__.KennethSo delighted with my stay at the Chaocong Ancient Street branch in Changsha! Tucked away on an old flagstone street, it offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. Step outside and you're surrounded by street food, and it's a short walk to Wuyi Square. The wabi-sabi style decor is chic and perfect for photos. The room comes with a Dyson hairdryer and Le Labo toiletries, and the bedding is so comfortable I slept soundly. The concierge service was attentive and thoughtful, breakfast was plentiful, and they even had a unique 'magic cube' event where you could swap for milk tea. So many thoughtful details! This is definitely my top choice for travel, I'll be staying here again next time.

The decor is incredibly tasteful, understated yet luxurious, and every corner is picture-perfect. The quality of the materials used in the details far exceeds that of typical 'Instagrammable' spots. But what truly earned my five-star rating is the service. From the lovely ladies at the front desk, to the photographer, and even the housekeeping aunties, everyone was proactive, enthusiastic, and offered the most thoughtful service with the kindest tone. From the moment we were picked up for check-in, to the endless supply of drinks and fruits in the lobby, and delicious supper and breakfast that even the kids couldn't resist 😋. Especially when we returned to our room one evening and they proactively upgraded us from a lower floor to a higher one, we experienced the most romantic and cozy accommodation. There were thoughtful little reminder notes placed throughout the room, adding to that warm and comfortable feeling. This kind of perfectly executed attention to detail makes you feel incredibly cared for. Good hardware is a bonus, but truly attentive service is at the heart of it all. The amazing service from the staff left absolutely no room for complaint! They truly made it feel like home!

Even though it's located in a bustling area, it's remarkably quiet once you close the windows, ensuring a great night's sleep without any disturbance from outside noise. Xiao Jiang and Pei Zhen at the front desk provided meticulous and thoughtful service, always available when needed. I'd definitely come back to Xiangjiang Hotel if I visit Changsha again!

MMarcHoMy recent two-night stay at The Jewel Hidden Valley was nothing short of wonderful. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this serene and culturally rich retreat provided the perfect escape. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality of the staff made us feel right at home. A special mention goes to ”Julie” and ”Zhang Kai Yi” (if I remember correctly), who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Despite the rain, they selflessly helped us with our luggage all the way to our villa—a gesture that truly touched us. Zhang even took the time to personally walk us to the Tong Guan Kiln, which was about 8 minutes away, sharing interesting insights along the way. Their kindness and attentiveness were truly impressive. The hotel’s design and layout are stunning, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings while maintaining a luxurious feel. Our villa was spacious, well-appointed, and immaculately clean, with high-quality amenities and toiletries that added to the comfort. Breakfast was another highlight—the spread was extensive, offering a variety of delicious options that catered to different tastes. Every dish was fresh and flavorful, making it a great start to our days. Overall, The Jewel Hidden Valley exceeded my expectations in every way. You can use your room card to access the hotel from the parking lot, which saves a lot of hassle with elevators. All the furnishings and amenities in the room are coordinated, even the trash cans match the theme and decor, showing great attention to detail. The bedding is very comfortable, and housekeeping is prompt. The service is very responsive. The TOTO toilet is currently the best smart toilet on the market, and the Kohler bathroom fixtures provide a great experience.

GGuest UserWe just had a fantastic family vacation celebrating my wife’s birthday in Changsha, and staying at the Oryard Hotel Changsha Juzhou was a wonderful decision. We checked in on May 22, 2026, and checked out on May 25, 2026. I can easily provide 5+ star comments without hesitation. The hotel is very new and has a grand and clean overall impression. The river view from the hotel is magnificent. All the facilities are advanced. The room is spacious, and I love the modern Chinese style design. What really impressed me was the service? Both the front desk and the restaurant staff can provide proactive services. For example, I had a little cough during my breakfast, and the restaurant manager provided me with some food and drink that could comfort my coughing. All the restaurant staff were well-trained and offered excellent service during our breakfast time. The butler service was amazing too, which made my wife’s birthday celebration memorable. My wife and daughter were extremely impressed. Also, the gym and swimming pool were clean and comfortable. Finally, this is the first time I’ve enjoyed writing comments after my hotel stay. I was extremely happy to recognize the team at the Oryard Hotel Changsha Juzhou. I believe the leadership and management of the hotel have spent tremendous efforts in training, as this level of service is difficult to achieve. We are also thinking of visiting Zhangjiajie during the winter holidays. We will obviously stay at the Oryard Hotel Changsha and are looking forward to coming back.

The concierge was proactive in helping with our luggage, which was a nice touch. The Heavenly Bed in the room was super comfortable, and the cleaning service was excellent!
