza, with a large supermarket and plenty of food options 🍜, making it super convenient for an evening stroll and finding a meal. 🌏 The newly opened B.Duck City Park was super fun, with new and clean facilities 🌺. There was Ultraman car driving, ball pit, crazy disco, flying diaries, trampoline, and marble games~
