"The hotel’s location and cleanliness were very good. However, the housekeeping staff did not change the bed sheets during my stay, and the rooms could be cleaned more thoroughly. The sound insulation between rooms is not very good, and you can easily hear noise from neighboring rooms. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but there is definitely room for improvement in housekeeping and soundproofing."

"The hotel, room and staff are great! There is something that honestly brothered me.  Anything bought at the hotel bar had a 10% mandatory service charge.  And this 10% does NOT go to the empoles who are there serving, but to the hotel company. Does not seem fair "

The breakfast was very good with a nice variety, the staff were professional, friendly, and always helpful. The service throughout my stay was excellent. "The best advantage of this hotel is its location, next to restaurants and bars. Heart of Istanbul. However, for those who value peace and quiet, this can also be a drawback, as in the evenings there is a lot of music and noise, especially noticeable on the first floor (it may be quieter on higher levels). The hotel itself is fairly clean, well-kept, and relatively new compared to many others in Istanbul. Breakfast is definitely worth including – it’s excellent, with a wide variety of fresh options, Turkish tea and coffee, and even made-to-order omelets. Staff don’t rush you out when breakfast time ends, and they keep replenishing dishes, which is a big plus. On the downside, the reception could be friendlier, and the staff’s English level is quite limited. For example, when we requested extra bedding, room service brought us fries instead. Additionally, in September the rooms were cold, and unfortunately only the air conditioning worked – the heating did not. The restaurant downstairs, Pera 77, offers live music in the evenings. In our case, the singer was late, performed only a few songs, then took a break and never returned before we left. Food quality was mixed: the soup and cheese platter were good, but the steak was tasteless and the fries soggy. Overall, the hotel is a good option if you want a lively location with outstanding breakfasts, but be aware of noise and some service limitations."

"The location is excellent! They are directly above Taksim, and only about 2 mins to reach the metro station. Views are pretty good if you get to face the taksim square, and the rooms are quiet too. However if you are facing the other city view on the left of Taksim square, good luck to you! They have a nearby club which plays super loud music all the way until 1am. Take note if you are sensitive to noise. For the rooms with Bospherous views, personally i think it's not very worth it as the hotel is quite far from the sea. Hence although the views are nice, they are priced too high as the views are too far off (you have to pay about Euro 100 more to upgrade from corner city view to Bospherous deluxe room view). For those who are sensitive to smoke, please take note the hotel is not smoke free. Only some levels are smoke free. However, we stayed on level 9 which is supposed to be smoke free, but we smelled cigarette smoke. Obviously people were smoking on a non-smoking level. When we gave feedback to the staff, they claimed that they will investigate but nothing was done. When we enquired further, they just changed our room to another even smaller room, although they gave us a higher floor with a Bospherous view. Try to avoid corner rooms on level 16. You wont even have space to put luggage. One funny thing is that the hotel will try to push for you to download their app and self help via it. However it was not working for 2 full days. When we gave feedback to the front desk staff, they said their IT team will look into it and fix it by the night, but it was not resolved even until the next day. No idea why they even have the app when it is not even working. Overall, our stay was not as enjoyable as we hoped it would be. The service staff was laggard and not helpful in solving the problems. And not all front desk staff are able to converse confidently in English."

"What was good: 01. The breakfast service was excellent. There weren't any particularly heavy dishes, and the menu was simple enough for a quick bite to eat. However, the fact that there were only two beverage options besides coffee could be improved. 02. The soundproofing was good. I couldn't hear anything from the next room. 03. The bathroom was clean and comfortable to use. What was not memorable was: 01. The staff member's expression was too gloomy during breakfast service. I believe it's the staff's responsibility to welcome everyone in the morning. 02. I don't know about the other rooms, but my room didn't have a personal safe. The check-in information clearly mentioned a safe, but I couldn't find one in my room no matter how hard I searched. 03. Trip.com listed a ”station pickup service” as part of the hotel's amenities. Because of the ambiguous distance, I walked to the hotel instead of taking a taxi. I asked about the ”station pickup service” via WhatsApp three days before check-in, but no one responded. If they had provided detailed information about the hotel's services—the ”pool,” ”station pickup service,” and ”steam room”—and their locations, I would have been able to fully enjoy the hotel as a first-time guest and have a more memorable experience."

"Here are the pros of the hotel: The location is superb, with all major attractions within walking distance. Additionally, tram, metro, train, and ferry stops are all conveniently located within a 5-minute walk. Breakfast was good, offering a decent variety to choose from. The rooftop provides a beautiful panoramic view of the Bosphorus; I thoroughly enjoyed sketching there. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and a convenient mini-market where you can pick up water, fruit, or other essentials. The room came with a small refrigerator, an electric kettle with cups, and complimentary tea and coffee sachets. The staff were consistently polite and unobtrusive. The lower ground floor (-1 level) housed a small gym, a hammam, and a compact swimming pool. However, there were several drawbacks: The rooftop pool, which appears spacious in the hotel's wide-angle photos, is actually quite small and unsuitable for swimming. It felt more like a communal soaking tub where people simply sit in the water. I also found it uninviting due to its murky water, so I opted not to use it. The interior design was poorly executed. Stairwells and floor heights seemed mismatched, and massive support columns bisecting the panoramic windows consumed a significant portion (about a third) of our already small room. The room felt cramped and poorly laid out due to these design errors. For instance, the entrance hallway was uncomfortably narrow with the room door opening inwards, there was a column positioned awkwardly in the middle of the sleeping area, and the ceiling featured a polygonal, multi-level design. Furthermore, the tile grout lines on the walls and floor were noticeably misaligned by about a centimeter, which looked incredibly sloppy and felt like an oversight. The window offered an unattractive view of a car park. Small details were missing, such as a toothbrush holder in the bathroom and sufficient space to hang and dry towels. There was only a single hook in the bathroom, which was inadequate. Overall, it's a decent hotel, but its main issues stem from poor spatial planning and questionable aesthetics."
