Siab Boutique Hotel ★★★
"The position of hotel is just great. It's very near tourist attraction enough to walk there. And everything is all right enough to recommend. The breakfast is good with diverse food more than the expectation. In taking a shower, the water pressure is so strong that the guest can easily wash and remove the tiredness from walking around the city. Reasonable price, but satisfaction with the kind staffs."
Hilton Garden Inn Samarkand ★★★★
"The environment is great, and all the staff speak English, so communication was very smooth. The price is reasonable! The room was quiet, and the water pressure was good. I would definitely consider this hotel again if I come back to the area. It's a reliable and reassuring choice."
The Moonya Hotel
"Although taxis can't pull right up to the hotel entrance, they can get very close, so it's not inconvenient at all. It's about a 5-minute walk to Registan Square, making it a very convenient hotel for sightseeing. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, including some delicious vegetable options like eggplant and cauliflower that I hadn't seen elsewhere."
AL MARYAM HoteL ★★★
"The administrator was very warm and attentive, always asking about our needs. There were a couple of minor incidents, like a leaking air conditioner, but they immediately offered us a room change. Since we were checking out early, they kindly prepared a breakfast box for us to take away. The service was excellent. Separately, we must highlight how incredibly clean the room was – we even looked for stains but couldn't find any. The linens were perfectly clean and had a pleasant scent. The location is convenient, allowing us to walk to historical sites. The hotel itself is new and well-maintained. On the downside, the lighting in the room was quite dim, making it difficult to read in the evening."
Rayyan Hotel Samarkand ★★★
"Excellent hotel right next to Samarkand's train station. (A maximum 5-minute walk, which was super convenient for us.) The room was clean and had everything we needed: a kettle, fridge, mugs, tea, and coffee. The bathroom was stocked with soap, shampoo, gel, and toothbrushes. There’s an outdoor pool with sun loungers, and the grounds are well-maintained (clean, mowed lawn, planted flowers). However, the pool water is very cold! Breakfasts were tasty; although a bit repetitive, you could easily mix and match different options. I was especially delighted by the local strawberries and the coffee from the machine at breakfast. 🥰 There's a beautiful restaurant on the top floor, but be aware that on weekends, there's loud music from evening until 11 PM. After 11 PM, it gets noticeably quieter and doesn't disturb sleep."
Hilton Garden Inn Samarkand Sogd ★★★★
"Our hotel experience was excellent. All the staff were professional and always willing to help. The hotel was new and clean, our room was cleaned every day, and we had a great sleep thanks to the absence of any noise. We highly recommend this hotel!"
MUSAVVIR ★★
"The hotel itself was great, both the room and the hospitality. However, the road in front of the hotel was undergoing massive construction, making it impassable for cars. We had to walk along an unpaved path, which was quite inconvenient."
Wellness Park Hotel Bactria ★★★
"Clean, very quiet. The location is good for people who has a car. Otherwise far from the center city."
Kok Saroy Plaza hotel ★★★★
"Nice big rooms and very good breakfast, location is convenient - around 10mins walk to Registan and Gur Emir. But the rest was not meeting expectations given the high price. The spa has good facilities but is not operated properly - I had reserved in advance but when I was let in the sauna and hammam was only just turned on so nowhere near proper temperature even by the time my hour ended. Also there was no towel in there (was told there would be). The jacuzzi was connected to the pool so the entire area was cold water, with the pool water level too high - I think they were supposed to be filled separately and not kept at fully filled level. There were some drain flies in my bathroom so cleanliness also needs to be addressed."

Siab Hotel
"Not a bad hotel"
Continental Hotel Samarkand
"It's said to be the third-best hotel in Samarkand, with very unique decor, convenient transportation, and plenty of good restaurants nearby. The breakfast is also delicious, and the service and room facilities are excellent."
Zarafshon Parkside
"Second time at this hotel, loved it, will come again."
Konigil Hotel
Kohinur Plaza
"Stayed here for 3 nights, the reception is really helpful and friendly. The room was huge, beds are comfy & breakfast spread was nice. There’s a small incident where when I checked in I asked the reception how do I use the laundry service, and he gave me wrong information which ended up they didn’t do my laundry and I was out of clean clothes. I called the reception at 7pm (the laundry is closed) and they quickly send someone to collect the laundry from me & send it back to me, cleaned the next morning at 8am. But actually the laundry service is only available 10am-6pm. Glad that they took a swift action on this matter!"
AMETIST HOTEL COMPLEX
"A wonderful place, everything is new, clean, and beautiful. We didn't get around to the pool. There are some good cafes and grocery stores nearby, and a liquor store is 1 km away."
Hotel Samaria Terrace
"1. The Wi-Fi is terrible 2. Hair in the food at breakfast 3. The staff is incompetent 4. There aren't even batteries in the remote controls for the air conditioner and TV 5. Poor housekeeping Overall, the hotel left a very bad impression. The obvious advantages include its proximity to the city center and Registan Square. I chose it based on this."
Gur Emir Palace
"The staff were incredibly friendly, making my stay very pleasant. The breakfast had a great variety of options, which was a plus. Having a mini-market right in front of the hotel was super convenient for quick purchases. It's also close to all the main tourist spots, which is handy. Even though it's on a narrow street, taxis can still get through, so that wasn't an issue. The only minor point was that the shower water pressure was sometimes low, and at other times it was too hot, but it was still usable, so I have no real complaints."
Hilton Garden Inn Samarkand Afrosiyob
"Very good hotel for business trip. Clean and quiet. The staff are very helpful. Strongly recommended."
Shahristan Art Boutique Hotel
"Overall this hotel was OK, I had a nice big bed and everything was clean. The bathroom was OK; good toiletries, nice towels. I put my towels in the shower expecting them to be replaced, instead the cleaning staff just hung them up. The negative about this hotel was that the view from my ground floor window was that of a high brick wall…! Positives were, there was a kettle with tea, a safe, hair dryer and air con. However no fridge The breakfast was good with some hot food and there was coffee from a coffee machine."
Altair Boutique
"Excellent location and can easily walk to the major attractions. Hotel very tastefully decorated and clean. Good breakfast. Looks like a family run hotel and friendly staff. Definitely recommend 👌"
Lia! by Minyoun Stars of Ulugbek
"Big thanks to Mr. Dias Hotel Manager. He did our stay wonderful!"
Hotel Maroqanda
"The accommodation is very close to Registan, making it easy to walk there. The staff provided good service. However, the room had a drain smell, which made the room feel a bit stale. The shower had a rain shower head with widely spaced holes, so it took a long time to rinse off soap because the water pressure wasn't strong. It also took a while for the water to warm up."
Silk Road by Minyoun Samarkand Hotel
"I always choose them one of the best in area"
Golden Samarkand Hotel
"My Chinese friend came to visit and was very happy with it."
