The overall service of the hotel is okay, the breakfast variety is a bit limited, and the bed in the standard room is a bit small.

Good location, good accommodation in the area.
This continental is not the Intercontinental you know.
Breakfast is simple with few choices. The shower room drains very slowly.

High speck decor and grand hotel however a very big let down. Very high speck fixtures and fitting however the finishing is very low speck. Our shower tray was not draining properly. It was like having a shower and bath at the same time. Water was leaking from the shower onto the bathroom floor. Istinja fittings on toilet but not connected. All tourist spots within walking distance. There is no cafe in hotel. Asked for iron 3 times I ended up going down for it myself only to be given a faulty iron. Nice bakery and cafe down the road.

Absolutely wonderful staff. Always friendly and helpful. Room is large and has a nice AC. TV is kinda limited in English but hey we are in Uzbekistan. I found the beds a bit firm and three single beds in the room was odd. Decent breakfast. Clean bath area.

The staff at the Continental are great and really looked after us. Thankyou to all of them. The rooms are clean and spacious and very good. The location is also outstanding as being being walking distance to the Registan and Temurs Mausoleum. The only downside is the hotel serves breakfast but doesn’t serve any other food. This wasn’t an issue as the Boulevard restaurant close by was excellent

New hotel in a good position to start your journey. Full stop Wifi in rooom 220 is very poor, to write this feedback took me one hour. I suggested that is usefully to put a wifi repeater for next guests but the reception man laughed in front of me Reception manager do no properly do his job. I wrote an email nobody answered, at the check in I have repeated my request, (a crepes or waffle or croissant or a piece of cake no milk no eggs) at this point he assured me that he will command the restaurant. Guess what ? The day after I received 2 very rude “it’s not possible” from the waiters
