Guest UserI booked late, so I could only get a Quiet Room. The room was very clean, and the bedding was excellent. The front desk service was also good. This hotel has been open for many years. There are private rooms upstairs and a buffet downstairs. It's very close to the beach, and the Tongniu Mountain Scenic Area is right next to it. Overall, it was a great experience.

YigedayudeI’ve lost count of how many times I've visited Dalian, but this is my first time in the Development Zone, and it might just become my favorite spot in Dalian. It has mountains and sea, great food and entertainment. It’s been years since I’ve seen a place so vibrant and full of energy.
I'd give the hotel a 90/100. Perhaps the Marriott Fairfield Inn's customer profiling perfectly matched my needs – everything I needed was there, and none of the unnecessary frills. The room wasn't huge, but perfectly adequate. The TV supports screen mirroring, there's a computer and printer on the first floor, and breakfast was simple but complete – the eggs were so fresh they didn't even have an air cell (every day!). The laundry room was handy, and the gym was well-maintained. Initially, I worried about noise from the light rail downstairs, but it wasn't an issue at all. The soundproofing is even better than some similarly priced hotels; in two days, I only heard muffled voices from next door once. Compared to certain other brands (*cough* MoDu, Ji hotels *cough*), it's like they're practically whispering in your ear.
There are tons of great restaurants near the hotel, and it's super convenient to get to the beach and Daheishan. I'm pretty sure I'll be staying here again on my next visit.
Minor drawbacks:
1. I smelled cigarette smoke in the hallway a few times. If guests are allowed to smoke in their rooms, perhaps the public areas need more prompt smoke removal.
2. The gym equipment could use a wider variety of handle types.
3. Could the soy milk please be sugar-free by default?

Guest UserMy stay at the Castle Hotel was absolutely fantastic, completely exceeding my expectations. I had imagined a hotel over 10 years old would feel dated, but to my surprise, it was incredibly well-maintained. The rooms feature smart toilets, double sinks in the bathroom, and a spacious shower with excellent water pressure. The hotel's European castle style exudes grandeur and elegance, with meticulous attention to detail. The facilities, including the gym and pool, are comprehensive and have extended opening hours – the pool even opens at 6:30 AM! The sky garden on the 5th floor is beautiful, with the castle and greenery intertwining, offering a superb spot to view Xinghai Square and the cross-sea bridge. It's a perfect photo opportunity, and I've seen it recommended on Xiaohongshu. The hotel service was also exceptional, truly living up to its reputation as a 5-star landmark. After checking out, Dansey asked about my experience, and I was just so satisfied overall. I'll definitely be back!

Facilities: The room is very spacious, equipped with a fridge, microwave, and washing machine. The bed is also quite large.
Cleanliness: The room was spotlessly clean.
Environment: During the day, you can see the lake of the children's park from the window, which offers a great view. At night, you can see the twinkling lights of tall buildings. The scenery is quite nice.
There are many restaurants on the surrounding streets, including barbecue joints and noodle shops, and they all have pretty decor.
Service: The owner was very enthusiastic and even gave me a pack of bottled water. Luggage storage is available.
Summary: The hotel is great and very comfortable to stay in. The downside is that transportation is not convenient, as it's quite far from both bus stops and subway stations.

Anonymous UserIt was a perfect trip. I wanted to go to Lushun to go shopping. I took the light rail terminal to see the sea. It was very close to the World Peace Park. Although it was late, the park was still lively. The sea was clear and there was no smell of the sea. The store upgraded the room type and turned on the air conditioner in advance. Let the fatigue of the journey sweep away in the cool. In the morning, I looked at Fang Fei on the edge of the villa, the large bathtub floor-to-ceiling windows, and the sea view smelled the flowers. The room is so big, especially when sitting down at the side table on the first floor, I feel like singing a song ”Night on the Outskirts of Moscow”. The flowers in front of the door bloom like a brocade, the green apple exhibition is like a green jade, and the home is very delicious with a single mountain and water.

The trip turned out to be an unexpected delight! The photography opportunities were fantastic; the overall color scheme and aesthetic were incredibly photogenic. Our room featured panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows with a direct sea view – waking up to that was absolutely wonderful! Due to a wedding banquet, dining in the main restaurant wasn't possible, but they thoughtfully delivered lunch to our room. The overall environment was spotless, though with a predominantly white decor, a bit of dust was perhaps more noticeable than ideal. However, the incredible atmosphere and relaxed vibe here more than made up for this minor point! I'll definitely be back!

Guest UserWe stayed at this hotel for 5 days with my family and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were spotless and very clean throughout our entire stay — housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work.
What really stood out was the customer service. The staff added us on WeChat so we could reach them instantly anytime we needed help, whether it was a question about the room, recommendations nearby, or just general assistance. That kind of quick, personal support made us feel well taken care of the whole trip.
Overall, a clean, comfortable, and family-friendly hotel with staff who genuinely go the extra mile. We'd happily stay here again!

Guest UserFive-star recommendation! Our family stay at the Four Seasons Whale Island exceeded expectations; it's absolutely perfect for a family beach vacation.
The hotel boasts an excellent location with its own private beach. You don't have to go far to let the kids dig in the sand and explore the shore, and if you're lucky, you might even spot some starfish. The little ones had an absolute blast. Amber Bay, with its larger expanse of sea perfect for wading and shell collecting, is just a short walk away, offering plenty of opportunities for beachcombing. The surrounding amenities are also top-notch, with authentic seafood restaurants serving delicious meals and trendy, Instagrammable cafes that are perfect for snapping great photos and relaxing.
The rooms are very comfortable. Each is equipped with an extra-large bathtub, which is wonderfully relaxing after a day of playing by the sea. Just a friendly reminder: remember to close your doors and windows, as small insects can occasionally fly in.
Overall, our stay was fantastic, though I have two small suggestions for improvement: Firstly, a mini-fridge in the room would be incredibly convenient, especially in summer for storing cold drinks, baby food, and fresh ingredients. Secondly, I hope the bedding maintenance can be enhanced in the future; some sheets and duvets weren't as pristine as they could be. Regular replacement and updates would further elevate the quality.
All in all, this is a highly recommended resort in the Dalian Shicao area that we'd gladly return to. It's a top choice for family trips, and I recommend it to families looking for a peaceful seaside escape and easy beach exploration!

The hotel on the golf course feels that it is mainly prepared for guests who come to play golf overnight. It is written as a five-star, but the facilities are actually a bit old. Facing the side of the course, the view is invincible, it is worth a trip for one night alone. The price is also very reasonable. The manager is very enthusiastic. Breakfast is a set meal, relatively simple and tastes good. The room is large, with a balcony and a bathtub. There is free bottled water, because it is a small bottle, so four bottles were given. Later, two bottles were sent. Insufficient: 1. The hot water flow in the shower is too small and the water temperature is low. The traffic below is a bit noisy in the morning.
