Guest UserI booked late, so I could only get a Quiet Room. The room was very clean, and the bedding was excellent. The front desk service was also good. This hotel has been open for many years. There are private rooms upstairs and a buffet downstairs. It's very close to the beach, and the Tongniu Mountain Scenic Area is right next to it. Overall, it was a great experience.

Guest UserThe hotel's exterior is magnificent, like a castle. I booked a sea view room, and the ocean view from the window was beautiful. Even though it's by the sea, the room was surprisingly dry; my swimsuit dried completely within a day. I was a bit anxious after reading reviews about long queues for breakfast, but when I got there, I found that before 8 AM, there's usually no queue. Plus, staff members directly seat you and place a reserved sign, which is a nice touch. In some hotels, even if there's no queue when it's busy, not finding a seat and having to wander around with your plate is even more awkward.
Now for the good parts, there are two downsides I hope the hotel can improve. First, the hotel's Chinese restaurant is really expensive, and there's a service charge, but the taste and service were truly underwhelming. I had originally planned to just eat at the hotel every day, but after one meal, I realized it didn't even meet expectations for taste or value for money – it failed on all three counts. Secondly, for a hotel at this price point, charging for a can of Coke and a bottle of juice in the mini-fridge seems unnecessary. Many five-star hotels even offer a full selection of expensive drinks for free, along with complimentary fruit and snacks, but here they charge extra, which comes across as a bit petty.

My old parents came from Korea. We - 6 people - wanted to have a great memory during their stay in Dalian. Its location was perfect, sitting at the heart of fishermen s warf, but it was right after rain that things were humid. I should admit that for the peak time and prime location, it is a reasonable price and I blame the wet weather for some smelly environment. Should avoid wet weather. It is already right at the sea. Also, the price is as much as other 5 stars that are not in this location. There are lots of insta spots in and out of the hotel, so it is whether to put yourself at the top location with a bit reasonable price or modernized hotels like Hilton and intercontinental that are farther away and a couple of bucks more expensive.

Guest User🏰The Castle Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Dalian – A huge shout-out to Sunny from customer service!
Our stay at The Castle Hotel in Dalian was made even more amazing by Sunny's exceptional service, on top of the already stunning architecture and views. She was incredibly patient and responsive throughout our entire stay, from pre-arrival to check-out. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed promptly and with great detail. She was a true lifesaver, providing practical advice on everything from room types and travel routes to local attractions and dining recommendations. Her gentle demeanor, professionalism, and efficiency made us feel completely at ease throughout our trip.
The hotel itself exudes a fantastic castle vibe, and the views of Xinghai Bay Bridge are absolutely breathtaking. The environment, cleanliness, and amenities were all top-notch. It was a truly comfortable and enjoyable stay. A big thank you to Sunny! We'll definitely be choosing this hotel again on our next visit to Dalian!

Anonymous UserThe location is excellent for tourists, with the harbour and shopping centre just a short walk away. We especially loved the stunning views, both during the day and at night. The rooms are spacious, and the sound insulation between rooms is very good, making it a comfortable place to stay.
There are a few drawbacks, however. The biggest issue is that there isn’t a separate guest bathroom. Guests staying in the two guest bedrooms need to use the master ensuite to shower, which isn’t very convenient. The bedrooms also don’t have blackout curtains, so they’re quite bright at night due to the neon lights outside, and the early sunrise (around 4:00 am) makes it difficult to sleep in.
We also noticed an unpleasant odour coming from the bathroom drain, which persisted throughout our month-long stay.
Overall, this is a very good place for a large family or group, particularly if you plan to cook your own meals and make use of the laundry facilities. With a few improvements, it would be an even better place to stay.

Anonymous UserFirst off, the location is incredibly convenient. Right outside the door are Xinghai Square and the beach, and there are many great restaurants nearby: Xiding, Wei'erwei'er, Haiwei Dangjia, and Sakuragi Chizuru (not recommended)...
From the moment we arrived at the hotel entrance, every staff member was very welcoming. The duty manager, a man with glasses who checked me in, was exceptionally patient. The absolute best part, though, was the unbeatable view from the room. Sipping coffee and watching people and seagulls in the square from my room was incredibly therapeutic!!! The pool wasn't crowded and was very clean; my child loved it!!
The carpet and headboard in the room were a bit of a downside – they were a bit old-fashioned. However, the other facilities were excellent, and there was no strange odor in the room. The mattress was comfortable, and the room was quiet...
We didn't book breakfast, but ordering takeout was super easy. I highly recommend the pork buns from Xipu and the specialty latte from Wuyoo – I ordered them two days in a row! The Laowei Menzi was also good...
If you're traveling with kids and not looking for a super intense 'special forces' kind of trip, I highly recommend this place. It really gives you that vacation vibe!

Guest UserMy stay at the Xulailai Qixi Seaview Resort Hotel during my trip to Dalian was an exceptionally great experience. The hotel's location is superb; I could see the vast ocean right from my window. Waking up to watch the sunrise and enjoying the sunset glow in the evening was breathtaking, offering expansive views and a wonderful ambiance.
The room itself was spotless and tidy, with a fresh and elegant decor. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The amenities were complete, with stable hot water supply in the bathroom and all necessary toiletries provided. The staff were warm and friendly, responding to requests promptly and thoughtfully. They handled inquiries about travel and luggage storage with great care.
The surrounding area offers convenient access for sightseeing; it's not far from seaside attractions, making walks and exploring very easy. Overall, the value for money is excellent. I had a comfortable and pleasant stay, and I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Dalian.

Guest UserEnvironment: We upgraded to a sea-view room, and the harbor view was truly beautiful. Getting back to the hotel before sunset, we even got to watch a stunning harbor sunset.
Service: Overall, it was quite good. The breakfast at the executive lounge on the 38th floor, though with a limited selection, was compensated by the high-altitude sea view we enjoyed while eating.
The Conrad's mascot bear is really nice, two thumbs up!

Guest UserWe brought our child to Dalian this time, and staying at the Xinghai Holiday Hotel was definitely the right choice! The hotel's location is superb, with the Cross-Sea Bridge and Xinghai Square right outside our window. My child would eagerly press their face against the window every morning to watch the sea. What truly touched us was the duty manager, Manager Ning. Upon learning we were traveling with our 7-year-old son, Manager Ning specially upgraded us to a higher-floor sea-view room, offering an even more expansive view. They even thoughtfully provided children's toothbrushes and slippers. Throughout our stay, Manager Ning would always crouch down to chat with my child whenever we met, asking if they were having fun – truly approachable and friendly. The hotel was clean, and the staff were all very welcoming. This experience made our whole family feel warm and cared for. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Dalian! A heartfelt thank you to Manager Ning and the entire team for their dedicated service!
