3-Star Hotels in Busan

This was my second stay, having first used the hotel this spring. The hotel itself is new, so it's incredibly clean and spacious. The view from the room is also fantastic. I was very satisfied with the in-room amenities, such as the washing machine with a dryer, and the separate toilet and shower. I made a slight mistake with the washing machine's operation, but an engineer was called immediately and provided prompt and courteous assistance. It was a pleasant and satisfying stay. Thank you very much.

The location is great, with easy access to public transport and close to the subway station, making it convenient for getting around. The environment is clean. However, the bathroom drain is a bit slow, which causes a drain smell in the room.

View - If you are keen in wharf / harbor view, this hotel (see images) is along the harbour next to wharf, Songdo, so there is no beach on the wharf. At 4am you can hear commotion at the wharf, interesting for a different view from city or sea view. Nearest Songdo beach is still at distance, it is not at door step. Booked a large room for family of 4, comes with 1 Queen bed, 1 single, the last pax ended on the floor with Futons. (Although I indicated i had 4 pax, housekeeper does not seem to be aware, replenishes only for 3 pax?). Small hand towels are issued as bath towel, just be aware. Quite common for smaller hotel accommodation here (inn, AirBnB). Floor heater, water heater works, daily housekeeping. Has bath tub not used at all for winter. Good balcony for sitting in the cold to watch the wharf bustle. Pax using futon had a few bites by bugs, not sure if flew in from outside the room, else the room is clean. Nice open terrace at roof top with telescope to look into Lotte mall at distance, and the open sea after the bridge on the right. Complimentary breakfast offering at basement kitchen is available until 9AM (not 9.30am) - kitchen staff will remind you to finish up at close to 9am, and please clear your dishes at collection area, discard leftovers, return cultery, utensils. Breakfast spread : Cereal with milk (only on weekend), ONE slice of toast with jam, egg/s, one fruit or yoghurt, one coffee/tea, ONE juice, one instant noodles (if you want). Only tried for first morning, other mornings has similar menu on the wall. Staff - looks like husband wife team. Friendly to greet at reception at upper level. Safety wise - As accommodation is located at harbour with large prime movers and containers movements, it is better to travel in groups to look out for each other. I note the drivers are generally careful to look out for pedestrians on the harbour, wharf. Can be a bit dark at night in the surrounding area of the accommodation. Plus point - Double entrance door which allow you to lock inner door in case main door is being accessed externally. Location - About 20mins or so by bus to Busan shopping area where the crowd is. Not too far, The more popular tourist spots, beach sites is further up northeast at Haeundae beach, which is about 1 hour bus ride away. Pricing -, for the pricing, there are better known hotel chains going at more economic rates. So need to do proper research before booking. Else pleasant stay, simple, large room, no fanfare.

The room offers a great sea view and excellent soundproofing. It's definitely worth staying for a few days, though there were some minor stains in the room. The location is superb, right in the heart of Haeundae, with a subway station and bus stops just downstairs, making it incredibly convenient.

The hotel is right next to the subway, which makes getting around very convenient. Even though there are many small karaoke rooms downstairs, it doesn't feel chaotic, and it's quiet at night. There are plenty of convenience stores, an Olive Young, and various restaurants around the apartment building, which is really handy. The room is apartment-style, not huge, but it worked well for my child and me. It's fully equipped with a washing machine, microwave, fridge, and induction cooker. The front desk service was excellent; there's a Chinese-speaking receptionist during the day, which made communication easy. They provide a limited amount of complimentary drinking water, which you can pick up from the front desk. While there's no room cleaning service, they provide plenty of garbage bags and toilet paper, which I think is great.

It offers the perfect vibe to relax, unwind, and snap some envy-worthy photos. Floating in the water with a view of the city skyline and coastal breeze was pure bliss. Whether you want to take a refreshing morning dip or lounge around in the evening, the pool area elevates the entire hotel experience to another level. 4. Location & Hospitality The location is fantastic—super convenient for getting around, grabbing delicious local meals, and hitting up Busan’s famous spots. On top of that, the staff deserves a massive shoutout. Every team member was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, making the check-in and overall stay smooth and seamless. Final Verdict Baymond Hotel is a total 10/10 recommendation! Whether you are traveling solo, as a couple, or with friends, this hotel offers an extraordinary stay that punches way above its price point. I will 100% be staying here again on my next visit to Busan!

This hotel is conveniently located near Seomyeon Station, which connects to Busan's Line 1 and 2 subway lines. It's also close to Bujeon Train Station, with plenty of bus stops nearby, making it super easy to get to the airport. While it's a bit of a distance from most of Busan's attractions, the excellent transportation links mean I was able to reach everything within an hour. Plus, there are tons of shops around, so dining and shopping are incredibly convenient. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, more than enough for a solo traveler. It was very clean, and as an apartment-style hotel, it came equipped with a microwave, stovetop, kettle, and various other amenities. The best part was having a washing machine and plenty of hangers, which was perfect for a full cycle of showering, washing, and drying clothes after a long day of intensive sightseeing. The hotel uses an online self-check-in system, which was quick and easy, and I could connect with customer service online for assistance. The room price was also very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. This was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my trip to Korea, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Busan.

The hotel's location is truly fantastic! It's just a few minutes' walk from the subway station, and the surrounding area is great for exploring. There are plenty of food options, a market nearby, and the beach is also very close. You can even walk to Haeundae Station from here. Strolling along the beach was incredibly relaxing. Regarding the accommodation, check-in is strictly after 3 PM; not even 2:30 PM is allowed. English communication was very good, and having a Wowpass machine in the lobby was super convenient. Breakfast was average, but they have a ramen machine, which is a plus! The dining area is small, but they manage breakfast by assigning time slots, which is great because it prevents everyone from crowding together. The room is small and can't fit two large suitcases. The desk lamp was also broken; I had to go to the lobby to ask for a replacement. From the balcony, you can catch a small glimpse of the beach, but the balcony itself looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, covered in dust. The general cleaning seemed quite perfunctory; there were a bunch of stickers next to the coffee table (probably left by the previous guest, who clearly lacked manners). This hotel provides the basic amenities that you will need. The hotel was more like a boutique hotel located along a restaurant district. It provides good access to the subway and the grand Lotte mall. Unlike what people had commented, the hotel was easy to locate. We were greeted by a beautiful row of cherry blossom trees the week of our stay. The owner of the hotel was very responsive to our needs and gave us what we needed to make our stay comfortable. We had difficulty trying to hang out clothes or bath towels in the bathroom as there are no hanging bars or hooks. There is also no shower curtain so do request for more floor towels to prevent the water from getting to other areas of the bathroom. The host had found a side table for us to use in the bathroom. A point to note is that you would need to climb a flight of stairs to get to your room. The owner was very kind to help us carry our luggage to our room. The hotel is not for the fussy. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

The hotel is a bit old, but the room is spacious and faces the sea with a balcony. The location is convenient, close to the subway station, and it's easy to get a taxi right downstairs. There's also Lotte Department Store nearby, along with cafes and convenience stores.
