My parents were very satisfied with the room's facilities, cleanliness, and ambiance. They especially enjoyed the hotel breakfast, finding the variety extensive and the flavors suitable for both seniors and children. Every time we took a taxi, both arriving and departing, the hotel greeters were very attentive in helping my parents get in and out of the car. This thoughtful service is truly commendable!"

"The outdoor hot spring and facilities are very nice!! The staff has a good service attitude. The only drawback is that the hotel is located on the underground floor. There is a private hot spring indoors, but you have to drain the water yourself. This is my first time staying in an underground hotel. Travelers who mind please don't take photos. The hotel management is average. The hotel breakfast is delivered to the room, not self-service, but the breakfast variety is diverse."

"After getting off the subway at Line 1, it's just a short walk around the corner to Bei Hou Xiang, where there's a small entrance leading directly to the hotel, the West Lake Hotel. Beida Road, right next to it, is full of places to eat. As a solo female traveler, I didn't bother with the hotel breakfast. On Beida Road, there's a Ruixing Coffee, fruit vendors, and local buns and rice cakes. I tried the 'Guobianhu,' a local specialty, and it was packed with locals! My favorite part was the hotel's garden downstairs, with its hundred-year-old banyan tree even having squirrels 🐿️. It shares a park with the Yuehua Hotel, and it's so peaceful and quiet for a morning stroll. All the trees are labeled, and there were two cherry trees in full bloom, along with camellias... the magnolias had just finished blooming. And it's right next to West Lake Park."

"The service was absolutely fantastic. We arrived at the hotel around 6 AM because we could only get a red-eye flight. Since it was a holiday (May Day) and there was a digital conference next door, the hotel was fully booked, so we couldn't check in immediately. The handsome guy at the front desk patiently explained the situation. He processed our check-in, stored our luggage, and assured us that as soon as a room became available after a guest checked out and it was cleaned, they would reserve it for us and notify us promptly. He also offered to have our luggage moved to the room, so we could go out and explore and come back directly to a ready room. Before 10 AM, we received a call from the hotel informing us of our room number and that we could check in. After exploring Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, we returned to the hotel around 11 AM. Upon entering, we realized it was a king-size bed room, but we had booked a twin room. We called the front desk, and the lady there said it might be a system error as their records showed a king-size room. However, she didn't try to evade responsibility and immediately said she would check and get back to us. A few minutes later, she called back to say they had already assigned us a new room. For our convenience, they specifically arranged for a room right next door and sent an employee to deliver the new key cards and help us move our luggage. Every staff member we interacted with was extremely professional and efficient."

It's great for taking photos. It's within walking distance of places to eat, and there's also a McDonald's nearby. The overall service is very good, the room is clean and tidy, the facilities are complete, and the breakfast is rich. Let me talk about two shortcomings: 1. The floor-to-ceiling windows have a good view, but the curtains have poor shading effect, which will affect your ability to sleep in when the weather is good; 2. The sound insulation effect of the room is very poor, and you can clearly hear the noise of the children playing next door."

"The room was small but exquisitely designed. The outdoor hot spring area and pools were incredibly photogenic! The water jets also created a fantastic 'wave' effect. My only suggestion is that the outdoor lights at night need to stay on for several times longer than they currently do; that definitely needs adjusting! The hotel restaurant's food was also excellent. I hope they continue to maintain their high standards. It's a hot spring hotel worth recommending!"
