HOTEL GUESS WHO

Coming from Seoul by high-speed rail, I can definitely say the rooms here are much better than those in Seoul. There are coffee shops on the ground floor and higher levels of the hotel, and the beach is just across the road, which is very convenient for relaxing. However, it's a bit far from the tourist attractions. On the plus side, there are many small restaurants around. Check-in is on the fifth floor, and you can self-checkout. Just a heads-up, you can't bring takeout food back to your room.

The room was very clean and the location was excellent, right on the beach. The back exit leads to a slope, which was convenient for luggage and getting a taxi. There were plenty of good restaurants nearby, including the one downstairs. My only two complaints are: First, the bathroom drainage wasn't great, so water easily pooled and spilled over to the sink area, making the floor wet. Second, you can't order takeout. I'm not sure why there's such a rule. If it's about charging a cleaning fee for making the room messy, that's understandable, but not being able to order takeout is a bit strange.

I stayed here for a night just before a concert in June. The location is fantastic, right across from the beach. The front desk is on the 5th floor, and there are hotel restaurants on the 1st and 2nd floors. The room was new and modern, with a partial sea view and a great high-floor vista. There's no gym or laundry room. The 3rd and 4th floors are where the main restaurants are, but it seems like the tablet menus are shared. I tried to order pork soup and rice for dinner on the 3rd floor, but there was a bit of a language barrier, and I didn't want to make it too difficult for the staff 😅 (though the soup and rice were really good, by the way! 👌🏻). There's a cafe on the top floor, but I didn't get a chance to go up there. I'd definitely check it out next time if I have the opportunity.

Wanted to catch the BTS concert but also stay by the beach, so I picked this hotel. It's a quiet oasis amidst the bustling area, super comfortable. The beach is right downstairs, and transportation is convenient.

The biggest issue was that before check-in, the hotel explicitly stated that outside food was not allowed in the room, with a warning of a 100,000 KRW cleaning fine for violations. The soundproofing in the room was terrible, and there was a strong, unpleasant smell from the renovation downstairs. Although the panoramic room view was beautiful, I wouldn't come a second time.

The hotel is located right on the beachfront with amazing views of Gwangandaegyo Bridge from the room. There are tons of restaurants, convenience stores, and lively bars nearby. This room type even has a large bathtub, and the room facilities are super new, with a TV that supports YouTube and other streaming services. The bed is incredibly comfortable. The only downside is that because Gwangalli is so lively, you can still hear a bit of noise despite the soundproof windows. Overall, though, I highly recommend it!

The room was clean and spacious, with a bathtub and a separate toilet, which was great. I went to the 15th-floor cafe three times. Both the night view and the morning scenery were lovely and I was able to relax. The cakes were also incredibly delicious.

The room was very clean, comfortable, and a good size – we could easily open two large suitcases. Although the hotel is about an 8-10 minute walk from the subway station, its beautiful first-row sea view makes it all worth it.
