Guest UserI booked late, so I could only get a Quiet Room. The room was very clean, and the bedding was excellent. The front desk service was also good. This hotel has been open for many years. There are private rooms upstairs and a buffet downstairs. It's very close to the beach, and the Tongniu Mountain Scenic Area is right next to it. Overall, it was a great experience.

YigedayudeI’ve lost count of how many times I've visited Dalian, but this is my first time in the Development Zone, and it might just become my favorite spot in Dalian. It has mountains and sea, great food and entertainment. It’s been years since I’ve seen a place so vibrant and full of energy.
I'd give the hotel a 90/100. Perhaps the Marriott Fairfield Inn's customer profiling perfectly matched my needs – everything I needed was there, and none of the unnecessary frills. The room wasn't huge, but perfectly adequate. The TV supports screen mirroring, there's a computer and printer on the first floor, and breakfast was simple but complete – the eggs were so fresh they didn't even have an air cell (every day!). The laundry room was handy, and the gym was well-maintained. Initially, I worried about noise from the light rail downstairs, but it wasn't an issue at all. The soundproofing is even better than some similarly priced hotels; in two days, I only heard muffled voices from next door once. Compared to certain other brands (*cough* MoDu, Ji hotels *cough*), it's like they're practically whispering in your ear.
There are tons of great restaurants near the hotel, and it's super convenient to get to the beach and Daheishan. I'm pretty sure I'll be staying here again on my next visit.
Minor drawbacks:
1. I smelled cigarette smoke in the hallway a few times. If guests are allowed to smoke in their rooms, perhaps the public areas need more prompt smoke removal.
2. The gym equipment could use a wider variety of handle types.
3. Could the soy milk please be sugar-free by default?

Guest UserGood day to all travelers! Thank you all for your feedback. Thanks to you, we chose these apartments. The room is quiet, clean and cozy. The rest is calm and pleasant. A room with two comfortable beds. Additionally, the room has a table with two chairs, a soft sofa, a TV, wardrobes, a refrigerator, a washing machine, and a small kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave oven, an induction hob, a kettle and dishes. If something is needed, everything is kindly provided by the host. All provided bed linen, towels are plentiful and very clean. In the bathroom: shampoo, hair balm, toothbrushes, razor and household chemicals. Two types of slippers are also provided, one of them for the shower. There is unlimited bottled water, wet and dry wipes. The room is cleaned at the first request. The staff is very polite and friendly, BUT the most important advantage of this hotel is the owner Wang and his lovely wife. It's very good that they both speak English. His kindness, concern and sincere desire to help are priceless.
The most necessary thing in hot weather in this room is air conditioning. And a beautiful view of the lake from the window. The hotel is located in the city center, close to the metro, train station, park, bank, shopping streets, cafes and restaurants. There is a large hypermarket within a three—minute walk, where you can buy everything you need. To see the sights is not far and not expensive, by different means of transport or on foot. We had a great time with our family. And I really didn't want to leave the beautiful city. We liked everything here, there is something to see. Dalian is beautiful!!!

I was very satisfied with my stay. The room offered a beautiful and stunning view of the cross-sea bridge light show. The 5th-floor sky garden is also a great spot for photos, and it's even where the 'Keep Running' episode with Angelababy's return was filmed! The hotel also has a pool and a gym, so the facilities are very comprehensive. The front desk staff provided service with a smile and the check-in process was efficient. After checking out, Dansey called to follow up and ask about my experience, which was a very nice touch.

The environment here is particularly good. It is a three-story villa. The houses are newly renovated and the facilities are very complete. The landlord’s aunt is very enthusiastic and has free coffee and tea. It is also very close to Lushun Xingang subway station and the traffic is developed. You can see the sea outside the window, and the price is high.

Overall, the room by the sea offered a fantastic view. The room itself was also very clean and beautiful. It was incredibly therapeutic just to relax in the room and gaze at the scenery.
However, it's important to note that there are no shops or amenities around the guesthouse. Breakfast starts late, at 8:30 AM, and there are restricted entry/exit hours during the early morning and late at night.

Guest UserWe stayed at this hotel for 5 days with my family and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were spotless and very clean throughout our entire stay — housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work.
What really stood out was the customer service. The staff added us on WeChat so we could reach them instantly anytime we needed help, whether it was a question about the room, recommendations nearby, or just general assistance. That kind of quick, personal support made us feel well taken care of the whole trip.
Overall, a clean, comfortable, and family-friendly hotel with staff who genuinely go the extra mile. We'd happily stay here again!

Guest UserFive-star recommendation! Our family stay at the Four Seasons Whale Island exceeded expectations; it's absolutely perfect for a family beach vacation.
The hotel boasts an excellent location with its own private beach. You don't have to go far to let the kids dig in the sand and explore the shore, and if you're lucky, you might even spot some starfish. The little ones had an absolute blast. Amber Bay, with its larger expanse of sea perfect for wading and shell collecting, is just a short walk away, offering plenty of opportunities for beachcombing. The surrounding amenities are also top-notch, with authentic seafood restaurants serving delicious meals and trendy, Instagrammable cafes that are perfect for snapping great photos and relaxing.
The rooms are very comfortable. Each is equipped with an extra-large bathtub, which is wonderfully relaxing after a day of playing by the sea. Just a friendly reminder: remember to close your doors and windows, as small insects can occasionally fly in.
Overall, our stay was fantastic, though I have two small suggestions for improvement: Firstly, a mini-fridge in the room would be incredibly convenient, especially in summer for storing cold drinks, baby food, and fresh ingredients. Secondly, I hope the bedding maintenance can be enhanced in the future; some sheets and duvets weren't as pristine as they could be. Regular replacement and updates would further elevate the quality.
All in all, this is a highly recommended resort in the Dalian Shicao area that we'd gladly return to. It's a top choice for family trips, and I recommend it to families looking for a peaceful seaside escape and easy beach exploration!

The hotel on the golf course feels that it is mainly prepared for guests who come to play golf overnight. It is written as a five-star, but the facilities are actually a bit old. Facing the side of the course, the view is invincible, it is worth a trip for one night alone. The price is also very reasonable. The manager is very enthusiastic. Breakfast is a set meal, relatively simple and tastes good. The room is large, with a balcony and a bathtub. There is free bottled water, because it is a small bottle, so four bottles were given. Later, two bottles were sent. Insufficient: 1. The hot water flow in the shower is too small and the water temperature is low. The traffic below is a bit noisy in the morning.
