4-Star Hotels in Naha

My stay at the Okinawa Hinode Hotel was a wonderful experience and one of the highlights of my trip to Okinawa. The hotel is conveniently located near Kokusai Street, making it easy to explore local restaurants, souvenir shops, and popular attractions. The monorail station is also within walking distance, which made transportation very convenient. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. Although the space was not very large, it was well organized and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff members were friendly, polite, and always willing to help whenever I had questions. One of the best parts of the hotel was the complimentary services. Guests could enjoy free drinks, ice cream, and late-night ramen, which created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The public bath was also excellent and helped me relax after a long day of sightseeing. In addition, the breakfast offered a variety of delicious Okinawan dishes and fresh ingredients. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at the Okinawa Hinode Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Okinawa.

The hotel's location is pretty good. While it's not in the very center of Kokusai Street, it's quite convenient for the subway station. You can walk to the Prefectural Office and even DFS. There's also a seafood market right next door, which is great for dining. The lobby environment and room size are both decent. However, having to pick up toiletries downstairs yourself makes it feel a bit too much like a budget hotel (even though it carries the JR name...)

A friend who stayed here before highly recommended it, even asking me to bring back the hotel's essential oils, and luckily, I managed to get some when they restocked. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; it's right across the street from the monorail station that comes directly from the airport. Walking to Kokusai Dori isn't too far either. The service was excellent, and I was lucky enough to encounter a friendly bespectacled woman who spoke Chinese (wearing a 'trainee' badge). She very enthusiastically informed me of all the important details. I appreciate that the entire hotel building is non-smoking, but it's thoughtful that they have a designated outdoor smoking area on the ground floor. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Location is great. Next to monorail Tsubogawa station. Near the airport and walking distance so Kokouri Dori. There are two konbinis nearby, and there's a Donki on the next block. Room is also quite spacious. There's a bathtub. And I was happy I was able to watch youtube/netflix on the TV. Staff are friendly, too. They made a ”towel cake” for my birthday. 😁

The hotel's location is excellent, with many convenience stores nearby and a 24-hour AEON supermarket within walking distance. However, the room was not very clean, and the bedsheets were not changed daily. The curtains were too thin, so the room became very bright early in the morning, which affected my sleep. The restaurant is quite small and offers limited food choices. In addition, the breakfast price of 3,300 yen is rather expensive considering the selection available.

The photo shows the view from my room. The room was okay—simple but comfortable, and it had a large bed which was great for a good night’s sleep. However, there were a few inconveniences. The TV remote control was in Japanese, which made it difficult to use, especially for someone not familiar with the language. Another downside was the parking situation. There was no free parking available, so I had to pay for the car park each day, which added to the overall cost of the stay. While the room met basic expectations, a few small improvements could have made the experience much better.

The hotel has a small swimming pool upstairs with purple-red neon lights at night. It seems to host mostly European and American guests. Overall, it's nothing spectacular. I booked it last minute because I had to stay an extra night due to a typhoon. The room is a bit small but acceptable, just a little dated. The air conditioning vent had some dust. Everything else was fine, nothing memorable, but the price was quite cheap. Facilities: 4/5 Hygiene: 4/5 Environment: 4/5 Service: 4/5

Location wise is good, very near to the train station which directly come from the airport. There's a grocery store and family mart right opposite the hotel & 7-11 next to the hotel. Hotel will give coupons to redeem 2 glasses of Orion draf upon check in.

I spent very good time here. Compared to its price, this hotel gives you soo much satisfaction. I was really satisfied. Compared to other hotels in Japan, the room was very wide and so clean. You can use bathtub and relax, too. I liked that I can see all Naha city view from this hotel. Also I enjoyed the time in Infinity pool on the 3rd floor. Even though I had no chance to look around 15th floor panoramic view.(I forgot to go up 😅) please go up to 15th floor and check the panoramic view. Even though the weather was very bad (whole day it rained 🥲 )during my visiting Okinawa, staying this hotel made me feel good. Thank you.

It’s surrounded by massage parlours but felt quite safe. Can walk to the busy part of Naha in about 15 minutes. The only reason I’d stay here again is if I wanted to onsen. That was the biggest draw for me. There wasn’t much customer service. Check in with a computer. Same with check out. We had a small Honda N box and they said it’s too tall for their car park. They provided a list of nearby car parks. Again not much service there.
