The breakfasts are excellent, with vegetables, porridges, and desserts! Everything is clean and tidy. The administrator, a pleasant young woman, greeted us and sent us off with a smile."

"The hotel is new and the facilities are great. The room was quiet and the bedding was comfortable, and the room size was just right. The hotel's location isn't far from the train station, and it's a quick taxi ride to the main attractions. On weekdays, the street outside has quite a bit of traffic, but on weekends, it's generally not congested at all. Samarkand isn't a very large city, so overall, I highly recommend this place. By the way, the hotel massage didn't have any discount, contrary to the 10% off mentioned on the booking page, and they only accept cash, which was a bit inconvenient."

Overall, the cleanliness was really lacking; it was obvious they were just pretending to look clean. - The power went out regularly, including the air conditioning and internet. - The bathroom was very small, literally impossible to move around in. Price-wise, it's acceptable, but if you're looking for service and cleanliness, this isn't the option."

"Was here for a conference. Seems to be a fairly new hotel. Very good location not so far from train station. Maybe 15 minutes by taxi to the Registan area. Rooms are good, quiet from the street. Good WiFi, nice heated and power-flushing toilets. Good shower pressure. Very clean. The only real issue I have is that the breakfast is more of a guesthouse level and not a hotel level. At this level, I would prefer some different hot options, including perhaps a buffet, even if small. So, if you stay more than a few days, you will definitely get tired of the breakfast. However, overall a good stay. The level of hotel is being upped in Samarkand!"

"It's quite a distance from the old town, so you can think of it as a different neighborhood entirely. Since it's still early in its development, there aren't many good places to eat around here. However, the quality of the accommodation and the surrounding environment are excellent. If I were to visit again, I would definitely stay here again. We stayed in a suite, and it was good."

"I loved everything – the cozy and comfortable room with a comfortable, firm (but not too firm!) bed, all the essentials, including a robe, hairdryer, and even a humidifier, modern, high-quality finishes with an oriental touch, quiet and dark at night, and a wonderful view from the window (we had a room overlooking the pool). The breakfast was delicious, with a fantastic selection. The staff was very polite and helpful."

"Shahjahon Hotel is located in a very unassuming neighborhood, tucked among local houses and small shops. But once you step through its gates, you’re welcomed by a magnificent, quintessentially Uzbek façade, charming! Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was especially cozy after a long day of exploring. We were treated to a typical Uzbek breakfast, generous and nourishing. The hotel is just a short walk from Registan Square and the main historical attractions, making it very convenient. A lovely and comfortable base for exploring Samarkand."
